We needed labor only to move some of our furniture down the stairs, we are of the age where we just can't take risks, so we needed some young Alpha men to carry the load and it was Jacob's crew that did the work. They were in great shape, they were professional, polite, ready to work, they shrunk wrap everything to protect the wood. We were so happy we hired them. Their prices, I thought were reasonable and to me worth it. All I got to say is if you need labor, give them a call. We only had 6 or 7 pieces and they got it done less than an hour. I highly recommend this company. You won't regret it.

We are so incredibly grateful for Moving Ahead Services! They helped us with both a long-distance move from New Orleans to Cleveland and a local move within Cleveland—and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Scheduling was a breeze thanks to Tina, who made the logistics simple and stress-free. And Neshawn was truly outstanding! He met us in New Orleans, coordinated with a local crew to expertly load the truck with care and precision, and personally drove everything to Cleveland. Just two days later, with help from an amazing local crew in Cleveland, all of our belongings were safely delivered and unloaded into our new home. Everything was handled efficiently and respectfully, with no major damage to any of our items. The team was quick, professional, and thoughtful every step of the way. We will absolutely use Moving Ahead Services again and recommend them without hesitation—easily a 10/10 experience!

We did a multi-day move from Ohio to New Jersey. The movers loaded the truck, drove it there, and unloaded everything over 3 days. Overall everything went great, no real complaints. I did have to call back a few times with questions about the process, considering it was a complicated move, so I think some of the details can be made clearer up front. A couple of items received minor damage during drive (those Pennsylvania hills are tough for a big truck). They were pretty inexpensive things, not enough to make an insurance claim. But the Manager agreed to make things right for us and we agreed on an amount to reimburse us. I consider that good customer service!

The difference between going through a broker and dealing with a moving company directly is night and day! First, the price! Moving Ahead was a third of the cost of everyone else I called. Not only were Shane and Austin professional, friendly, efficient and considerate. They didn't waste any time and for a company that charges by the hour, their efficiency was remarkable. They moved 3 large fridges and 2 stoves up and down stairs, in and out of units and did it all in 45 minutes. They wrapped up everything to protect it from scratches measured all doorways to insure everything would fit. Great customer service tops off this experience. If you need a mover this is the company to hire.

Moving Ahead Services is EXCEPTIONAL!! From the efficiency with the initial estimate to scheduling, and completion of my move, Moving Ahead Services was efficient and professional on all levels. Matt, Chris, and Will were the men who managed my move and took great care of my office furniture and electronics. Matt also went the extra mile to disassemble and reassemble a large executive desk that required maneuverability (to be placed where I intended). It was something that would not have happened without his tenacity and commitment to my move. I would recommend this company to anyone!!!

Lucky for me, I found Moving Ahead Services. I live in an independent facility and am disabled. I found Moving Ahead and the thought of moving trinkets and hand me down furniture etc. and wrap and box then find the right driver - I was overwhelmed. But now I’m in good hands. They come out, assess the situation (they’re very nice to deal with). I can always get someone on the phone if I have a question. They wrap and pack. I got family hand me down and my place got over crowded. I’m going to wake up and be so happy to have room to negotiate, especially since I have trouble walking. I’d recommend them in an instant! It has taken a big weight off my shoulders. My brother checked out their facility and it’s perfect. Nice and clean with temperature control monitors to keep your stuff fresh and most importantly taken care of right. Their response is same day in my case which means so much when you need to get going and don’t have to wait. I would totally recommend to give them a try especially if you have medical conditions. They take care of everything. Fast, polite, responsive and overall nice to deal with.

Professional, careful with all of my Mom’s precious china, silver, and crystal. The packaging of my hobby horse was super. The team arrived on time, packaged everything up, loaded the truck and were off quickly and with so much care. They drove everything across country and arrived when the said the would. Then the team carefully unloaded the truck put everything into my prepared space, also carefully!! It was so great! Thank you again for all you did and by the way this all happened while I was organizing the move from Ohio to my home in Ca. Just perfect and by the way the price was super reasonable. This is a definite company to trust, rely on and refer to. Thank you again you made a very difficult move so easy and painless. And by thff egg way every body I worked with was polite and professional—such a great team.

Hired them to unload a 16' moving truck. Workers were absolutely great! Very hard working individuals and they were a pleasure to be around. Very respectful. Subtracted 1 star for being told over the phone the "fuel surcharge" would be $45, but was actually charged over $92! They're located 44 miles away! $92 would get me from here to Virginia, even at the current gas prices! However, I do bear some responsibility for not reading the quote they emailed me in more detail (which is why I only subtracted 1 star and not 2!). That being said, I would (and will) absolutely use them again - but I would most definitely negotiate that fee..

Their services were the best priced in Eastern PA which was an added bonus. I would say I wish our last move was our final move, but our current home is just a place to live until we are able to move to our forever home in the future. Moving Ahead Services did a fantastic job managing my move in April, 2024, and I highly recommend their services to anyone! The staff and movers were very friendly, personable, reliable, on-time, and took great care of all of my belongings. They even went the extra-mile to make an extra stop at a storage unit to gather additional belongings I had, and assisted with properly assembling a kitchen table and two (2) beds!
