The Good

  • Window Solutions
  • High End Features
  • Installation Work
  • Financing Solutions

Window Solutions

Not all window installation providers offer the same services, or have the ability to install varying types of windows. Statewide Remodeling has worked to ensure that virtually any window need a homeowner could encounter, its professionals can seamlessly take on the project. Window solutions available through Statewide Remodeling include the following:

  • Vinyl Windows
  • Single-Hung Windows
  • Double-Hung Windows
  • Casement Windows
  • Picture Windows
  • Slider Windows
  • Bow Windows
  • Bay Windows
  • Awning Windows
  • Garden Windows

Virtually any window or opening in a home where a customer could potentially want an energy-efficient window product, Statewide Remodel will be able to take on the project. Not all installation teams are made equal, so evaluating what projects a company can address is something prospective clients need to take into consideration.

High End Features

So much of a home's temperature control depends on the efficiency of its windows. It is estimated that an average of 25 to 30 percent of temperature control is related to windows and how they are both made and installed. In warm states like Texas where Statewide Remodel operates, ensuring that heat and UV rays stay out are critical. That is why Statewide Remodeling only installs energy-efficient windows crafted to "resist the warping, cracking, and leaking" that other windows would not be able to withstand. High end features of Statewide Remodeling windows include:

  • Double and Triple Pane Glass
  • Low-E Glass
  • UV-Resistant Coating
  • Polyurethane Core
  • Fusion-Welded Frames

When looking to have new windows installed, clients should take into consider efficiency standards and technology as this will directly impact the comfort, look, and monthly energy costs of the home.

Installation Work

One of the benefits of working with Statewide Remodeling is the professional installation work homeowners get with its experienced and well-trained staff. The window professionals at Statewide Remodeling will ensure that the window is installed to perfection and maintains a high quality standard. When the Statewide Remodeling team gets to work on replacing windows, homeowners can expect them to:

  • Completely remove any existing window trim, casing, and the guide track
  • Take care of any maintenance or repairs to the window opening
  • Gauge the status of the window stop and repair if required
  • Professionally install the new window ensuring an airtight fit
  • Install insulation, trim molding, and extension jambs
  • Make any changes and apply finishing touches like painting, staining, or covering nail holes

This level of care and standard of workmanship is something homeowners should take into consideration when hiring a company to handle its new window replacement. The window installation team at Statewide Remodeling provides a high level of skill and care.

Financing Solutions

The financial aspect of any home improvement project is a contributing factor for interested clients. In fact for many homeowners, the financial aspect is what keeps them from having necessary work done to their home. Statewide Remodeling understands these concerns which is why it has launched its financing options depending on the service required. There are flexible financing solutions for homeowners in need of the following work:

  • Kitchen Upgrades
  • New Windows
  • Bath or Shower Services

For customers having new windows installed, clients will receive $1,500 off the installation. No interest will accrue for the first 48 months of the financing plan either. From there, clients can work with Statewide Remodeling to determine a payment plan that fits their budget.

The Bad

  • Service Area
  • Varied Warranties

Service Area

The area or number of homeowners a company can service are important to note for interested customers because a more "local" company like Statewide Remodel simply can not service the same number of clients as the national providers can. To date, Statewide Remodeling serves homeowners in the following states:

  • Texas
  • Arkansas
  • Oklahoma
  • New Mexico

While there are Statewide Remodeling operations in all four of these states, the company only services particular cities within these states. Interested clients will need to make sure that they reside within the Statewide Remodeling boundaries prior to seeking out the company's help.

Varied Warranties

The warranties on newly installed windows are something most customers are concerned with. After making the financial investment to upgrade windows, ensuring that they operate and look the way these products were designed is important. This is why most window providers offer warranties on the window products they install.

For the most part, window replacement providers will offer a standard warranty or will only work with manufacturers that have a certain level of protections put in place for the customer. With Statewide Remodeling, the warranty varies depending on what product the customer chooses. There are different warranties for each of the following manufacturers:

  • Kensington Glass (breakage and glass warranty)
  • ProVia
  • Restoration
  • Sunrise
  • SoftLite

In order to determine what is under warranty, each client will have to go to the specific warranty information of the product installed. Statewide Remodeling does not offer its own level of coverage and protection.

Statewide Remodeling offers full-service exterior and interior remodeling solutions to homeowners looking to improve the efficiency, functionality, and overall look of their home. Through Statewide Remodeling, clients can receive countless customized option for new window installation fitting any area of the structure. The windows installed by Statewide Remodeling are infused with advanced technology and efficiency capabilities meaning customers will receive some of the best window products on the market. The Statewide Remodeling team also understands the restraints the financial aspect of home improvement projects can place on a homeowner which is why there are a number of flexible financing options to choose from.

While there are a number of reasons to consider Statewide Remodeling for window replacement and installation, there are drawbacks to the operation that prospective customers should be aware of. The service area is relatively concentrated, only servicing clients in certain cities of four states. The warranties for its window work also vary depending on what product a client decides to have installed.

Considering all that Statewide Remodeling offers homeowners in need of new windows, those that live within its service area should consider its professional handiwork for window replacement.

Michael

Statewide Remodeling recently installed new windows throughout my home. However, I was disappointed to discover that they had installed the wrong windows. When I brought this to their attention, they denied any wrongdoing and even lied to Home Depot, who financed the project through my Home Depot credit card. The windows that were shown to me by their salesman were not the ones that were installed, despite the fact that I specifically requested the same windows that I had on my previous home. I even have documented and recorded proof that a supervisor from Statewide Remodeling came to my home and confirmed that the wrong windows had been installed, yet later denied this to Home Depot. Unfortunately, neither Statewide Remodeling nor Home Depot has offered a satisfactory resolution to this problem. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Statewide Remodeling as a trustworthy company, nor can I recommend using Home Depot's contractors.
