I'm becoming a senior citizen and I walk a lot by myself. So, if something were to happen to me where I needed help, I needed to have something to get help. It was also in part to ease my daughter's concerns about me since she usually works at the time I take my walks. So, I just looked things up online and they were actually the first ones I checked out. Since I just needed to get something quickly, I bought it. When I called to purchase the thing, the person that I dealt with had a lot of information and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He was very helpful. Everything is up in my room and I wear everything all the time. Thankfully I haven't had to use it. There's a lot of other services out there that are a lot cheaper than them, but at this point I think I'll stick with them.

The hospital sent them to us. We tried a lot to convince the person that wears it to actually use it. It wasn't until he fell and broke his arm that we started wearing it. It's just a life saver. They call us when he presses it by accident, so we know that it works if he ever needs it. They're very good, it's a comfort to have it.

My daughter researched it and said they looked like the best ones out there, so we got it. I only really have it with me when I'm in the shower or if I go out for a walk. If I'm in the car driving by myself I take it with me too. They've been very good so far. When I test the button they answer quickly. They're just prompt.

At the time I was falling over a lot and would need to call 911 to get help for myself. In fact, before I got it, I fell and had to spend several days in the hospital. My family decided that I needed to have a medical alert thing, just for extra security, so they got this one. I haven't had to use it since getting it. My only concern right now is that I don't think the device works that many miles away from my home. It mostly works while I'm close to home.

My mother uses it since she lives some 30 miles away from our house. I got a call from them once telling me that my mother had pressed the button and four minutes later when they came and picked her up. Apparently they also called her and asked her if she needed help. After she said yes, they sent out help. I know she is safe with them.

My daughter in law checked on them and she was the reason why I decided to get involved with them. I wear the watch rather than the necklace. I'm not really happy with it since the button is very large. The band where the button is on actually broke, so now I'm having to deal with that and carry the thing in my pocket. It's not very good at all. I haven't had the need to use it but whenever I test it they've been very pleasant.

The service was recommended by a friend. I've never had to use it, but I always wear it. It's a good unit, I never had problems with it. Every time I call them with questions, or when I check the unit once a month, they're very good. Their customer support is very friendly.

A big factor in my decision was the fact that it had GPS capabilities, which means that I'm not limited to just being in my house. I really haven't had an occasion to use it, but I've tested it before. At one point we ran into a problem with the box thing and they sent me another one the following day to replace it. After that I was able to just send them back the other equipment. I was very impressed with their overnight service. The one problem I've found is that if I try and call them on the regular phone it takes a long time before they answer. On one occasion, after someone actually answered, that person ended up transferring me to someone else.

I use it a lot since my hearing has diminished a lot. They have responded well and when somebody calls me I can have the information right on the screen. Whenever I've had a problem, somebody has been able to respond to me right away.

We've had no trouble with them and price-wise it's ok. I always make sure that my wife has it on when I have to leave the house. They advised us to do a test once a month or so and we do just that. They always respond within a minute of us pressing it.

The price was ok when we looked at it and since the call button looked nice I just got it. I haven't had to use it thank goodness, but I just wear it if I'm doing something that's very heavy duty or when I go outside. I try to test it every now and then. When I do that they come right up and respond within a minute. I'm confident that they can handle any emergency that might come up.

The doctor recommended I get it, so I did. I haven't had to use it, but I hit it by accident when I was at the store. They responded very quickly even though it was a mistake. They were also very helpful. When I needed to have one of my bracelets replaced they were really good about that too.

I looked up the best companies for this and they came up as number one, so I called them and got it. The only time I've used it was when it went off accidentally. It was a false alarm, but they still were there very promptly and checked on me to make sure I was ok. I haven't had any problems with them.

through no missuse or abuse on my part, have a cracked portable safety pendant. It does work, but company won't replace it unless I pay for it. There is a deffect by manufacturer and I feel it should be replaced with no cost to me since I did not break it.

On two occasions I accidentally pushed the alert button. Immediately a voice asked if I was alright and that I didn't need any help. What more can you ask of a medical alert .. it did exactly what it was supposed to do which gives me confidence that should I need help....I can count on it.

The GPS system was what convinced me of getting it for my mother. She has it on at all times since she lives alone. It gives her some security to know that if she needs someone, she can just push the button to get help. The biggest complaint she had was that the button is kind of big and gets in the way. The support we got from the initial set up was great, though I have not had the best support online.

