They did nothing but delay,delay the replacement of our oven! The service provider came out but couldn't wire it in. I had to call another person to put in the neccessary box and just had him go ahead and install the oven! Now let's see if AHW reimburses me the $200 It cost me!

worst company i have ever experienced! I have filed several claims with this company. i received an email aknowledging the filing of my claim and inviting me to call which i did. This was three weeks ago. ive never received a return call or email giving me the status of my claim.

Could not send a plumber who could fix a toilet. All calls appear to be outsourced and communication is very difficult. Getting someone to resolve a problem is impossible as in my case. I had to use my own plumber and still have not been reimbursed as we agreed. I advise to stay away from this company.

Worst customer service ever. No corporate phone number. You get to speak with someone in the US when signing up and after that never again. Their El Salvador call center SUCKS. their repair vendors hate them. They consistently put their customers last in line to service. Don't just run away from these losers RUN AWAY FAST

Does not do what they advertise. Was unable to provide service on emergency situation. Stated that they refunded one months fee, but there has been no refund. Not an honorable company from my experience. In fact I am looking in to filing suit .

One they assign a contractor, we are at the mercy of the contractor. Save yourself the extra headache and GO FOR ANOTHER WARRANTY COMPANY

You have to keep calling them. The staff is very unprofessional. Save yourself the extra headache and do not give them your business.

had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday morning...attempted to call First American...was put on hold...never answered...I had to contact a plumber....asked First American for partial reimbursement...they refused...I have been a loyal customer for 5 years....I'm finished with First American and would definitely not recommend....

Contractor doesn't contact me twice and I wait for them to find another contractor only to be told they won't switch contractors to one that will actually call me back. HORRIBLE customer service. I was actually told not all employee know the correct information when they tell me what is covered. I would never use them again.

My experience has been terrible. I reported a claim during early February. As of March 19, I am still waiting for the First American to instruct the contractor to come out and evaluate my claim which the warranty says is covered.

Waiting two weeks to get a hot water tank replaced while water is leaking in my basement is unacceptable. Ive had to make several phone calls and they dont care. On top of it i have to pay over $500.00 because codes have changed and it has to be modified.

-5 Stars... Stay away from this company! They will pay 5% of the total cost of whatever breaks in your home. The out of pocket you will pay is astonishingly high.. Run away and don't look back. You're better off not having insurance, than getting into a contract with these thieves!

I have had TERRIBLE customer service with First American Home Warranty company. I have NEVER had a smooth experience with ANY of the FIVE TIMES we have had to call with major problems in our new house. I have NEVER had a contractor call me to schedule an appointment. I have had to beg and plead to get them to do what they are supposed to do.

First American denied a claim for a washer because the stainless steel drum had a lifetime warranty. They said that if any part of the appliance is under warranty that the entire appliance is not covered by the home warranty.

We asked for the top of the line warranty coverage and they failed to mention one specific part of coverage That was available to their customers. When we had a problem and contacted this company it cost us an additional $1500 for coverage. Would not recommend

I received this home warranty when we purchased our home. Had to pay a service fee for them to confirm the same thing a separate contractor stated when our heat exchange cracked. First they denied it, and then offered to replace it with a lesser model. Would not recommend this company. We switched to another provider that allows us to use any company we choose to complete the work or diagnose the issue.
