I tried a couple other companies and I never got the service that I thought I was supposed to get. Medical Guardian has been great though. It's always with me and it's easy for me to use it and wear it all the time. Every time I've called them with a problem or something they've always been quick to respond. They always resolve my problems. I feel safe and comfortable knowing that they are there for me, I'm glad I found them.

The fact that it didn't require a landline and that it was available anywhere on the country convinced me of getting it. Thank god I haven't had to use it, but on a typical day I get up in the morning and put the neck piece on. I keep it on all day and take the little unit with me when I go out. At night I put the watch type band on and I wear it when I shower and when I go to bed. I haven't had any issues with it, it's a very easy to use system, it's very convenient too.

My daughter got it for me. I think she was pretty pleased with everything about them and that's why she got it. It really takes the button a long time to get fully charged. When the red light comes on I put it on the charger and it takes about 3 hours for it to be working again. If something were to happen while it's charging, then it'd be useless. Still, even though it's not perfect I'm pleased with it. I just called them because I lost the button that goes around my neck when I went to Florida, not sure when it happened. They're sending me a new one since I prefer using that one over the bracelet. That one makes me break out.

I researched the various different companies, and fairly routinely, Medical Guardian was one of the top two. When I looked at the equipment needs that I had, it really did seem like it was all a best summed up with Medical Guardian's offerings. They always seem to be knowledgeable and pretty straightforward. It's a good value, so I would recommend them. I've only tested it around the house to make sure it works, and it seems to work fine. I've not had to use it away from the house yet.

I had another medical alert system, but I needed something that works through my telephone line since I get no cell phone reception in my apartment. Medical Guardian works through my land line, and that's why I chose it. There was at least one experience where I had them call me right away. I think I hit something by mistake; I wasn't testing it, but they answered right away and I said I was fine.

Our son did the whole thing. Talking one day he just said that we needed some extra help and he signed us up for it. Don't get me wrong though, we're happy with it. We really haven't talked with customer service much. They were a great help when we were setting things up. Either of us wears it while we're in the house or whatever. It's a handy thing to have, you can have it close by all the time. I couldn't be happier with it.

I had another system that I was unhappy with, so when I saw them advertised on the paper I decided to go ahead and call them. I'm very comfortable with it. I use the GPS system and the button that goes around my neck. I also have that one on my bed post at night just so that it's right there if I need it. It's very convenient. I check in with them every month or so and I've been satisfied with how those go. Outside of that though I really haven't had to call them much.

I did some research for my mom and they came up as one of the best services out there. Their customer service has always answered any questions we've had. She had to use it after we moved from her house to a condominium. She fell and immediately used the button to get help. They responded quickly and things have worked so far. Price-wise they're pretty fair, especially when compared to other services.

I have six children that all come and visit me to make sure that I have my medicine and everything. Other than that though, I live alone with my cat, so I feel safe having it here. I don't have to worry if there's a problem, I can just call the police right away without needing to use my phone. I used it once when I fell and couldn't get back up by myself. They called the police department and they came and helped me out of my problem. Since I had the key lock, they didn't have to break the door down to get in. I feel safe with it, I don't have to worry about anything.

I saw their ads on paper and on TV, so I chose them. Fortunately we haven't had to use it yet. There haven't been any emergencies in the 6 months or so that we've had it. We've tested it and haven't run into any malfunctions or anything of the sort. It all seems to be working ok. One time we had a false alarm and they contacted us according to the instructions that we gave them. I was happy about that. They are always very cooperative and explained to me how the whole system works.

My niece got it for me since I'm 81 years old and I needed something in case I fall or if I run into any trouble. I'm still getting used to it. I wear the necklace and since I'm very tall it just hangs at the wrong height. When I lean over the washing machine or something it goes off on its own. That also happens if it happens to hit the counters. Still, I think it's a great thing to have. Every time it has gone off, it only takes a couple of seconds before somebody answers to our call. I feel that it's there to help me prevent any accidents.

I just got information about these kinds of services at a local hospital and just knew that I needed to get one. When it came time to pick, I just chose them. I like that I can wear the bracelet in the shower since it's water proof. Usually I wear the necklace all day long while I'm in the house. It just makes me feel more secure. One time while I was working out in my garden I accidentally mashed the button several times. They called in to check if I was okay and if it was a real medical emergency. I got a very good response, I was pleased with that.

