Lyle did an excellent job and took care of all my problem areas and concerns. He called prior to arrival which I appreciated.
Last Friday, I was supposed to have a treatment but the technician did not show up well past the window of time that was promised and did not call ahead for me to tell him I was not home. It is a waste of both of our times.
I do feel the technicians seem to have an undue time constraint and are typically rushing through the treatment which is possibly the reason I seem to need a retreat more frequently than I used to have with my previous pest control company. Lyle took the time to really get every room and the outside and I hope this takes care of my issues once and for all.

This was our first introductory treatment. Amanda O was very knowledgeable and interested in doing a great job. She made an effort to go above expected to treat what was needed.
We were very pleased with her and like to request that she be the one to continue treating our home .

This was the 2nd service Ive had done. Tech did a great job, knocked down webs and sprayed thoroughly. Also mentioned a re-service was available should problems arise between the quarterly visits. So far very pleased with Aptive and have already recommended them to neighbors.

They were thorough, friendly and on-time. They don’t just spray but also get rid of any cobwebs, look for hives etc. I have been using pest control companies for 20 years and have never seen a company and employees as good as this one.

I was approached because they were completing services on my neighbor's home. I was given a substantial discount since they were already in the area (very smart marketing!). They had a technician there that day to spray my property. They were incredibly professional, quick, informative, and respectful of my home. I would definitely recommend!

Ryan did a great job! Not only is he personable but he is very very knowledgeable and comes across to us as being extremely competent. I would certainly recommend Aptive. We had an adjustment on a previous visit and they were extremely fair. Aptive is very well priced and a good value for the services that are provided.

The technician Wes was fantastic! He arrived at the scheduled time and explained everything he did. He discovered I don't have voles which is why I contracted with Aptive. He explained what I needed to do to cancel my service. I called customer service and Sam and Zach were very helpful. I didn't have any trouble canceling the service. I don't think the sales rep Jordan was too pushy, but I am surprised and disappointed that he didn't know the holes I showed him were not vole holes.

Aptive Environmental is great and we've used their service for a couple years now. We rarely have bugs around our house so that means they are doing their job. Their employees have always been great! The number to call to cancel the appointment though could be better. It's hard to get someone to cancel it. That was only one treatment we wanted canceled, and we'll continue to be a customer.

I used to live on a farm were wildlife often found it ways inside your house. This problem was usually solved by finding the creature and relocating it but other pests like mice simply needed to be permanently removed. Aptive Environmnet has many products that work effectively which is something that I learned from experience. I highly recommend them to anyone with a mouse problem.

Most servers have done exactly what we have requested and a few have gone beyond what they were asked to do and took a brush to all overhanging porches to get rid of any cobwebs which amazed us. We have not had any encroachment of bugs or scorpions since they have serviced us. We prefer treatment that is as natural as possible and we believe they have it right. Thanks for your service.

We had SOOO many bugs when we first moved into our little apartment in Provo. After Aptive came- bugs totally disappeared and didn't come back. I also found a ton of dead bugs outside on our porch/driveway a couple days after Aptive came and thought- wow... good thing I got pest control. I had NO idea how many bugs were living in my house. Yuck. The team is super good about coming back out if you aren't totally happy with the service.

BE WARNED...the sales representative over promised and Aptive undelivered. I called and text the sales representative several times and never received a call or text back. Was charged four times and provided service twice.
CANCELLED my service and Aptive said there is a $199 cancellation fee.
NOT RECOMENDING - APTIVE for you pest control needs.

I should have known when they knocked on the door. The service sucks. Totally ineffective. Can’t get anyone on the phone without waiting over an hour. No appointments available online. Our bug problem is worse 6 months in to the contract. Run to a local pest control company and stay far far away from this scam.

Please do not use this company. I signed a service agreement to handle a pesky Yellow jacket problem. The company did multiple treatments without any results, if anything it just made the hive angry. We called out another company and the Yellow jacket infestation was handled within 24 hours. Now upon attempting to cancel my agreement they are charging me a $199 cancelation fee.

