Was scammed by the representatives of this company to change security company to Vio with a Buy Out promise to original security which they never adhere to now having to pay two security companies or have my credit ruined. Representative lied and scammed me , never gave or sent me a copy of so called contract that I supposedly signed and have never contacted me after several contacts to resolve this issue.ah

The folks working there are great, but for elderly people it's extremely difficult to get the cameras and phone and control panel to work consistently.... Not user friendly at all, the tech. support was impossible to use. Needed to be willing to "chat" to figure out how to use the thing.

I was with GHS Security for years. I called them the other day, and apparently they were sold/bought out by VIO Security. When I called, no one had a clue who I was and no records of me. Meanwhile, I paid IN FULL last August of 2022 up until August 2023. But apparently the new company (VIO) didn't transfer me over and now I've lost that money I paid in full and I have no security coverage. I called and called and no one at VIO really wanted to help and just kept telling me, "you're not a customer of ours". Yet I was with GHS (Who they bought out) for over 6 years! AND they took my money, but I have no coverage/protection.
I'm super disappointed.

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The door to door salesman came to our home the 1st day we received the key and would not take no for an answering. We were very busy trying to get moved in he kept talking. My husband eventually agreed. The man put us a on a 5 year contract without us knowing. We had problems from the beginning the technician canceled 3 different times before he showed up weeks later after being told we would have it put in the next day. Then when he hooked up our air conditioner to the alarm system it shut down my whole unit . I had to pay to have someone come out and fix it. Then the door bell alarm has never worked properly, we are only notified minutes after a person comes and leaves. We have reset several times and even changed internet services. It’s a malfunction in the doorbell camera . We asked for a tech to come out and were told eve though it’s a defective door camera that we would still have to pay a total of 100 just to have someone come get their faulty product that we have warranty for. I told them to come get there equipment and was told I was on a 5 year contract and I would have to pay 1900 to get out of it. We were not told that it would be 5 years . I would not recommend this company to anyone I know.

This has been a terrible experience from the beginning. Never received a contract after virtual signing. False alarms happened and was unable to reach tech to correct problem. Tried to cancel because of unsatisfactory service. Was told I had signed a 3 yr contract that could not be camceled until that time. Called at the end of 3 years only to be told that a 30 day advance notice had. to be mailed into their office. This is confusing because they have several name combinations and addresses. If it doesn't cancel this year, I'm posting to all my social media accounts and groups. I do not appreciate being scammed.

We began working with this company when it was GHS. Our three-year contract ended December 2021 so my husband called to get the address so we could send a letter letting them know we would not be renewing our contract. The rep gave us an address and I mailed a letter in early December. The letter was returned as undeliverable - the rep gave us an old address for Vio Security. When my husband called Vio, he was told not only was the address incorrect, but we had to mail the notice 30 days prior to the contract ending or our contract would automatically renew for another year.
We pulled the contract thinking how could this be possible? Who makes you sign a three year contract and then cancel it 30 days before it ends? What kind of nonsense is that? I was already annoyed at GHS/Vio because they increased our monitoring fee and changed our billing date without notifying us. When we pulled our contract the thing that stood out was how ridiculously small the print is. We literally had to use a magnifying glass to read the fine print on the first page of the contract. But, there it was, we had to cancel the contract 30 days before the contract ended. Also attached to our contract was a note that someone would go over the terms of the contract with us - NEVER happened. If we had been told to cancel the contract 30 days prior to 12.31.21, we would have done just that.
Imagine signing a five-year contract to buy a car only to find out at the end of five years that the car isn't really yours yet - you have to pay another year!
Vio needs to print their contracts so that they can be read without the use of a magnifying glass. And, how about this? A three-year contract is a three-year contract? Don't trick people into another 12-month contract because they didn't realize they have to read the really fine print. I am 63 years-old and have never heard of such a scam.
Does anyone in management keep track of how many bad reviews they are getting on these websites? People are angry with this company and deservedly so. I can tell you this much - I have spread the word to my family members and friends and told them to stay away from Vio Security, GHS and Brinks. I hope whatever money they've been able to collect has been worth the bad press they've generated.
Surely there is an attorney out there that would consider a class-action lawsuit against these people. These contracts are written where Vio benefits and the customer loses.

If you’re looking to have reliable security and equipment, well they aren’t for you. I’ve have issues with transmitter, sensors marking low battery when they are new, power panel stop working, and the list goes on and on. They will suck you in on auto renew contract and if you want to cancel half way thru the year, the only way out is to pay the remaining 6 months that remain. Customer service is a joke, they never call you back, and their managers are unprofessional. I haven’t had a signal for over a month because the panel isn’t working (main panel that keeps home secure) and they want to charge $75 to send a tech to fix panel, even though the equipment keeps malfunctioning. Also won’t do anything to compensate the customer for the inconvenience of not having service. Don’t waste your time and money.

