Nationwide has been striving to help members protect what’s important since 1925. With over 90 years in the business, Nationwide has been through the thick and thin and knows how to best care for its customers. Not only does Nationwide work with personal insurance, investments, retirement, banking, borrowing, and life events, but it also works with business insurance policies, benefits, banking, borrowing, and education.
Though you may not ride your motorcycle as much during the winter, that does not mean that it should not be insured. What if it were to get damaged while being stored for the season? With year-round rates, you can make sure that your bike is taken care of 365 days each year.
Nationwide wants to help you save money and offers a number of benefits and discounts to do so. For example, those who hold a 12-month policy can receive deductible benefits.
Nationwide offers discounts for members who meet one of the following conditions:
Nationwide provides seven types of coverage in its basic insurance coverage policies:
If you would like to add additional coverage options to your insurance policy, Custom Equipment, Roadside Assistance, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Endorsement options are available.
One other perk with Nationwide is the “Vanishing Deductible.” Each year that you drive safely without any accidents or claims, you get $100 credited to your deductible.
One of the drawbacks to using Nationwide to insure your motorcycle comes during the claims process. When you have spoken with an agent and they have given you a quote of what they think you may get for the bike if it has been damaged or totalled, you can’t lock-in this amount and be assured that you will receive that amount in the end. Nationwide reserves the right to adjust the amount that it feels the bike is worth regardless of what a local shop or the manufacturer might say. If this deters you, you may want to look for a different company.
