Super friendly, great communicators, hard workers! Jake was willing to take on a rather unique job (moving a 300 pound, 150yr old, stone baptismal font; from one end of the sanctuary to the other). The parish is really thankful Jake and team were able to get the job done well and in good cheer, especially after being turned down by all the other moving companies we reached out to about the job..

We just used Jake’s for moving our home to both a storage unit and some to our temporary housing. As promised, they arrived promptly at 7am with 4 guys and 2 trucks. They loaded one truck for storage and the other for our housing and were very conscientious about what went where. My husband was there to “direct traffic” of our goods but they were great. They took care with our furniture and goods. Done loading and unloading by noon and our price quote was spot on. Thanks again to Jake and his crew!

We were downsizing and had a lot of items I was working to donate, Jake’s works with many agencies and sent a separate truck for all those things for donation. They also had reusable tubs for rent so we did not need to buy or look for packing boxes. The day of moving went so smooth, the moving crew were efficient, polite, and got the job done. I would strongly recommend this company!

We used Jakes Moving & Storage when we moved in August 2025. The group of guys who helped with the move very efficient and professional!! They were very respectful and careful with our furniture. Jake’s moved a couch for me, it was raining and they covered the couch so it wouldn’t get wet. It was a late afternoon/ evening move which Jake’s accommodated. The guys were really nice and did a super job.
