I had long term disability policy with this company through my employer. In 2014 I got sick and eventually disabled. After talking with my doctor and on doctor's advise I filed claim in 2014. There was 3 month wait period. Since then I have been getting disability insurance payment check every month. Company does regularly confirm that I still fullfil the requirements of the policy which is no problem. I also get social security disability. Helps put food on the table. That's what disability insurance is for.

My agent here in Edmonton is very easy to deal with. I have been with the company since 1988, and my previous Sunlife agent was also "top of the line". I took out a Critical Illness policy with my first agent, and when I qualified to claim on it, it was a day I will never forget. All of the office staff were there to present me with the cheque!