My daughter did the research and decided this one met my needs the best, so she got it for me. The biggest advantage it has over other ones is that I can take the station part with me when I'm away from home and it will still work. I carry it with me when I walk out to get things from my mailbox or whenever I go anywhere. When I go to the basement my kids keep reminding me that I should take it with me as well. I haven't had any problems with it yet. It's also affordable.

My daughter gave this to me. I've never had to use it, but it's there in case I ever need it. For a person that's 81, lives alone, and has heart trouble, this is a good service to have. It came with a watch and I wear it when I'm out in the yard working. At night I wear the necklace so if I have another heart attack while in bed I can just push the button to call for help. Both me and my daughter feel much better and safer having it with us. I know I can depend on them.

I just found them through advertisements so I got it for my husband since he's handicapped and falls a lot. He's too heavy for me to lift him up on my own. So far their responses have been wonderful. They're usually here within minutes of us calling and help me get him up. The device is very easy to use too, it's around his neck at all times. My doctor recommended it to me. I've had it for several months now but just last week my mom was having a COPD. I was terrified and was trying to call 911 but my mom was in such a panic and I was so scared that my mind just went blank. That's when I saw the machine and it was almost as if an angel was there. I was able to just press the button and tell them to call an ambulance for us. They were there right away when we needed them.

The main reason I have it is because, if I were to fall, I can report it immediately to someone. I usually put the necklace around my neck when my wife is not at home. Every two weeks we have a couple of cleaning people come and on one occasion they picked up either the watch or the necklace thing and squeezed the button. They called us and I had to explain the situation, but everything was ok. The only problem I have right now is that it's not really effective beyond my front door.

I got it after I had an incident where I passed out and fell on the floor. I laid there for quite a while before I could get to my cellphone. After I got out of the hospital I decided to just get Medical Guardian. It has been working out great for me. At first I was scared that I would hit the button by mistake, but that hasn't happened yet. Their customer service has been very helpful and open. I've called them three times already with some questions and they have always given me good responses. It has given me a whole lot of comfort to know that I can get help just by pushing a button.

I got it on behalf of my father. I looked at consumer reports and things like that and Medical Guardian just came up as one of the best ones out there. We looked at what they had to offer and went from there. He lives on four acres on land, so he uses the mobile bit when he goes around his property doing odd jobs and things of the sort. He hasn't had to use it for anything other than testing it. Last time we tested it, which was a couple of weeks ago, it took a really long time for it to connect and for someone to pick up. Still, customer support has been very attentive and they've been very courteous and professional so far.

I researched them on the internet and the features and reviews they had convinced me of getting it. The service is just very convenient, there are no hassles to it. A friend of mine had it and was very happy with it, so I got it for my mother too. Luckily she has not had to use it, but she is turning 89 next month and lives alone. The button is easy to wear on the neck and it's there if she needs to press it. She can also wear it in the shower if she needs to. Any time I've had an interaction with them, they've been helpful and polite. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if anything happens I will be alerted about it. It could always be a little less expensive, I'd love to see the price go down.

I decided to get something like this since I live alone. I just picked Medical Guardian. On a typical day I put it on in the morning and go about doing whatever I need to do, whether that's golfing, going to the gym, going to a restaurant, or whatever. The button is larger and bulkier than what I'd like it to be. I've never had to use it but I've tested it a couple of times to see if it knows where I am and it really didn't know. When I visited Davis in California it had my location wrong by about a mile and a quarter. I think it's probably related to the fact that AT&T is the one that services them, so coverage is not always great.

When I first got it I was hoping that I could use it outside, since that's where I've taken most of my falls. It turns out that that's not really the case. The device doesn't really have a GPS feature in it, so now I'm thinking about switching programs. Still, in the time I've had it, I used it once when I fell in the shower and couldn't get up. I pressed the button and the operator tried to call my neighbors but they just couldn't understand. I think she was talking too fast and seemed excited or something. In the end they called the ambulance and they got here at about the same time. From that I know that it works well inside the house. Whenever I press the button and they call me they make sure to first check if I actually need help or not.

