I ordered a cheap mattress on Amazon for a spare bedroom. It came in a box but expanded as specified on the website. It was alright. You get what you pay for. It was a cheap size double mattress. Definitely not something that was comfortable but it would do the job for an occasional guest if you live on a budget. I definitely don't recommend a cheap mattress for long term guests. We do not have guests often so this one looked good for the room display and provided a sleep for an occasional guest. I was on a budget at the time so it fit the bill.

They have a great selection of items from multiple sellers but the Amazon customer support is not helpful at all when you can't get in contact with the seller. It is hard to get refunds on broken items and delivery drivers are not gentle with packages labeled fragile. They just wanna do their deliveries and be done

Loved Amazon but lately they have been lacking quality. The sellers aren’t always accurate with the product. Being a Prime member you don’t always get the 2 day shipping and shipping is almost as much as taxes.

Amazon has good choice of mattresses and mattress covers. The prices of mattresses are competitive. However returns can be an issue.