Customer service is nonexistent! I do not know how this company has a 4 star rating. I would never steer anyone towards this company. The automatic renewal if you do not cancel on time is fraud and a scam. You will be held to pay it or else. This is home security not a mortgage or a car payment that you are stuck with til the home or car is paid off VIO. If think your service is terrible and we want to cancel we should be able too! Customer service laughing at us on the phone while trying to cancel our service is unacceptable! Customer service remarks.......laughing at you, mocking you, being sarcastic, refused to get supervisor when asked, said they were unavailable, it is like talking to a 6th grader. I could go on and on but what would that accomplish.......

Stay Away !!! They charged $810 to install equipment. You have a 3 year contract and also pay monthly. I suspect the motion dectors are not working. They charge $75 to check. If equipment isn't working after 6 months you have to pay to replace equipment. How many times will you have to pay for the equipment over your 3 year contracted monthly charges. Alarm has been triggered but never have received a call. Do they really monitor your alarm system. This is a rip off. Go with Brinks or ADT. I was also told by the sales person that they would pay off my contract with Brinks if I switched. I ended up paying Brinks $340 and never got reimbursed. So it cost me $810 for equipment, $340 to pay off Brinks Contract, plus $35 month to monitor. PLUS...if the equipment fails after 6 months of your 3 year contract you have to pay for more equipment.

When this company was GHS I would have given it a 5 star rating.
I have been with this company for years. I was told I would have to upgrade to 5G my system would not work when in a few months it went to 5G. I would have to pay for the upgrade. I told the numerous people that call for this company the same thing - I shouldn't have to pay for the upgrade. Finally after the 8th call i was getting annoyed and said get me a supervisor. The after the 5th after that I got a supervisor and agreed to split the install, I signed another 3 year contract, they agreed not to raise my rates. I was told that a third party install company would call to set the install up. This was 3 weeks ago and have not heard from any install company. Bad business period. Who is training these people. Half of them can't make a complete, literate sentence. They are just reading off of a script. I know am having trouble getting thru to let them know that I have not had a installer call me.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS DECENT OR GOOD ABOUT THIS COMPANY- STAY AWAY- The salesperson and technician have QUIT. The Installation tech FALSIFIED installation records. Luckily I know the Salesperson and I'm having him verify what actually happened. NOTHING works. I had Conway heating and cooling come to my home to very the smart thermostat is inoperable. The glass break sensors fell off the wall on day 2. the doorbell NEVER WOrkED. VIO sent a new tech today that was aggressive and rude when I asked if he was vaccinated? Well, my mom is taking CHEMO and I need to KNOW??? I WANT TO CANCEL THIS DEBACLE ASAP!!! I've filed a complaint with the BBB and Federal Trade Commission. I'm LIVID.

I gave you a one because it would not let me move forward with this review. Worst service ever. Can't get anyone from their head quarters or in leadership to call me. ""SAD"" I have been working on a problem with my system for the last month. I have called several times only to be promised someone will call me. crickets. You ask to speak to a supervisor and the team member tells you they are conveniently at lunch and apparently there is no CEO address to write to or a corporate office. All giving me a run around. Meanwhile my security system does not work properly. my contract is up in for a month. You all called got me on another sorry contract and now I am experience this same old mess as everyone else. If I could run from you all, I would. This company is horrible, I would never recommend you anyone ever again!!! PEOPLE, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM VIO OR WHOEVER THEY ARE. OMG!!!

