Wide Selection of Window Styles and Materials

Window Nation offers an extensive variety of window styles, making it easy for homeowners to find the perfect fit for their home’s aesthetic and functional needs. Some of their most popular options include:

  • Double-Hung Windows: Classic and versatile, these windows are easy to clean and operate with their tilting sashes.
  • Casement Windows: These windows are hinged at the side and open outward, providing excellent ventilation and a modern appearance.
  • Slider Windows: Ideal for spaces with limited room for outward-swinging windows, slider windows provide a sleek, contemporary look.
  • Bay and Bow Windows: These multi-paneled windows project outward from the home, creating a larger view area and additional interior space.
  • Specialty Windows: Custom shapes and sizes allow for unique design opportunities, adding a distinctive architectural feature to your home.

Window Nation offers windows in various materials, including vinyl, wood, and fiberglass, each with different benefits in terms of durability, maintenance, and insulation. This diverse product lineup ensures that homeowners can find windows that suit their specific style and performance requirements.

Energy-Efficient Glass Options

Window Nation emphasizes energy efficiency across its window products, offering multiple glass packages designed to reduce energy costs. Their windows are equipped with Low-E (low-emissivity) glass coatings, argon gas fills, and double- or triple-pane glass, which help to insulate the home against heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. Many of their products meet or exceed ENERGY STAR® requirements, making them a great choice for homeowners looking to improve their home’s energy performance. The energy-efficient options provided by Window Nation can result in significant savings on heating and cooling bills, making them a smart long-term investment.

Competitive Pricing with Financing Options

One of Window Nation’s key strengths is its competitive pricing structure, which makes quality windows accessible to a wide range of homeowners. The average cost of Window Nation windows typically ranges from $500 to $1,500 per window, including installation. This price varies depending on factors such as window type, material, and customization options, including:

  • Vinyl Windows: $500 - $800 per window (including installation)
  • Wood Windows: $800 - $1,500 per window (including installation)
  • Fiberglass Windows: $700 - $1,200 per window (including installation)
  • Specialty or Custom Windows: Prices can exceed $1,500 per window depending on size and design.

These costs can vary based on the size of the windows, the number of windows being replaced, and local labor rates. It’s recommended that homeowners get multiple quotes from Window Nation to find the best deal for their specific project.

Window Nation also offers flexible financing options, allowing homeowners to spread the cost over time with affordable monthly payments. Financing options often include 0% interest plans for a set period, making it easier for customers to upgrade their windows without a significant upfront expense. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for homeowners looking to replace multiple windows at once or complete a large home renovation project.

Customization for a Personalized Touch

Window Nation’s windows are highly customizable, allowing homeowners to choose from various interior and exterior frame colors, hardware finishes, grid patterns, and glass types. This customization ensures that each window can be tailored to match the home’s architectural style and personal preferences. For example, customers can select different frame colors for the interior and exterior to match the design of different rooms or create a cohesive exterior look. This level of customization makes Window Nation a great choice for those seeking windows that align with their vision for their home.

Strong Warranty Coverage

Window Nation provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on most of their window products, covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty includes lifetime coverage for insulated glass units, ensuring protection against issues like seal failure that can impact energy efficiency and clarity. Additionally, the warranty covers hardware and vinyl components, providing peace of mind to homeowners about the long-term durability of their investment.

The warranty is also transferable to a new homeowner within a set period, typically 15 years from the date of installation. This transferability can be a valuable feature if you plan to sell your home, as it adds to the appeal for potential buyers knowing that the windows are still under warranty. Overall, the comprehensive warranty provided by Window Nation underscores their commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality.

Free In-Home Window Estimates

Window Nation offers free in-home estimates. A Window Nation exterior design consultant will come meet with you at your home to discuss your project and provide a quote for materials and installation. A Window Nation quote is good for up to six months after your estimate date.

