The Bad

  • Associated Fees
  • No Life Credit Experience

Associated Fees

Northern Arizona University allows students to take advantage of on-campus, satellite, and even online resources to earn their degree. With multiple platforms, cost for tuition and associated fees are a bit more expensive than other online programs. The cost per credit hour is $624 and the number of required credits for degree completion vary based on the program.

No Life Credit Experience

With the costs of tuition being so high, it would be nice to have the option of credit for life experience. However, NAU online does not offer this service at this time. That means if you have worked in a field that you are studying, you will not be able to use that knowledge to opt out of certain credits.