I picked it for my mother based on online reviews. Customer service is always very responsive to any questions we have. It's always easy to get a hold of them and they answer quickly. The technology seems to be up to date, it doesn't fail or anything. We test it every month to check it and we've seen no problems. Having it makes us feel safe.

I got it as a gift from my daughter since I live on my own. The button is easy to use. I have the wrist band on me everyday. When summer time comes I may switch to the necklace since I don't want it to show too much. I tried calling them and it took quite a while before I could get through to someone. I just wanted to check on the button because one of the lights came on, but I didn't know why. It took a good 15 minutes before I got a response.

I decided on it because I could take it with me, I didn't have to have it just in the house. The necklace the one you put around your neck, that got of twisted and I couldn't untwist it so I had to cut the necklace part off and I that way I have to carry it around in my pocket. I can access them quickly, its easy to use.

They were the simplest company to go with. Customer service has been responsive when I call them with questions. Typically I wear the button when no one's at home or if I'm going some place by myself. Though there are times when I'm not sure if the button is working.

I'm 84 years old and I'm retired, so on a typical day I don't do much. Since I live alone, having it keeps me in touch with my medical people and my doctor. If I got to go to the hospital, all I have to do is push the button and they'll get me an ambulance out here quickly. Whenever I need to get in touch with them they're always courteous and get me good information.

Initially the service was purchased as a gift for my husband but he has since passed away. We did use it to call an ambulance for him when we needed it. They were extremely fast and took no time in sending an ambulance over. They didn't ask any questions, they just sent them out.

I live alone and have a chronic disease that can make me unconscious if my blood pressure gets too low. Because of that I wanted to have something to protect myself with in case I'm on the verge of collapsing and can't reach my phone. Luckily I haven't had to use it, but the service has been good. I think it's a pretty good system, it doesn't need to be tied to a phone line. Instead it's all wireless so I can take it with me anywhere I go. That's good.

I was referred to it by my neighbors. I have not had to use it, except to test it that is. It takes forever when I try to contact somebody if I'm calling customer service. I've called their office and sat on the phone for 20 minutes before I got an operator on the other side. All I kept getting was 'call volume is greater than expected please hold, please hold.' After that though they were very cooperative.

I was with another company before but I just didn't like their rates at all. I started researching and came up with Medical Guardian, so I switched to them. They take about the same time to answer the alarm as the other company, which is a good time. The only concern that I have about the device is the necklace button that you push. It's all very nice but if it gets misplaced it's almost impossible to know where it is. When I talked to someone about that problem, no one offered any suggestions to improve the situation with it. It wasn't good customer service.

I looked on the internet at the different ratings and since they were pretty highly rated I got it for my mother. We haven't had to use it for anything other than the initial testing. I think there could be some more features built into the basic units, like the fall detection, but it turns out you have to upscale and pay extra for those features. It'd be nice if they came as standard for the units. Still, it's a comfort to have it for my mother.

I just needed one so I looked up different services and chose this one. I had to use it once after I had just had a knee replacement surgery. I had gone downtown to pick something up when I lost my balance and fell. I hit my head and couldn't move, so I just laid on the floor. Since I had my necklace on I just went and pushed my button. They answered right away and sent help really quickly. A while ago they called me and I asked them how far the necklace could reach since I keep the base in my bedroom. After talking they said they would send out a little hand held thing that had a bit more range. I asked the person how much that would be and he said $10, but he never said if that was a one time payment or if it was a monthly charge. I asked again but he never really responded to my question. When I got my bill it was a total of $90. It was then that I figured it was a monthly charge...

I usually wear it when I'm around the house since I live by myself. The one I have is really only good for when I'm within my house or around the yard, I don't have the nationwide whatever thing. Still, anytime I'm out I'm usually with friends so I don't have any problems with that. I haven't needed to use it, so I don't really know how fast they'll answer if I need to call them. Still, I have it in case something does happen to me. That way I can push the button and hopefully somebody will come out and help me. It's a handy thing to have.

The price seemed to be just right and the product itself seemed to match what we needed, so we got it. I haven't had to use it for an emergency yet, but I wear it everyday. The button is small and works pretty well and the battery life of both the button and the speaker seem ok. Customer service is pretty good too. There have been some false alarms though, mostly because the button hangs too low and gets pushed against the counter.
