There are a number of metrics that determine a window's efficiency. The efficiency technology of Long Home windows break down as follows:

• R Value: The R value measures the thermal insulation, meaning it determines how cool a home will stay during the hot months and how warm the home will stay during the cold months. The higher the R value, the better. All Long Home windows measure between 5.6 and 7.1 which are some of the best readings in the industry.
• U Factor: The U factor determines how well heat is kept within the walls of the residence. In this measurement the lower the efficiency rating, the better the window performs. Long Home boasts an industry leading score of 0.13 in U Factor determinations. 
• Solar Heat Gain Coefficient: The SHGC measures how well the windows will keep out solar heat. Again in this area, the lower the measurement reading the better. The SHGC measurement of Long Home windows is 0.27, which is an industry-leading score.
• UV Transmission: The UV transmission score, more specifically, measures a window's ability to keep out UV light. Again the lower the score, the better. Long Home windows score a 0.46 in this area.

All Long Home windows are ENERGY STAR-certified and keep out an estimated 99.7 percent of UV light from the sun. The windows are also designed to provide insulation and noise reduction. Not all windows offer these capabilities because not all windows are infused with the same efficiency technology.

Warranty Coverage

Anytime a homeowner invests in a home upgrade project, like windows, ensuring that the products installed operate and look as designed for a long period of time is important. On all windows installed by Long Home, the customer will receive a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty will cover any associated costs of labor and materials. The "limited" portion of the warranty is associated with the owner that had the windows installed. The paying client will receive lifetime protection, but the warranty will change if the home is sold to a new individual. Protections are still in place, but limitations are associated in the event of a sale. That being said, for the paying homeowner, Long Home offers a comprehensive warranty. 

Financing Solutions

Rather than just provide clients with a quote that shows the cost of the service, Long Home is upfront with its customers about the entire scope of work. Homeowners will know down to the penny how much the entire project will cost. From there, interested clients can determine whether or not to pay for the project outright or utilize the Long Home financing options. 

There are different financing options depending on the budgetary needs and credit scores of individual customers. Long Home offers term loans, revolving lines of credit, and does not require any down payment to get started. Few providers in the window industry offer these same terms without requiring upfront payment.
