We haven't used the home warranty yet, so can't rate performance, but we give high marks to our account rep, Brad S. He walked us through the process, was very informative, patient, and answered all of our questions. We purchased two home warranties from him and look forward to a good relationship with Brad and Liberty Home Guard. We liked the BBB rating of "A" as well.

The faucet in my kitchen was leaking like a geyser and making a huge mess, called Liberty Home Guard and although leaks as per their agreement are not covered, they didn’t run from the problem and instead extended a courtesy and dispatched a technician who came out and fixed it in 30 minutes, they took a fee of $85, but it was fine. Happy nonetheless.

Happy with my total home guard plan. It was super easy to get enrolled with them, the rep was very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. He was patient and explained every part of the coverage including what is and isn’t covered. The rep helped me choose the coverage that was best for my home’s needs. So far I am happy with their service. I am hopeful that the claims process will go as smoothly.

My representative is Brad S. He went above and beyond with my initial phone call of questions and concerns. My main interest on a Home Warranty plan is the sewer and main water lines leading to the home, since not all companies offer that. He patiently and politely helped me and informed me with information other companies didn’t. I wasn’t rushed. He answered all my concerns I was impressed because he didn’t read off a script as other companies did. I’m very pleased. I would recommend Brad to others.

They deducted the service fee over 1 week before any service was scheduled. Then after several days, they send me an email with the name and number of the plumbing company. I call the plumbing company to find out when they will be here and I am informed by the owner of plumbing company that they DO NOT work with Liberty Home Guard! So I am out 75.00, I called LHG to complain and requested someone call me ASAP. After 3 hours, there has been NO return phone call to address this problem.

I was skeptical about home warranties after doing a bunch of research. I have to commend Leo on doing a great job on educating me about the industry and Liberty Home Guard's difference. He told me about their project management and wholesale club programs. Right after signing up, Leo transferred me to their procurement department, and Liberty was able to get me a replacement dishwasher and save me $250 off of retail.

I’m a happy member of liberty home guard for 7 months now. Excellent experience on my first claim. I had an issue with my heating system so I placed a claim and was very surprise by how quickly they respond and the next day I already had my system up and running again. I have experience other options in the past and I must say that the service I received from liberty is by far the best I had ever experience in the past. Thank you liberty home guard. A+ and highly recommended.

They do not record conversations because they do not want it to come back on them that what they originally said and what happened are miles apart. Wish they had an option for 0 stars

Crook Company, plain and simple. I’ve had LHG for a few years and my experience has consistently gotten worse. I’ll put a few examples below: 1. I needed some general plumbing help. It took a few days to have the plumber come out, which is fine it was not an emergency, however, it took a weeks after for him to come back and fix. I had to reach out multiple times for him to finally help. Once done, his work wasn’t completed properly and when I called LHG for help they said I’d have to pay the $125 fee again for his mistake. 2. Recently had my AC go out. It happened late at night and they boast they have emergency services but wouldn’t send someone out or approve quick enough so I had to pay out of pocket. They ended up only paying me $80 out of a $400 bill because it wasn’t approved. Really look at the wording in their contracts. When I called customer care to see if I could get anymore off my bill I was met with extreme rudeness and them saying well at least you’re getting $80. 3. From this incident, I wanted to cancel my policy. I asked them the cancellation process, they told me that once I cancel I would be able to receive partial refund. So then I go to cancel and it’s no we are taking all your money and it says in the contract part J. I asked for leadership to assist and they will not escalate up. I’ve reported them to BBB, getting a lawyer involved and am now leaving bad reviews all over the internet so hopefully someone else is warned. I also found a Reddit thread where some stated they are allegedly paying for reviews > just type in Liberty Home Guard Reddit and you’ll see If you have to allegedly pay for reviews, you aren’t a good company.

Julia was very helpful for my last claim. She was matter of fact, to the point, but most importantly, she knew her stuff. When I told her what my issue with my garbage disposal was, she knew right away that it had to be replaced and 3 days later, without even sending a technician to look at the problem Liberty fully replaced my garbage disposal.

We were very pleased with the work that Liberty did for us this time. They helped source a rare part replacement for our ancient dryer, and got it delivered within a few days. Repairs went relatively quickly, and what surprised me the most is that the technician knew a work around for a part replacement which was discontinued. Really impressed.

They were able to get a replacement microwave over to my house in faster time than my previous home warranty company (American Home Shield) was able to get a technician to arrive and diagnose an issue. If you are getting a home warranty, you absolutely should go with Liberty Home Guard.
