After getting home from work I don't want to have to think about dinner or grocery shopping. Which would always lead to take out and unhealthy processed food. Of all the home delivery services Hello Fresh has been my favorite. (we have tried Blue Apron, Green Chef, Home Chef, Terra's Kitchen, and Sun Basket) This is the first time they have sent us something that didn't match up to the recipe cards and was not intuitive how to put it together. (chicken breasts, green beans, zucchini, baby potatoes, parmesan cheese, milk and a lemon) On a positive note - the food was in great condition and I was able to roast all veggies - bake the chicken - sprinkle the cheese over it all and call it dinner.

Everything has been amazing. So fresh and easy. Enjoyable to cook even after a long day of work. I have had a couple issues with the ice packs puncturing our meat packages however, HELLOFRESH was very quick to right the wrong and give us a discount for that meal on our following box.

We have used HelloFresh for the past two weeks and found the food to be of high quality, the packaging excellent and the instructions simple and easy to follow. I like how the steps are sequenced to ensure a start to finish time of about 30 minutes for a fresh, fulfilling and nutritious meal. I also like how they have several options to select from each week or the ability to skip a week.

HelloFresh is amazing!! If you don’t ever know what to cook, but you don’t want to eat out, HelloFresh is for you. Its great for meal prepping and building up your confidence as a chef. I highly recommend this service to single parents, busy parents, single people, and college students. Additionally, it’s super healthy! I lost 10 pounds with this service. And it was unintentionally too.

We used hello Fresh for about 6 months, it was alot of fun getting our box of meals each week and cooking things that we wouldn't otherwise cook on our own. Easy to follow recipes and the food always turned out great, also Hello Fresh is a good way to portion control and not overeat. We eventually stopped using hello fresh as it just became too expensive for our budget but we still kept a lot of the recipe cards so we can use them we we want!

We are SO busy with 2 kids in all kinds of sports all year long so we thought this might be something to help for good meals for a family that's on the run. The food they brought was absolutely AMAZING. Even out 2 picky eater kids really enjoyed all the meals that we got.

BIG FAN of Hello Fresh! They have the yummiest food, and the portions are perfect. Their customer service is great as well. Every time I have an issue, I chat their customer service and they are very quick to response and fix my problem. My only complaint is it is a bit pricey, unless you can get a discount code, which they usually have tons of them out there!

Anytime I have a missing or damaged item, they are good at making it right and issuing a credit for the trouble. The app is easy to use and they have a lot of choices each week.

Like the meals & convenience. The only complaint is a sent my sister a gift card, 3 meals. They want a credit card but say it will not be charged unless she signs up for their service. But they charged her anyway. Very upset this happened. Now she has to call & mess with getting it refunded. Not very good business.

I ordered Hello Fresh and it did not come fresh! Hmmmm. And it was my first week. I received my package of three meals Thursday evening...weekend is here and just now getting to it. Today is Sunday 5:00. I am going to fix the crabcakes tonight. They look delicious. I opened the arugula and I had to throw a fourth of it away because it was too runny, the tomatoes are orange instead of red and the two green onions I can use half of them. They are so skinny I don’t know how it’s going to give it any flavor. If I had bought these products at the grocery store they would still be fresh. I have not tasted it yet so the jury is out. Also hI did cancel as soon as I got it when I was putting together my next three weeks. I upgraded to the crabcakes which was $12.22 but the next week was going to be over $82! Yikes ! It’s probably a great service for a lot of people but I don’t eat much chicken and I don’t eat pasta and that is what most of the recipes seem to be. For three meals a week I just don’t want to spend over $240 due to having to upgrade my meals. I hope you have better luck than I did.

