Northern Arizona University is public university with the main campus located in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was established in 1899 and is classified as a public research university. They are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and they have been classified by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education as a high research activity university. Since its founding, Northern Arizona University has grown to accommodate a number of students. They have 36 satellite campuses and offer online programs. There are currently almost 30,000 enrolled students (27,715 undergraduates and 3,936 postgraduates). There are 900 full-time academic staff members and they are currently governed by the Arizona Board of Regents.
