I got it for my mother who is 97 years old. At that point she was living alone, so she would use it if she had an emergency or if she was frightened. Sometimes she had to push the button twice in order to get someone to answer the phone. I'm not sure if that was something to do with the service or the technology, but they just never answered on the first ring. We had to push twice every time. Still, they were there when we needed them.

I'm mostly by myself so after I had a stroke I decided I needed to have something to get help if I needed it. It's a handy thing to have, I can use it to get in touch with someone if I need to. It's a really good thing to have if you are by yourself like me.

I think I got it after seeing an advertisement for it somewhere. I pay $35 a month for the service, which is reasonable. Thank God I haven't had to use it too many times. On a typical day I don't normally go out of the house, but I wear it. I could need it any time of the day since I'm 90 years old. The one time I needed it, somebody came out and helped me get back up. The only complaint that I really have is in regard to the button. When I press it, it seems to take them some good time to respond and talk to me. It's not long enough for me to worry, but it makes me a bit anxious.

I got it because I'm 90 years old and I live alone. I had to use it one time when I fell out in the yard. I wasn't sure if it was going to work because I was really far away from the base, but it worked out fine. I haven't had any trouble with it.

I chose them because they had high ratings and I thought they were qualified for the job. I test it every now and then but I have to push the button 2 or 3 times before I get an answer. It's also not loud enough when they answer. I'm still satisfied with the service they give me though.

I chose them because I didn't have to have a landline to use it. When my mother fell and couldn't get back up, she had to press the button. My family was called and we went into her house to pick her up. It worked very well and they were very professional and thorough.

I haven't had to use it for anything other than a routine monthly check. The representative that responds is always courteous, knowledgeable, and always get back to me fairly quickly. I do think they could improve on the speed a bit, but other than that it's all good. I wear the band on my wrist. Since the button is small, it's easy for me to handle it and carry it around anywhere I go.

At night there's someone with me, but during the day I'm on my own. I couldn't be by myself after I had 3 heart attack and a stroke, so I got this. I haven't had to use it but I feel a lot safer now staying here by myself. I know they are available in case I need them. I'm happy with what I have and the price that I'm paying for it.

I am 76 years old and have an acre of land that I take care of. When I'm out collecting walnuts, almonds, or just doing anything out there, I make sure to have it on me in case I fall. The equipment is easy to use and whenever I check it they are quick to answer.

I signed up with them 2 years ago. I think they were the most responsive company when I called, other places took days to get back to me. Since then I've only really used it once but things went fine. I'm a bit disappointed because no one followed up with me afterwards to make sure that everything had gone well. Other than that, I don't think they're using the best technology. It's just hard to hear them from the unit.

My daughter decided to get it for. I wear my button all the time. I needed to use it once when I was out in the yard. I hit the button but when the thing just fell apart and broke. I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet.

I've had to use it one or twice and we've had quick responses as far as I know. Once I just fell unconscious and, next thing I knew, I was in an ambulance on my way to the hospital. They seem to be very nice people and they do what they're supposed to do as far as I know. I haven't had any problems with it and have gotten good results. I guess it could always be cheaper though.

I got it since I really needed the protection at home. I've had to use it a couple of times. On one occasion I fell and broke my hip, a different time I fell when I was getting out of a cab. Both times they were prompt and courteous when they responded and did a good job. They've taken good care of me.

I will put it on in the morning and whenever I get up at night. I always make sure that it's charged before I go to bed and keep it by my bed on a table. When I need it, I just push the button and talk to the person that answers. It always works for me and does that it's supposed to do. The only thing is that I keep rolling over it and triggering the alert unintentionally. I don't know if there's anything they can do about that.

I switched from a different company to Medical Guardian. I haven't fallen down or anything but so far I'm very happy with it. The only problem that I have is with the wristband, it's too big. I actually had to punch extra holes in it to tie it down and around my hand. The service is also a little pricey.

I fell on the floor once and was there for quite a while. I didn't think I could get back up on my own, so I pushed the button. Everything turned out well. They were here really soon and helped me get back up. They were very alert and called the people they were supposed to call. I think it's all working well.