I signed up with HelloFresh because I was offered an $80 off your first month (so about $20 per shipment). My first order, one of my meals was incorrect but no harm no foul, it still tasted good. I used about 2 out of the 4 orders for the month before I decided I probably couldn’t keep up with the payments when they reverted to full price (about $40 an order x 4 a month) so I canceled and didn’t use the complete $80. The food was fresh and good and there were a lot of interesting recipes I wouldn’t have thought up myself. My biggest issue was the amount of little packets and plastic bags that it created and I had to clean up. Otherwise, the actual service was fine and there were also no issues about shipping or damaged containers. By far my biggest issue came after the fact. Now, I realize they see me canceling so quickly they want to try and get me back with additional promos. If they just sent emails, whatever but no. They KEPT CALLING ME. Like at least twice a day, day after day. Usually I don’t pickup calls that aren’t in my phone (i figure if they leave a message it’s actually important) but I kept getting calls from an 800 number. I finally answered and it’s them. I kept saying “I’m not interested, I’m not interested” and the lady wouldn’t let me go. I finally agreed to whatever deal she was trying to offer me just to get off the phone with her. I called HelloFresh immediately after and canceled my account and blocked the 800 number. NOW I started getting calls from my area code, twice a day, day after day. I answered and it’s HF again. At least this lady accepted my NO. I hung up and have blocked this number. My question is, is this my life now?

I love receiving my meals but eventually it just got too pricey for me to continue doing it. The reason I am leaving such a low rating is because I continue to receive phone calls asking me why I cancelled and trying to get me to come back even after I’ve asked that my phone number be removed from the system as I don’t plan on coming back any time soon. If I do decide to come back later then I can call but I don’t appreciate the continuous phone calls throwing me a bunch of offers after I’ve already said I’m not in the budget to start back up again. I understand they are doing their job but it’s a real nuisance that they just push to get your service right then and there.

No complaints at all with their vegetarian menu. Well, one. I like their recipes and tend to eat both servings right away. I've low body fat due to watching calories and exercising frequently, so tasty meals are dangerous.

Hello Fresh is a great way to learn new recipes. You should have a basic knowledge of cooking before trying their recipes. My favorite part is not having to pick out what I'm eating for dinner that night - all the ingredients are provided and thought about and delivered to my door. The meat is also fantastic quality!

Originally I loved HF over time meals have become monotonous and not worth the price (so many potato’s and root veggies). Customer service is pretty good but be careful to remember to skip weeks or you’ll end up with an unexpected delivery. I wish it were the opposite, that you had to opt in to a week in stead of out of a week. Over all I find myself wish I had just gone to the market myself that week more and more. It is very helpful for crazy weeks when I know that won’t be an option.

I actually love their food but this week my delivery did not arrive so for the first time had to deal with their customer service. After sending a message to let them know that my delivery had not arrived (why do I need to tell them - they can see that they actually did not ship it on time). I was emailed that I would get a $10 credit. I called them and asked if the order would be okay since it has been on ice for what looked like 4 days. The customer service rep told me, “Other people got their orders late and they are fine.” Meaning, they have not died from rotten food consumption? That they are okay with an order a day late? Wasn’t clear. I contacted them again via email to ask if the food would be okay and they gave me another $10 credit but still did not answer whether if the food was okay they consume. They make you feel bad that you are trying to get an answer and they are obviously trying not to give an answer! Frustrating. Not worth the hassle if something goes wrong so I am cancelling.

I think the meals are very easy to cook and delicious. I would recommend they incorporate some more whole wheat into some of the starch/bread/pasta recipes. They do repeat recipes once every 3 months or so but it’s not too bad.

The quality andnthe recipes were amazing. We had a lot fun making them together. Cost- honestly for the amount it cost you can eat out once or twice and have someone cook for you and no clean up. I had a free weeks worth of meals from HelloFresh and was satisfied with the meals, portion sizes, pre-measurement of ingredients and instructions included in the box. My only complaint would be the prices, it would be unlikely that most people could afford spending close to $150 a week on a meal plan (as a college student anyway).

My husband and I have ordered it a couple different 2-3 month periods of time in order to improve our diets and explore new foods. We have enjoyed getting new recipes to try on our own and, though the ease of having them send us all our food required for each meal, once we started not having new options of recipes, we quit our subscription. It was nice to have all the groceries sent to us but wasn’t worth the money in our opinion to have them keep sending food for recipes we’d already received. We also had a few orders with bad produce. Though, not many. Thank goodness!
