First class moved is from Florida to Illinois and they really were first class. Everything arrived in perfect condition, they were courteous and very careful.

First Class exemplifies an excellent company who do an excellent job of packing up our previous home and delivering and unpacking our belongings for our new home.

We just moved from FL to PA and had a great experience. We were not tight for time which helped with timing. The price was fair. The driver was fabulous and the helpers were so careful with our things. We had an experience where they pushed my new dressers along the floor of the truck, I was so impressed with how much care they took with our heavy antiques and never once did I worry about damage. Would definitely recommend.

First Class accomodated every aspect of what was a complicated move that involved coming in and packing things after we had already left, picking up from two locations with smaller, shuttle trucks, reloading it all onto a big rig, then having to deliver it all to two different locations, again, in a smaller shuttle truck, which is no easy feat. As with any move, there were some unexpected surprises and things that had to be contended with along the way, but I can’t say enough about the crew who transported every single one of my earthly belongings across an array of states and delivered it all with such good cheer, competence, helpfulness and attentiveness. My thanks go out to them — Lazlo, Jose (aka “Papi”) and Mikey — for making something as fraught as a big move into such a positive experience and dealing with anything that came up along the way with great attitude and problem-solving skills. The delay we experienced due to a mechanical issue worked out to our benefit in the end, so don’t sweat the small stuff. Laszlo certainly didn’t and we just can’t say enough about them. They worked tirelessly with good cheer and genuinely like working together — all of which made an incredible difference and left everyone on our end with big smiles on our faces which is something you don’t expect to be wearing after going through one of life’s more trying ordeals. They took care of everything and magically made making a major geographical move into a memorably happy experience. They also became local celebrities here, astonishing everyone by getting their trucks in over some notoriously precarious hills. They deserve kudos all around! I shouldn’t fail to mention how I wound up choosing North American. I had used them over a decade before to move to their home base of Florida from up north and also had nothing but praise for the people involved in that move and North American as a national company. After all of the stories of awful things happening with peoples’ things going missing, being held to ransom or disappearing or being destroyed, I decided to get quotes from two additional companies, because my move was complicated and involved not only all of the logistical complexities mentioned above, but transporting a Sleep Number bed, a car, some large paintings and a rather heavy incumbent stepper and sleep recliner. The first company told me that they didn’t transport vehicles and didn’t KNOW how to break down Sleep Number beds, so I would have to find other people to do those things on my own. I felt the move spiraling out of control already. Steve Gates arrived on time and presented in a very professional manner and dress that we haven’t seen in a very long time. He asked questions about the details of my move and told me First Class had people to do all of these things — disassemble the Sleep Number bed, crate the art and ship the car — and all of it would be included in their price quote and not to worry about all of the difficult logistics I outlined of how my dream move would unfold, that they would take care of everything. The third company (which advertises extensively on TV, widely promoting the safety aspects of their services) said they could also take care of all of these things for me, but their quote came in at DOUBLE what First Class’s was, while the other company, was 30% more expensive without the car or the bed. In fact, First Class/North American’s quote was only $1,200 higher than my move with North American 11 years ago, even though I have twice the stuff now and a much bigger car and art to be crated — astonishing! Amazingly good value for the money and expertise, so, of course, I went with them and I hope you will, too!