***Most, if not all, of the 5 Star reviews for this company must be fake, because every other customer review website which I have seen gives Vio Security overwhelmingly bad ratings***
I am giving Vio Security a bad rating, as I have had nothing but problems with this company's customer service, accounting, and billing practices.
I have been a customer of GHS/Vio Security since September 2018. I used to have my $45 monthly alarm monitoring fee deducted directly from my checking account until they arbitrarily raised my monthly fee without prior notice earlier this year. When I signed my 3 year contract, it was explained to me that the $45 monthly fee which I would be paying would not be raised during the life of my contract, which is scheduled to expire in September 2021. Since I am holding Vio to the terms of the contract, I refuse to pay their fee increase. To ensure that they no longer charged me the higher monthly fee, I called up my bank and revoked Vio Security's authority to deduct my monthly account fees from my checking account. I obtained Vio Security's mailing address in Woodland Hills, California and on May 13th, I mailed them a check in the amount of $180.00, which represents payment of my monthly alarm monitoring fees through the end of the contract.
When my check had not been cashed after a reasonable amount of time, I contacted Vio Security on June 9th via Facebook Messenger and asked them if the company had received my check, and if they did, why hadn't they cashed it. A couple of hours later, a Vio Customer Service Representative responded that the company had received my check, but the reason why they hadn't cashed it was because they were short-staffed due to COVID-19. I replied back that I understood the reason for the delays, but I wanted them to deposit my check as quickly as possible. The CSR responded that the accounting office did not deposit checks into the company's bank account until the end of the week. In response, I replied, "fine, just make sure that someone deposits my check as soon as possible". Well today is July 8th, 8 weeks since I mailed a check to Vio Security, and 4 weeks since my Facebook Messenger discussion with that Vio Security CSR, and my check STILL has not been cashed!
I don't know what's going on over at Vio Security, but how do they expect to stay in business if they won't or can't deposit their customer's checks into their bank? I've never had to practically beg a company to cash a check that I sent them! Needless to say, I intend on severing my relationship with Vio Security when my contract expires in two months. I hope that they don't plan on playing any games with me, like saying that I never paid for my last four months of service, or that I never notified them that I wish to terminate my contract. I have copies of all of my contact with Vio Security, in the form of a transcript of my Facebook Messenger text conversation with that Vio Security CSR. If they do decide to play games and try to screw me over, I will have no problem filing a complaint against the company with the Arizona Attorney General's Office!

signed up for service with GHS which was eventually bought out by VIO. My contact started in May of 2016 and ended in May of 2021. I was 2 weeks late and cancelling. They are now going to bill me for an entire year because I did not cancel on time did not cancel on time. I called to cancel and was on hold for 45 minutes and hung up on I called back and was unhold for 45 minutes and told that they would get me to the. My spouse and I have been dealing with cancer and the pandemic within this last year and they do not care they are going to charge me for an entire year and I don't even use their service. They offered no other suggestions nor did they have any compassion. Do not use this company because all they care about is money

VIO Security / GHS are scam artists. They use predatory practices and force you to send a physical letter and jump through countless other hoops in order to stop your contract from auto renewing. The worst part is that if you don't do all these things at least 30 days prior to your contract renewing, it auto renews regardless of what you do after the fact. HORRIBLE. No representative is understanding, or cares that we're in a global pandemic, and there's no reason why we should be sending a physical letter, paying for postage, when a simple email or phone call should suffice.

Been a customer since 2014. Always paid by auto deduct. No late payments. We had a service upgrade 3 years ago that locked us into a 3 year contract. We called several times last year about cancelling and confirmed the term was up 1/12/2021. We explained we would no longer need the service. Never once did a customer service rep mention a written notice 30 days before term date by snail mail in order to cancel and that the policy would auto renew and lock us into another year if letter not received. We called on 1/4 or 1/5 to ask for the service to term since it was up 1/12. We were told sorry it auto renewed for another year. Yes I realize now there is a ‘Term’ wording on document that no one went over with us. Company is not transparent. We spoke with a Supervisor and were able to terminate with a cancellation fee. We paid a cancellation fee but the term wasn’t even up. I feel taken advantage of and robbed. We had been good customers. Not happy and feel this is a bad policy to trap people.

I was able to locate your account and it appears that you were able to work with an account specialist to close your account. If you decide that you need security in your new home, we can apply the cancellation fee to a new system for you. We can even get you on a month to month contract moving forward with Vio.

Got an alarm system to protect my home and turns out the alarm company is the real thief. Worst company EVER!!!! Do not do business with them.
I was a loyal customer for several years (my contract term). My bill was auto paid on my credit card every month. When my contract ended last year GHS reached out to me and asked if I wanted to renew for a new term and lower payment. I told them I was not interested in renewing and wanted to be month to month with them.
Now six months later when I call GHS to cancel (took three phone call before I got a response) their phone rep tells me that I am now under a new contract and I have to pay a penalty to cancel before the new contract expires. He also informs me that the only way I could cancel was by writing a letter and mailing it 30 days before the new contract expires to their company headquarters. They will not accept a phone call for cancellation. When I asked the GHS rep for the contract that put me into this "NEW" contract for another year he could not produce one.
Absolute rubbish. Tactics like this are disgusting. Do you think Amazon would ever be the company they are today if they treated their customers like this? Guess I get to spend the next few days writing terrible reviews for GHS on every review web-site, with the Better Business Bureau and disputing the charges with my credit card.
Must feel great for the management and employees of GHS to know that their company generates revenue by cheating their customers wherever and however they can. How do you even justify this GHS? I mean look at all the terrible reviews on just this site. You must all be so proud.

