Wincore offers warranty coverage for the following window components:

• Vinyl components — Wincore vinyl frames and sashes are warranted against peeling, flaking, chipping, blistering, and corrosion for the lifetime of the product. This lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser as long as they reside in the home where the products were installed. It's important to note that this warranty becomes void if the vinyl is painted, stained, or altered in any way.
• Insulated glass units — Wincore insulated glass units are covered under a 20-year limited warranty. If a defect arises within this period, Wincore will provide replacement parts at no charge. After 20 years, the warranty becomes pro-rated, meaning the coverage decreases over time. Additionally, Wincore offers a 25-year Glass Breakage Warranty for certain series, such as the 5400 Series, where the company will send a replacement insulated glass unit or sash at no charge if the glass breaks within 25 years from the date of purchase.
• Hardware — Wincore hardware components, including locking mechanisms, fasteners, rollers, and balances, are warranted against peeling, flaking, blistering, rusting, and corrosion for the lifetime of the product. In the event of such defects, Wincore will provide replacement hardware at no charge.

Wincore’s window products are available nationwide through the company’s expansive supplier network. To find a supplier near you, you can initiate a search on the Wincore website. You’ll be required to fill out a form with your address and some other basic contact information. After submitting this information, you’ll receive supplier/builder recommendations based on your location.

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

Wincore warranties cover only manufacturing and material defects and do not include damages caused by improper installation, normal weathering, accidents, fire, flood, acts of God, vandalism, misuse, abuse, harmful chemicals, building settlement, or structural failures. Additionally, labor costs for removal or installation of replacement parts and shipping costs for returning defective products are not covered.

It’s also important to note that any window damage due to installation isn’t included in Wincore warranty coverage. In many cases, Wincore suppliers may offer workmanship warranty coverage, but you’ll have to confirm this with your specific supplier.

No Specialty Windows

While Wincore offers a variety of window customization options, including frame colors, grid options, etc., the company doesn’t offer any specialty window options, such as allowing you to customize your window shapes. For many customers, specialty window options aren’t necessary, as the common window styles available will meet most needs and preferences. However, if you’re looking for something very specific or unique, you may need to consider other window companies in your area.
