This company would send me a letter monthly to verify if I had flood insurance. I complied every time. They went ahead and placed a flood insurance policy and charged me$2,000. I have had to hire an attorney and still, no resolution. So, now they sent a letter stating that I must change flood insurance companies. They are the WORST! Buyer beware!

Unbelievable! These people are crooks. My loan was sold to them and they instantly double billed our PMI and are trying to defend it even though I have all the documentation to prove it! STAY AWAY from this company! As a bonus,, customer service put me on hold twice and hung up on me.

While everyone that I've spoken to is nice, no one can help me. I signed a Modification Agreement twice, and both times they didn't process it, giving me new bogus reasons each time I call. They have reported me to the credit bureaus in error, they just don't care! All I want is for them to process the paperwork they have!!

They want you to wire transfer the $165 recording fee (120% of the actual recording fee) to them even if you have paid off the loan. You can't just pay the $165 through ACH transfer on your Freedom Mortgage online account. And the operator said that wire transfer is the only way to prove that you actually paid. What kind of reason is that!

Very poor customer service. Hard to get someone to talk to. They have a message option on their website that they NEVER respond to. They harass you about increasing your homeowners insurance through their company when you already have one and use such tricks as it has expired when it hasn't. I was transferred to them from my previous loaner.

Run as fast as you can! Nothing can be done online. The Customer Service Reps have no service skills and haven’t ever been able to help. When I finally decided to refinance I chose a different company because how hard it is to work with anyone. Now I am fighting them to actually get a payoff statement, holding up my refi.

I changed insurance companies and now pay half of what I did, however my escrow went up! They misplaced funds I payed into my escrow. Claim to fix it and don’t. Do not return calls. Now despite sending several pre-approved notices for cash out refinance, they denied us. Good riddance!

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with a VA refinance. They could not get our names correct. Took 6 weeks. Closing attorney FREEDOM MORTGAGE hired couldn't print the closing documents and didnt notify us until 90 minutes AFTER time scheduled for closing. I will move our mortgage ASAP.

Do not trust this company. They will buy your mortgage then ask you to refi and promise it will cost nothing and that they don't want to lose you as a customer. You keep saying nothing is free and they keep saying they don't want to lose you as a customer. You finally go along with it and low and behold they swindle you out of $3200. Stay away - if they buy your mortgage refi to a new lender. Run.