They put in so much effort to not do their job. The first service was amazing, everything following has been like pulling teeth. I have to call them (roughly 2-3 times weekly) to get an appointment scheduled, and they don’t offer recurring appointments to be scheduled. When the technicians finally do come out they sweep spider webs so it “looks” like they did something and then leave. No spraying, no treatments, no anything. I have spiders/ ants/ stink bugs/ mice & rats/ etc. that I have taken care of by myself because Aptive can’t be bothered to do their job

I was with the company for a year didn’t see much improvement at all. They would schedule appointments. Send you a text. Never knock or call when they arrive. Anything they could do to avoid actually doing the work spray my front door and consider it work complete I’ve had enough in the day I canceled. I was charged early on my billing cycle when I advised the customer service representative. He told me we can come out and service at one more time but no refund was available. This place is a scam. Complete waste of money.

Used them for months saw no difference in them being here or not. Tthey missed a month without contacting me so I cancelled my plan they charged me over two months price to cancel. So it’s a company that will skip servicing your home charge you anyways and then charge you on the way out the door. If you wanna pay for four months of service to never see them a single time this is the business for you…..

SCAM!! They come spray and it does NOT work. Then when you've had several different sprays and it doesn't work, good luck canceling their crappy service. They charge you $199 to cancel. They expect you to hold up your end of the deal by paying the cancelation fee but they don't hold up their end of the deal by providing services that actually work.

I called in and canceled my service. I was still charged why. I called in and talked to someone waited on hold for 30 plus minutes to be told a manager would call me back in 10 minutes and reimburse my money. I never got a call back. I called back 1 hour later for someone to tell me I am not getting my money back and I would get a call back from a manager it’s the next day and still no call back. The call was recorded when I called in to cancel my service which I clearly stated i want to cancel my service.

I signed up for a one-time service. The technician came to my home and performed the service for exactly 14 minutes, which included 2 minutes of talking with me on at my front door. They proceeded to waive a wand around my yard and walk around the perimeter of my house. The service was completely ineffective.
This company has fradualent business practices. Do not use them.

If I could give less than one star I would. I have more bug bites than ever. They don't show when they say they do. I have ants, moles, tics, and mosquitos. They have not helped in any way whatsoever. Then you get a call and are told how they are going to help. But no one shows and when they do they focus on everything but what you wanted. They actually hung things to attract mosquitos where we play corn hole and volleyball. My old company never had to be called back. They came once a month and we had no issues.

This is a shit termites period. They are unprofessional, their poison doent kill cockroaches, they keep charging you month to month even though they don't appear at your place to do the service. There customer service doesn't have one single person to br in charge for the service. Other day I stay over an hour on the phone trying to resolve the problem. They overcharge you if you don't keep your eyes open and check your account.
They are awful. I tried to hire the Orkin company,I don't know why my call was directed to this shit company.
They're rats,not honest company.

I strongly advise against using Aptive Pest Control. Their products do not work — plain and simple. The mosquito treatment was completely ineffective. I noticed zero difference after the service, despite their promises.
Worse, I was quoted $800 for termite traps, which I agreed to only because I was told it included monthly inspections at $59 and that I could cancel at any time. That was a lie. When I tried to cancel, I was met with runaround excuses, hidden fees, and unhelpful customer service. They make it nearly impossible to get out of their contract.
This company will scam you with slick sales tactics, lock you into unnecessary services, and then provide cheap, ineffective treatments. You truly get what you pay for — and in this case, even that’s a stretch. Don’t fall for it.

The salesman that came to my door lied. Do NOT trust company. He stated that they sprayed for bees and I showed him where the area was. This was the main reason , I signed with the company. The salesman also told me the first application was free which it was not and I was charged. I contacted the company after the paper they left after treating did not state anything about treating the bee area, and was told that they do not treat bees. I explained what the salesman stated but was stilled charged. It is NOT an amazing company when they lie and then do not reimburse you. Their survey also ask if you were treated for bees/ wasps. Never sent me a receipt of the contract nor bill. Only the best rating show on their reviews.

