Due to being only a website platform and apartment listing online and in print, Forrent.com does not have agents and subsequently no real estate licensing is involved as it does with realty agencies that sell real estate properties. This is a good thing for those seeking to rent, not buy, as it simplifies the process and cuts out the agents who are in fact middle men. The only possible "negative" may be that you lose the advantage of having an agent qualify leads for you, which they may do a better job of or may save you time if you're a busy person.The Bottom Line

Had to file a lawsuit against this apartment co.plex because some random person claiming to be an employee who did NOT work on the property during my residency and told me to get an attorney and have my attorney contact their attorney on a closed account with a zero balance because didn't like a negative review I posted as a dissatisfied customer. These threatening and bullying tactics are the tip of the ice berg when dealing with this property! Be warned! Look at BBB

Scam scam scam! BEWARE! SCAM! I believe the website is created by scammers. They don't even have options where you can report scams. A bunch of listing on there are from the same company which is a scam company they take your information they will ask you for a $89 non-refundable application and then they'll call you 2 Days Later telling you that you're not approve. I wanted to rent a free-standing studio on their website. I went there to physically see it there was someone already living in there, multiple of their listing already have people living there how do I know it's the same company because they also have another website in our area called Tampahomes.com and the same listing were there. At least five listing that was on Forrent.com was on their website as well. For some reason the apartments always seemed to stay available even the one that that has someone living there. I went back two months later to see if anybody have moved out on the listing I was scammed on and there was still someone living there and the website had updated that specific listing two days prior. Just stay away from that website entirely it is riddled with scammers.

This company is advertising my property without permission and they do not remove it even after the ad has been pulled from the sites I have it in. So the poor renters are calling and wasting their time and mine.

SCAM SITE. Homes are not even on the market for rentals, but the site will steal your money and information. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