The main reasons I got Medical Guardian were that they had a great interface, their equipment was easy to use, and the range that the devices had was good. Thankfully we have not had to use it yet, but typically I wear it during the day. We've had no issues with it, it's a very light and manageable button. It's not complicated at all. I used to have another service before, but that one wouldn't let me take it along with me when I traveled. With this one, I can take it in my leather case with me when I go and visit my children, which is excellent. This is also cheaper. Luckily I haven't had to use it, there hasn't been an emergency or anything when I needed it. I've only called to check it to make sure it's all working. I compared several companies that offered similar services and felt that Medical Guardian offered the best value. We've had to call emergency services on several occasions. When my mother in law took a fall and couldn't get up on her own, she called for help from Medical Guardian. They sent out a medical team, helped her get up, and checked on her vitals before leaving to make sure she was alright. This was all free of charge and they didn't have to take her to the hospital. I think that they could be priced more economically, especially since there were other vendors out there that had better pricing. Maybe they cut in some areas, but in general it's fulfilling our needs.

I usually put it on in the morning while I'm in my condo. I've never had to use it, but they called me once because they thought I had pressed the button by mistake or something. I know that this will get me help when I need it. I don't mind wearing the device around my neck when I'm around my house. When I leave though I take my cellphone with me because I don't think the device will help me. If I could have something in the future that could travel with me when I go in my car, that would be better.

The service was chosen by my children. This button just had the most coverage and things that I could use. It can track me wherever I go and still let me contact them. I had an emergency call where I needed them. They called the designated numbers that I gave them and got me help. They had trained technical people come get me and they took me to the hospital.

I haven't had to use it, but I know it works. I once set it off while I was working out with a machine. I wear the watch all the time and, if I have to go further than my yard, I take the control unit with me. The button is very responsive to touch and easy to carry around. Once I pushed the button by accident and they were very patient about that. On another occasion, I was out shopping and I had it in my purse. I had no idea I pushed it and eventually I found out that they were following me from one store to another and I even beat them to my own home. I was really sorry about that, but I'm happy having it.

I got it for my mother in law who is 93 years old. We've only had to use it once and it actually saved her life. She fell in her garage and broke both her hip and her wrists. She was able to use the button and they were very prompt about responding and getting the paramedics out to help her. They also called me as I was her emergency contact and I was able to go over as well. She ended up needing a hip replacement but has been doing well since.

One of the reasons we liked it was that we could carry it with us evevrywhere and it would still work. Overall we just liked the features that it has. We live on the lake so we always carry it with us when we go down to walk there or when we go on a boat or something. We have the alert button close by all the time in case we need it. Being honest, most of the services I looked at were very similar in what they covered. They just happened to have what my mom needed for a reasonable price, so I got it for her. She wears the bracelet since it seems to be more comfortable for her. We haven't had to use it, but I think she has pressed the button accidentally once. They called 911 and the rescue team showed up really quickly. Though it turned out that she was just fast asleep and rolled onto the button by accident. We got a letter from them before our contract was up for renewal that explained how much we were going to be billed if we decided to renew the service. I gave them a call because, for one, the card that they were going to charge was no longer active. The price was also about $100 more than what we had paid previously and that just didn't seem right.

I researched a little bit and decided that I had to have something that could go with me wherever I went. I keep the button on me all the time and I try and remember to take the little unit with me when I'm out an about unless I'm with my family. The necklace bothers me, but I imagine all necklaces for things like this do that. What I didn't know was that anything large and metallic would interfere with it. I have a big metal garage door, so the button won't work in front of my house. I was disappointed by that. Another issue I've run into is with the fact that I have multiple homes. I have a beach house and I go to the mountains from time to time. Every time I do that, I have to go through and tell them exactly where the house is so they know where to find me if I call. It's a very difficult process to go through and I wish they had it all the information on file somewhere so it could be easier.

I actually got the device for my mother and father because they're both in their nineties and living alone. I compared the price and quality of service and picked them in them in the end. We've done a couple of tests and things have worked out fine. They've tried to use both devices, the wristband and the necklace, but had problems with both. They just couldn't wear the band and the necklace would move a lot and go off. It was kind of faulty. Because of that, they just decided to take them off and don't wear them.

When I pressed the button on my equipment they responded quickly enough. I have no problems with my equipment, it's just excellent. Actually, that was one of the main reason I got them. I know a lot of people that have this and they were satisfied with it, so I got it as well. I also like that it has the GPS since I can always have a way to communicate with someone if I need to.

My son was the one that decided to get it and I've been happy with it so far. I have a chain around my neck so, if anything happens, it would call Medical Guardian and get the emergency people for me. They've actually called me twice to ask if I was alright, which means that on two different occasions the button got bumped into something. I feel pretty secure and comfortable knowing that there's someone there looking after me. I've been pleased and satisfied with it so far.