I heard a very aggressive knock at my door, thinking it was a neighbor needing something, I immediately opened it. That was my first regret. I had the “pleasure” of dealing with someone who questioned if I was the owner of the home with a certain tone, didn’t introduce himself or ask me for my name and went into his whole song and dance without me getting a word in. I gave every hint that I was busy and needing to leave…out of the blue he asked if I’d want treatment today, even after telling him I’m already on a monthly payment with a different company. Upon telling him I wasn’t interested at this time, he didn’t thank me for my time and rudely left.
If you want someone’s business, I highly suggest you make someone feel appreciated and well informed…not rip their current decisions on pest control and act like it’s surprising that you’re in fact the home owner.
Try to be more Adaptive and less “Aptive”

I had the sales representative stop by my house on Saturday. He promised that the people would visit every month during the warmer months and less often when it go cold. He stated that they now spray three feet up from the base boards around the perimeter, and he stated that they spray at the top where they dust away the spider webs. When the tech showed up he presented the contract, the price quoted by sales covered nothing promised and the tech stated that none of the procedures I described were true. The sales rep said they prided themselves in communication and gave a big speech about it, but every word that came out of his mouth turned out to be false. If this is the Aptive way of trying to secure business, they are going to have trouble moving forward. The sales guy promises one thing, then the tech shows up a few days later and says "Hey, you forgot to go over the contract with sales. Here it is."... and then the paperwork is nothing what the sales team promised. Very dishonest. Luckily I was able to send the guy away before he did any work. This was in San Jose, CA on May 17th, 2025 when this all happened.

Very disappointed with customer service representative. Call in today to decide not to continue my service with Aptive Environmental. Well during call I was told I have to meet my 2-year agreement. My reply was I've had service with you for over 3 years. Only thing I ever did was call for a lower price. Which when I made this call I got locked back into a 2-year agreement apparently without my knowledge. Closed out my old account and started a new one. Further both the representative on the call and her manager told me I only had one contract with them the excising one. Manager boldly said give me the old account number then. Which they had no idea that they were talking with career Human Resources representative. I keep a copy of everything. Now once I read the old account number to them miraculously the manager had the ability to find my old account. Now this is after she Boldly told me she looks in all locations for my name, email address, and phone number. To add more insult after all this I still have to pay the penalty to leave a service I never signed up for again. Good luck, but after this today I recommend keeping copies of everything you can with Aptive Enviornmental.

The door-to-door salesperson who showed up at my home was overly pushy and took far too long to come to terms with the fact that I was not interested in signing a contract. My interaction with him (the most uncomfortable one I've had with a door-to-door salesperson) makes me completely uninterested in considering Aptive in the future. Some of his comments and questions were irrelevant, unnecessary, and as was the case with a previous reviewer (Danielle C), disrespectful towards women. When I made it clear that I don't make decisions like signing pest control contracts without discussing with my wife first, his response to attempt to get me to sign something immediately was "if there's one thing I know about the ladies, it's that they don't like bugs and they like a good deal", and "you have a mortgage and car payments, this is just pest control, man". At one point, he even asked me to go get my credit card, and no salesperson has ever said that to me before. Nor has any salesperson before this one ever asked me where I'm from. I understand that there's always going to be an element of pushiness with this sales approach and it can often yield success, but my honest feedback to Aptive would be to examine the potential detrimental impact going about this without sufficient tact can have on their business.

Aptiv had been overall hit or miss for us. We get some great technicians and service at times (recommend Sasha!) and other times the service has been really bad (technicians trying to come very late at night to do a treatement, missing appointments, being disconnected when on the phone line or long wait times). I hope the company rewards its good employees and continues to improve!

Our technician showed up at the time they said. Other than that it was subpar. The technician wasnt going to spray the inside of the house until I asked about it. They were vaping in the truck, ready to leave, I had to ask about the inside being done and the reply was “I wasn’t told to do it”, pretty lazy. He agreed to spray the inside after the request and proceeded to walk around with dirty boots and sprayed a foot above the baseboards, soaking our cabinets, dishwasher, and furniture. Overall really poor and minimal effort given which is disappointing based on the price we pay for each visit
