I have used Paypal for over a decade now and slowly it has gone downhill. Personally I haven't had any issues, but Paypal increasing their fees, constantly updating their UI (which stays buggy) and endless stories of withholding people's money for no reason makes me irritated and nervous sometimes. It's an easy service for the most part, but I feel like I'm walking on eggshells a lot when using them.

I use my PayPal debit card and PayPal account for almost everything. My only quibble is that you cannot dispute a transaction or cancel a subscription on the mobile app, you have to log into the full website.

I really like their app and that you can easily pay your friends and family. However, I really don't like the fees and how long the money takes to get to you! I missed out on one dang good shopping trip because of Paypal.

I have used PayPal many times, and it's always worked great. It's easy and quick to setup, and I love not having to re-enter my card number every time I'm buying something on a new website. Super convenient!

I love using PayPal online. It makes it so much easier for me to trust that my credit card information isn't going to get stolen by some random person who will spend it on heaven knows what. I instantly trust a site that much more when I see that they use PayPal. I have never had any issues with it, and doubt that I ever will.

Wish they wouldn't charge to send money to a contact in your contact list that uses PayPal. They are making so much money off of us just to transfer to another PayPal user. I have emailed the customer service department multiple times and they are little to no help.

The times when I had to call them I received bad customer service and wasted my time trying to get my money back from an unreputable vendor who never delivered a product I bought. The only positive I can highlight is that they haven’t ruined Venmo who they bought just yet.

I'm not sure I understand PayPal very well. Their login is confusing and I feel that I get so many emails from them that seem like they have been hacked or they are trying to get information they don't need. I never respond and don't use their service anymore.

I have had a lot of good experiences with PayPal. However , my sister had had nothing but trouble. A few months ago she was scammed and has had to go back and forth with them for the last 5 months. They have made her feel like she was lying when she has substantial proof that the package she was supposed to receive was never delivered. Letters from her bank, the post office, and any other documentation they have requested. But they still have not resolved the issue. It has been a long and drawn out process and I have not been impressed with their service.
