We bought a Bullfrog X7-Platinum Series hot tub. Buyer BEWARE!!! We had the tub less than three years, and in a contoured seat we developed a blister the diameter of six inches. The warranty states that Bullfrog warrants the surface finish of the Bullfrog Spa not to crack, wrinkle, blister, peel or delaminate for three years from the original spa purchase date. We contacted our dealer and service manager who went to bat for us calling Bullfrog. We were told that we had to cough up another $2,100 for a newer spa since there is depreciation with the old spa. That language is NOT in the warranty. We also have to pay for the exchange, and delivery for the replacement (which is stated in the warranty). We contacted Bullfrog's warranty department personally to try to understand the difference between our tub and a new tub that it would cost an additional $2,100. Bullfrog has you pay for the newer technology. What is newer in three years? He couldn't answer our questions. He told us to speak to our dealer about the differences. Bullfrog said that they would pay for a surface repair, IF it was not a third party. It is a third party since it is a speciality surface job. We got the run around. Either way, we have a three year old tub with problems and have to dish out more money. What good is warranty if they don't honor it? Bullfrog needs to include language in their warranty about buyer's tubs depreciating value, and having to pay a difference in a newer tub. The current language states that they reserve the right to instead provide a replacement spa equal in value to the original purchase price of the defective spa.

I purchased an A6L Plus spa and it was delivered in about a week and was electrically connected the following day. It was discovered after power was applied the new spa wasn't working correctly and the pump appeared inoperative. I contacted Bullfrog support and they indicated it was likely air in the lines. After continuous bleed of the line which indicated no air was in the lines Bullfrog schedule a tech to come out 5 days later. On the scheduled date around noon I called to verify the tech was still coming and got no answer from customer support and left a message which was not returned. Two hours later I called sales and someone answered the phone and verified I was scheduled. About two hours later the Tech arrived and in less than 10 minutes he verified the pump was bad and he didn't have a replacement and would need to order one. Two weeks later I call customer service and again no one answers and I call again and a female representative took my name and phone number and stated she would transfer me to Tyler. After waiting on hold she returned to tell me he was on the phone and he would later return my call which did not occur. At this time, I am going to call Costco whom I made the purchase through and seek to return their defective spa.

Steer Clear at All Costs!!!!! We purchased an A6L in early 2019. The spa has been falling apart since day one. The foam pillows have deteriorated, the exterior status light caught on fire, the base of the spa is cracking and falling apart, all the clips for the pillows have broken, the labels for the cup holders and buttons have fallen off, the knobs on the jet packs have fallen off, the rotating jets in the jet packs stopped rotating, the motors have overtime begun to make loud vibrating noises, and the list goes on. All I can say is don't make a $13K mistake like we did. Since our purchase 3 of our neighbors bought spas from other manufacturers as they witnessed the poor quality of the Bullfrog spa. Life Lesson Learned for Sure. FYI, they don't stand behind their products whatsoever!

Very poor warranty service and customer service. If something is wrong with your hot tub don’t expect to have it fixed soon. Thr company draws it out months and months with no end in sight. This isn’t a good company and it’s a very haphazardly organized business. Honestly, I wish I had better things to say. My wife and I were excited to get a Bullfrog Spa. Experiencing heavy buyers remorse. Our 3 person tub valued at $21k has been so loud because of something not working right. 2 techs came out and I’ve posted multiple videos precisely indicating the issue. Only to be told it’s normal. We can hear the hot tub from within the house it’s so loud. Bullfrog said it’s normal. It’s very far from normal and they try to avoid warranty claims it seems. Also if you are out of service area, expect to pay $100/hr for travel time for tech to come out as it’s not covered in the warranty. Don’t be fooled by their gimmicks and I suggest to really look elsewhere

2-3 times a year I break the clips on the jetpak that covers the cartridges. Since it covers the cartridges I have to remove it fairly regularly to change the cartridges. I am incredibly careful and treat things with care when trying to remove the jetpak. I have repeatedly tried to call and email Bullfrog for an answer on why these break, and to ask them to make the clips out of more pliable plastic, or out of stainless steel. The manufacturer simply won't return my calls/emails. I asked my local dealer to look into this for me. One month later the dealer had not called back. I asked my dealer again and they said someone named Robert was calling the manufacturer. 3 weeks later no one had gotten back to me. I called my local dealer...again. Robert picked up! He's alive! He had an answer at the ready, he just chose not to return my call. He claims that the manufacturer said, "if the seal is not properly set at the bottom of the jetpak when somebody tries to push down to remove the jet pack it'll break the clips." I got angry. Really? That was their excuse? That my seal was not properly set?! But it is! And I am still having clips break way too easily! I am still under warranty so they pay to repair this. But once I am out of warranty in 1.5 years I'll be spending about $500 a year to fix these. Unacceptable! I would not buy another Bullfrog if you gave it to me for 90% off! I have had countless other problems with my M8. This company should do everyone a favor and shut down.

Unfortunately, it has now been a few months since we received our spa, what began as pure excitement became complete disappointment! We thought we were purchasing a spa considered be built by a good brand and instead it appears the quality control is terrible. Based on the reviews we never expected the amount of problems and poor service we have received from the moment it was delivered. Even though our dealer rep Bruce has been cordial and responsive we expected the company to back up their product, and they have not. From the beginning the brand new spa did not work due to a bad heater, a pack was defective, a part that holds the chemicals is still missing, the outside lights (we paid extra for) that are on a timer, do not stay on, and now the unit makes a humming noise when turned on. It has been almost 4 months of repeated broken promises, and unreturned calls. It appears that by ignoring our concerns the Company may think we will just go away, however, We had plenty of options before making this purchase, it was a costly item and we never expected to deal with so many problems and inconveniences. Our hope that our review and experience can help others make an educated desicion when considering 'Bullfrog'.

FO NOT PURCHASE A SPA FROM BULLFROG. We got our spa two years ago this October. The company boasts their great warranty on their spas, 3 years everything is covered. All of our pillows are falling apart. I called customer service they told me that they donor cover pillows. We are in the market for a new spa at our main residence and will be taking our $10+ k elsewhere to a company that cares about their customers.

Purchased a Brand New A7 and paid nearly 15k for it! Had it delivered and the delivery technicians did not level the Hot Tub and now the water is higher on one side...Next the stereo did not work, Took the side panel off and it wasn't even plugged in from the factory! Eight months later the lights are out in one of the cupholders and is under warranty and Watson's the dealer we bought it from won't take care of it! Save your money and buy another brand! Totally disappointed with how much we spent! Thought we were getting a great Hot Tub for the money and we didn't!

Most expensive cheap hottub you will ever buy. Avoid at all costs. As soon as you have a warrenty issue then you see how they make their money. They deny deny deny. They will even say it is not their fault, but God's. Even when it was a completely avoidable issue. Just. Uy from anyone else or you will regret as I do.
