Happy 4th and blessings to life alert! My prayers were answered on 5/30/23 when i had to call them using the button... one open heart surgery later, i find myself using a walker... but guess what? I'm alive to see the birth of my grandson. I owe it to this small little device that i am here, the doctor literally told me "If you didnt have life alert, you would not have made it to the phone", and you wouldn't of gotten to the hospital in time... Life is a game of small things sometimes, and this one small thing saved my life.

After so long still working... this is crazy. Literally used the same device for both of my grandparents. Unfortunately one passed away 4 years ago... my grandma though is using my dear grandpas same device... and its now 4 years in as well... thats 8 years of use... i'll probably contact them in 1 year to switch it out ... an abundance of caution.. but geezus. Talk about value. The one time we needed them it was a 3 second pickup from the time my grandma pressed it... she wouldn't stop talking about how thankful she was about it. She doesn't talk much, but she wouldn't stop raving.

Never did i think in my life that i would see the day where i needed this kind of thing but after i fell the first time my 3 kids made me get it. Now ... i have fallen a 2nd time, and it was a serious issue as i fell down stairs. I have some issues with equilibrium at times. EMS was there very quickly im talking within had to be five minutes. Surely i cannot rave enough about the service, i'd of been crawling around unable to do anything without them. Hope to live many more years, with life alert if i ever need em again.

Spoke with Liam and he was outstanding. He was thorough in explaining the process and how life alert works. Liam was very patient in answering our questions and he was a great listener as well. We are more than satisfied with beginning this journey and we believe that the safety of our mom is very important. Liam seemed to understand that. We would recommend a life alert to anyone who needs it. The program cost is very reasonable

My family and I bought this for my mom. I called Life Alert around 9pm EST and got a rep speak to me. Her name was Janice. She was super pleasant and patient with all of our questions. Very knowledgeable on the products and service. Also helped mom with her concerns. The process was easy and the price was reasonable. We all have peace of mind with Life Alert on its way. Quick turnaround time for ordering too. Thanks Janice for all of your help tonight!

Carmen was amazing, very polite and informative. She walked me through the install for my aunt and she was awesome. If she is a representation of how the company works then I know we made the right choice to go with Life Alert. Carmen is the Gold standard on how customer service should be given and she was so nice to my aunt and even made her laugh. I HIGHLY recommend Life Alert if you're looking for excellent service, and ask for Carmen to help you install, she will make your day!

Life alert helped me and my family take care of both our parents. The fact that their battery doesn't die helped us immensely as we were fearful of it dying. It did not, and it even helped my mom when she fell in the shower and broke her hip. I'd say its more than worth it. Strangely enough, since her hip surgery she has felt better about being alone due to the button being available for help. Glad we have an ally with life alert.

Honestly life alert has been a godsend. My grandma has partial dementia and its escalating… with that said she has a caretaker but not 24/7. The devices by life alert protect her from almost everything and its a huge piece of mind thing for me while i sleep… without having to charge the battery its also easier. I worry about her forgetting…

I am very surprised to see negative comments about this company. I am 84 years old and I have had nothing but the most fabulous experience with Life Alert. I had two bad falls and if I didn't have my button, I would have been in big trouble. They are always so nice to me and pleasant. I feel peace because I know I have my helper no matter what. I wouldn't give Life Alert up for anything. God bless.

We're two years into the three year contract. My parents (both in their 80's) live in their home in southern California, while I'm way up in Seattle. They've activated the system twice after falls, and all worked exactly as described. LifeAlert's dispatcher contacted emergency services, and paramedics were onsite in minutes. I received a notification call in both cases, keeping me informed. This service allows my parents to stay in their home, where they prefer to be. Worth every penny for peace of mind. Their website and ability to interact online (for billing changes, etc.) is a bit underwhelming.

We use Life Alert for my older mother who has some medical issues. Thank goodness she has not yet fallen and had to use it but she is seizure prone so she always wears it just in case. It certainly lifts a weight off of my shoulders to know that she can push that button if something happens and help will be on the way immediately. Thank you Life Alert for peace of mind. Life Alerts customer service was great when setting up my mothers system.

My mother has had Life Alert for 5 years. She is now 88 years old and has problems with balance. Because she has had both knees and both hips replaced, when she falls she is unable to get back up without assistance. I live an hour away. Life Alert has responded beautifully each time she has "fallen and can't get up". She highly recommends Life Alert to all of her friends and says it is a life saver. Life Alert means she can maintain her independence. It gives me (and my two siblings that live across the country) such peace of mind.

I love both of my Life Alert "buttons". I love the fact that they tell you to test your equipment once a month too. It is a little expensive, $69.95 a month, but so far not matter here I go, it has been there if I need it. I have found that it takes a few minutes to get a live person, and hope that if I can't talk, they will still send someone sent to find out what's wrong. I also like the fact that if I am on the road, they are suppose to be able to get help, that's why I chose them over the Guardian. Life Alert was the only one I found that had the "travelling pager" It's heavier like the old pagers as far as weight goes, but you can talk to it and get a response, and while it's expense, it's been worth it for my peace of mind.

The reason I'm only giving a two-star rating, it's because of a woman named Sarah. Apparently the delivery dates were not what they had told me originally. So when I called to talk to her salesman Joel, I got a woman named Sarah. If you record your calls for your business, please check into this Sarah. She was not only condescending, she was rude and very frustrating!! Everyone else in your company has been amazing!! I'd like to find out who does Sarah is that answers the phone when I'm trying to meet Joel in New York. I would like to file a formal complaint with corporate about her!!!! It's really too bad that one woman out of 15 people I've talked to brought your rating from five stars down to two!!

I set this system up for my mom, and it gives me the peace of mind to sleep knowing she is safe. My mom lives alone now that my dad has passed, she’s only 67 and had a heart attack and luckily I was there, but now I don’t feel so alone having this installed and my mom has said she likes the support also.

I like the safe feeling of knowing that I can get help quickly. The unit was so easy to set up. My wife stepped out for a few minutes and I got up and lost my balance and went down. If we had Life Alert, she would have been alerted to come home. That is when we decided that we needed it.