The Bad

  • Higher Costs for Premium Materials
  • Regional Availability Limitations
  • Professional Installation Only

Higher Costs for Premium Materials

While Window Nation’s vinyl windows are priced competitively, their wood and fiberglass window options tend to be on the higher end of the price range. Homeowners seeking premium materials might find that their budget does not stretch as far, especially when selecting custom options like specialty glass or upgraded finishes. For example, wood windows can cost upwards of $1,000 to $1,500 per window, including installation, which may be a consideration for those looking for a more budget-friendly option. However, these premium windows do offer enhanced durability and aesthetics that can justify the cost for those willing to invest in their home’s long-term value.

Regional Availability Limitations

Window Nation operates in select states across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions, but it does not have a nationwide presence. This can be a disadvantage for homeowners outside of their service areas who may be interested in their products but cannot access them directly. For those living in areas where Window Nation is not yet available, finding a local dealer or alternative brand may be necessary. Additionally, in regions with limited Window Nation service, scheduling for consultations or installations may take longer, especially during peak renovation seasons.

Professional Installation Only

Window Nation’s windows must be installed by their professional team, which ensures proper fitting and performance but may add to the overall project cost. While this professional approach guarantees that the windows are installed correctly, it lacks the DIY flexibility that some homeowners prefer, especially those looking to save on installation expenses. Homeowners should consider this additional cost when budgeting for their window replacement project.

The Bottom Line

Window Nation offers a wide range of high-quality, energy-efficient window options that cater to different styles, budgets, and performance needs. With prices ranging from $500 to $1,500 per window, depending on the materials and customization, they provide competitive value alongside strong warranty coverage. Their commitment to energy-efficient solutions, customization options, and professional installation ensures that homeowners receive a tailored product designed for long-term satisfaction. While their premium materials can be pricier and their service area is regionally limited, the overall value and peace of mind provided by Window Nation make them a good choice for those seeking reliable, professionally installed replacement windows.

First, one of the windows was not measured and a random one was used until the correct one came it. Once it was in they put the window in too far and the window slammed down now. When I tried to call back it was nearly impossible to ahold of anyone. Once the install was done and the payments set. It’s like I never existed. Horrible customer service.

Loved how efficient and quickly they installed the windows, polite and cleaned after themselves I was told lifetime warranty on windows Well they never said I would have to pay 210$ for service call for them to come out and determine the problem:( My windows won’t latch unless I push the upper window up I have arthritis and find it difficult to do this, I can’t afford the $200 for the service call Wish they would have clarified that, I would have rushed to call them out before the year

Windows are nice, easy to clean. However, I was told there was somewhat insulated, which would make them somewhat soundproof not 100% soundproof but better than what I had, they are not. My old windows were better in that department as I have three dogs and every time they hear the kids outside playing in the parking lot they have a barking fest! It sounds like the kids are right in my house when the neighbor adjacent to me has people in her yard or driveway. It sounds like they’re in my house. I called regarding this and never got a response. I did highly recommend them to some friends and I took that recommendation back. should’ve gone with Andersen!

I found the windows to be great and they definitely made my house warmer. However, I had issues with the financing. I was misled about the interest terms and started accruing interest before installation. Despite reaching out for clarification, it was confusing. Overall, the product is good, but the financing experience was frustrating.

WN referrals, such as a company for replacement doors, did not provide a reasonable market quote for me. Also, this seems to be an unspoken issue known by WN sales staff. Referrals do not provide flexibility for different levels of product cost, nor in a quote for me include the WN discount $800. Wast of my time.

I had to call multiple times to get my patio door repaired, four times to be exact the same piece and was not offered anything for the inconvenience and it took forever for it to be serviced, especially this last time. It took months for it to be serviced.

Process was fine, installation is crew-dependent. Window Nation has installation crews that are “certified” but not all are the same. We had issues with our windows a month after installation.

The installation was great. But I have needed 2 repairs and trying to get service is horrible. I need another screen repaired and I dread calling because it will take at least 3 phone calls and a month to get repaired.

Window installation process went well and we love our new windows. Sadly, many of our brand new, “resilient” screens have significant holes in them and when going through the process/warranty to replace them, the cost for shipping/handling is is nearly $200 for 4 screens.

I had issues with leaky windows that let in air and rain during storms. The responses I received were unhelpful and didn't address my concerns effectively. I suggest they investigate this problem further.
