Once I reached someone in customer service, Paul, everything was very good from start to finish. But, as I explained to Paul, I called last night, and was transferred to 2 or 3 departments, where I was told that they were taking calls in order of how they came in. I was on the wait list for over 2 hours. I finally called again on our home phone, and talked to another person about the wait. He was very nice, as he had to explain the the department I was waiting for had gone home over an hour ago. I'm sorry I had to sent my frustration to him, but as I said, he was nice. I called again this morning, and basically went through the same thing, only this time I only waited an hour, before I hung up. So I called again and Paul answered within a few minutes. I think the most frustration part of this was that you have a whole bunch of numbers to get you to what you are trying to do, but not a single one that tells you what number to press if you are trying to get your service transferred. I think that would help a lot of people. Anyway, other than that frustration, I still believe that OneGuard is a very good company to do business with, and once you get to where you are going, the customer service folks are very nice and get done as quickly as possible to help you with your call.

We were always wondering if there was a time we needed to use the warranty, would it really work?
Well, we did and it does! We needed the ac system repaired and it was amazingly simple,
they referred us to blue sky heating and ac and not only were they quick to respond over the Memorial Day weekend but the ac is back up and running and things are working just great!
Thanks to one guard and blue sky heating and ac we are happy to know that the home warranty really does work, just like it is all supposed to!

OneGuard is fantastic. I’ve had home warranties with other companies over the years and have always had problems and had to fight for coverage. Not OneGuard. They provide the coverage they outline in their contract without any issues. Their contractors are great as well. They have come out the same day or next day every time. I highly recommend OneGuard.

Melinda is professional, fair and presented what I needed in a new contract. It is this type of customer service all these home warranty places need but many dont have. I love how customizable the warranty coverage plans are at OneGuard! They also come with so many extra perks that my previous warranty did not. Much to my surprise and appreciation Melinda G. from OneGuard called me and we set up the account with OneGuard to begin on July 2021.
melinda was very helpful in finding us the best plan and applying the available discounts without me having to ask. Overall we are very happy with OneGard and the service that Melinda provided.

I renewed (early) my contract for another year today. One Guard has been a wonderful company. They provide me with great peace of mind for if (When) a home repair need arises. Thank hey are prompt and send professional experts to make the repairs as needed. I renewed with Alexander J. today. He was patient and let me call him back. When I was ready to renew he completed the entire process in under three minutes. This is the type of service I have come to expect from One Guard and they have not failed to provide a great experience.

I've been with this company since buying my condo 5 years ago. In that time, I have had many needs for service calls with them. They have replaced my hot water heater and garbage disposal, and a seal on my refrigerator, they have serviced my washer, dryer, dishwasher and HVAC. The policy also includes carpet cleaning with a small co-pay. They have always responded quickly and I have always been happy with the customer service and the various servicemen they have sent out, and companies they have contracted with. Today I renewed my policy with salesman Fred F.!

Amazing! I couldn't remember my renewal code for a discount off the annual rate when I called in for my renewal. Alexander was very helpful and was able to meet me half way with a slight discount. Every little bit helps, especially in todays world of uncertainty. I highly recommend using OneGuard home warranty and ask for Alexander next time you go through your renewal. He will take good care of you and is super pleasant to talk to.

They are easy to work with, honor appointments and choose service technicians and repair contractors who know what they are doing. I use them to find "good help" in our new hometown where I don't have existing connections. I don't just use them for "repairs"-- I used them for window washing, annual HVAC inspections, etc They even do carpet cleaning.
The front office is really good too. Special thanks to Alexander J. and Taylor M. for their welcoming and efficient service.

Very prompt service 24/7 and vendors call to make an appt wthin a few hours. Vendors are high quality and costs are waived except for the nominal OneGuard fee per breakdown.
Be aware that there are maximum amounts that will be paid per appliance, even if your model is a more expensive one. Also, structural issues aren't covered; only mechanical, electrical issues.
As a multi-year customer, I even got a discount on my annual fee from Kevin C by paying ahead of the deadline.

OneGuard has always been responsive to my emergent needs with A/C and appliance repair. Dallas C., who sold me the plan, looked out for my needs with personal attention. And Fred, who renewed my plan, made sure that I received the best possible renewal rate. From sales to service, OneGuard has exceeded my expectations. Slightly less expensive options exist, but I am a service quality over "cheap" customer. You do get what you pay for. But, in the case of OneGuard, you get more than you pay for. I am a satisfied customer.

Fred F. was was very helpful and professional in answering all questions I had regarding the renewal of my Home Warranty Service Contract.
Whenever I have contacted One Guard to set up service, everyone I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful. All service requested was done within 2-3 days of calling. When my water heater went out on a Friday, their Service Provider replaced
it the same day I called. All service repair providers were polite and respectful.
I recommend One Guard Home Warranty, as I have not had any problems.

Today I renewed my contract with One Guard for another year for the two homes I own. Again I dealt with Fred F, who is a joy to work with. Fred is knowledgeable, professional and returns phone calls immediately. But he is also working for a Five Star company. I have had two problems at one of our homes in the last year, and the company and people they sent out were prompt, solved the problems and I couldn't have chosen anyone on my own that would have been better. I give them all five stars.

Ana M. is the greatest service provider I have ever talked with! I have used them for about 20 years. At one point I had 3 houses under contract with them. I have never had any problems with them performing or just doing what they said they would do.
They even replace a 5 ton gas pack/AC unit for the normal service charge. And had it done in 3 days during the heat of the summer.

I don’t normally take the time to write complementary notes about service but today I had exceptional service that exceeded all expectations. My phone call was answered on the first ring and picked up by Alexander J, who answered all of my questions, renewed my agreement with One Guard and, to add frosting to the cake, saved me $75 off my annual charges. Lastly, this was all done within three minutes. I’m ready to call the Guinness book of world records in London to report this interaction with Alexander. (And, no, Alexander did not pay me to write this review. I did it on my own.)

Fred was so helpful when I did early renewal and asked if there may be any discount. He checked into it since I have been with One Guard for over 15+ years. He even helped me with another property that was coming up for renewal in a couple of months. Once inquired into that one he realized the CC set up was no longer in service. So we reset that one up. He took extra care of my home warranty needs and was extremely pleasant to work with. I highly recommend to many. Fred told me of a referral bonus I could receive. Very nice to know.

Contacted OneGuard for a service request and to inquire about policy renewal. I did have to wait a few minutes to speak with a representative. Aside from that, the reps were great and got my service request processed. I was then transferred to the sales dept for policy questions. Alexander J's answered my questions entirely and processed my renewal in just a couple minutes. My experience today and over the past year with OneGuard has been great. Definitely recommend OneGuard.

I have had a really good experience with OneGuard aside from one issue, which is why I can't give them 5 stars.
The one issue I had was that they sent an A/C company to my house that I did not want to do business with. Their quote for out of pocket included items that I flat out didn't need (like a concrete pad for a condenser, when I have a 4x8 poured concrete slab that holds my two A/C units).
I called OneGuard and asked for a second opinion. They said they would not agree to that because the out of pocket costs where "within range". They didn't seem to care that the company was trying to charge me for something I didn't need.
OneGuard did offer to do a cash out payment in the amount of $600 (for a brand new condenser), so I was forced to use this shady company.
End result - shady company forced me to pay the entire out of pocket cost up front and then took 3 weeks to complete the work. Temps in Austin during that time were 90+ degrees.
This made me consider dropping OneGuard altogether (I have two properties), but this was the first hiccup in 4 years so I'll give them another shot