We've had several services before that we didn't like. We decided to try this one and so far we've liked it better than the rest. When we need it, we get help quickly. Basically, all I need to do is push the button and the people come on right away and send out the emergency squad. One thing I don't particularly like about the device is the light that shines from it. It's on all the time and since we have it in the bedroom we have to angle it so it doesn't bother us at night.

I've had it for 2 or 3 years now but I've never had to use it. When I first got started and registered, I scheduled my payment to start on a certain date but there was a bit of a mix up. I just contacted them and someone got it straightened out for me.

Their system seemed to be the best at the time, that's why I picked it. I've fallen once since I started using it. They sent out somebody for me and things worked out well. The main reason I'm not very pleased with the service is the system itself. There's too much weight on the buttons and it's too much to be carrying around. Since carrying it in my pocket or belt is not really an option for me, it's very cumbersome. I also found out fairly recently that it's a little more expensive than some of the other medical alert systems out there, including the ones that have fall protection.

We received some information about them and since it looked like a good deal we went ahead and got it. My son insists that I wear the device on my neck all the time and I try to do that since I have a tendency to fall a lot. I can be walking along or sitting down and I'll just fall over. It can happen at any given time. I just have a balance problem, I guess my brain is not hooked up right to my legs or something. I've had a number of falls both around my house and also while I'm out in different places. Just in the last month I've fallen 3 times. Last Friday I fell and broke my toe but I was able to get to the doctor alright. One time when I needed to use it they weren't really quick, but they got here. They got to me and took me to the hospital in case there was some damage because of the fall. Actually, my son was the one that called them with it, so I'm not sure how quickly they answered the call. Still, I know that with the device I can get help very quickly whenever I fall. All I have to do is punch the button and I'll get a response. The only imitation I've found is that I have to be in or near the house for it to work. It's also a little expensive. We're on a very low income so I can't afford a lot of the bills that come from the hospital.

Everything has been fine for me so far. Most of the time I don't even realize that I'm wearing the thing. Sometimes I even forget to take it off when I go out since I have to carry the GPS thing instead. I haven't really had to use it but I have bumped it by accident. The only thing is that last August my husband passed away so I called to check on the premiums that we were paying. One thing I don't like is that it frequently goes off without me even touching it. I'd be taking snow off the car roof, slamming the garage door close, or doing something like that, and the alarm will go off. It's driving me nuts. I was shopping the other day when that happened. I didn't even know it that they were trying to call me. The most upsetting thing is that they call my daughter and son in law and then send an ambulance to get me. I mean, I still think it's a wonderful service, I just don't know what to do about that.

I had my leg amputated and spent some time in a nursing home. When I first came home after that, I was getting out of bed and fell. I picked up my Medical Guardian, pressed the button, and they answered right away. They sent out the police officers to help me up and that was that. I have it in the counter charging all the time so it's always ready.

I did a lot of research beforehand and since they were highly rated I picked them. Less than a month ago I had to use it when I fell out in the yard. They got me to the hospital, but everything worked very well. They met my needs right away. The only thing is that the battery on the device doesn't last very long. I have to put in a new battery way too often. I also wish I could take it with me on vacations or when I travel.

I had to use them once while I was in the shower. I got dizzy and fell in there, so I called. When the woman came on the line I kept telling her that I was laying on the bathroom floor, but she couldn't hear me. Later on they transferred me to another man that could hear me and that called my fianc' to get me up, but I had to wait an hour on the floor for them to do that.

My daughter picked it up because of the cost I think. One time I fell down and had to drag myself to the base unit to press the button because mine didn't work. It took them a while to get to the phone, the machine kept saying call in progress, but when I finally got them on the line they sent someone out for me. I called them afterwards to see why the button hadn't worked and they sent out a new one right away. The price is very high, especially considering that calling 911 would've been just as fast.

I didn't decide to get it, my daughter did. She has been on the medical field for quite a while and she was the one that found them and decided to go with them. I had a different system that just wasn't as good as Medical Guardian has been. I used it once and they were here promptly and took me to the emergency room. Though...I'll have to leave the service at the end of the year because I'm moving to a different facility. They have their own medical alert system there.