I'm a senior citizen 75 years of age and on a fixed income.
My wife passed away last year and I found it necessary to down size and put my house up for sale.
When I received a renewal notice I decided to cancel as I could not afford to continue their increased service fee. And by the way the renewal notice was due the day I received it in the mail.( How Convenient ? )
At this point I had fulfilled my 3 year contract.
However, little did I know that I would have to hire a lawyer to review the contract as I found out the fine print stipulates that if you do not send notice of cancelation before the due date you will have to pay a $250.00 late fee.
I was informed by phone that I would be responsible for the annual fee plus the penalty fee, amounting to $820.00 or it would be sent to collections.
They did give me a 10% discount resulting in a $738.00 payoff.
What kind of company is this???
Buyer Beware!!!!!
GHS is a Lying Deceitful Company.
Do no business with them.
I can only hope that one day their Lying Deceitful ways will be their end!

This is the absolute worst company!!! We moved in Oct to a new home. At that time I provided them with the new address to move our system and update our address in their files. 3 different times I have had to request a change of address even though they have been to my home twice! The address still wasn't changed and when I call I get excuses of how it is another company that has to update it not them. The way I found out that it still wasn't updated was that our alarm was triggered by a family member opening the door when the alarm was set. Normally there is someone that calls over the security system to see if we are ok and ask for our verbal password. Fail #1! Then they called and I returned the call and gave my password saying we were all safe Fail #2! Then the police department calls me asking if I'm ok, clearly the GHS has not contacted them. Mind you it was the wrong city police calling me! Fail #3
THEY SENT THE POLICE TO MY OLD ADDRESS IN ANOTHER TOWN!! TOTAL FAILURE!!! had this been a real emergency who knows what would have happened.
I have contacted GHS more than a dozen times trying to get this straight, now I want my contract ended and they are saying they will give me 2 months free! SERIOUSLY!! it took them 6 months and major failures on their part to change my address! I have also had my system shut down for no apparent reason then I get a message saying it's back up and running. I have also had it on it's own say armed then disarmed and I have not done this, so who is? I am ready to hire a lawyer to get out of this contract and I am FOR SURE reporting this to the better business bureau of Arizona!! This company has horrible customer service!! It is a total scam! I do not at all recommend it and I will tell everyone I know never to use it.

The answer to question 1 this company is not deserving of a rating at all GHS is the absolute worst company I've ever experienced. My security system was installed in Dec. 2018 I've had nothing but problems. They installed cameras with low batteries and one on my cameras was defected. I had to purchase a wi-fi extender for all the cameras to work and I replaced the batteries in one camera they are very expensive.
I was told I had only 3 days to cancel the contract after a week of complaints. I couldn't cancel the contract. Finally, after several months of bickering with this company they can out and installed all new cameras which took 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. Customer service is a disgrace they don't return calls and getting a tech to come out is almost impossible. Right now I'm waiting on a tech to come out to replace a control panel that was blacked out during an storm 5 days ago. The tech was supposed to call me no one has called I had to call them and after 3 attempts I'm about to call again. I am several years past my lengthy 3 year contract. And all this time thought I was month-to-month now since my 3 year contract expired. I called GHS today to cancel my monitoring service and they told me I have to keep paying until my "term" is up (10 months from now). They said my contract automatically renews for 1 year unless I send a cancellation letter by mail (and they confirm by phone call) at least 30 days before the end of my term. This is a scam! They NEVER sent me any notice before (or after) the end of any "term" and this is so I automatically get locked in for another year! What a ripoff. Also my motion sensor has never worked right (always says "low battery") and when I asked that they send someone out to replace their malfunctioning equipment they want to charge me $35 for a service call! Their monthly fee is too expensive and their customer service sucks. I'm switching. But I'm checking with my attorney to see if it is even legal to automatically renew without any warning before getting locked in.

Please! Please! Please! Don’t do business with this company!!! I have tried on 3 separate occasions to cancel my service ! I was told to send my request in writing, so I did, twice. But, they continued to charge me for their “services”. Each time I sent a letter, I called them and was told they never received the letters. Finally, after over 6 months of phone calls, a customer service representative said to send it certified mail, which I did. They received the letter, but charged me again!! I was then told my letter wasn’t received 30 days before the contract automatically renewed, so now I was on the hook for another year!!! They have promised over and over to have a representative call me back, but they never do... I am still in the process of trying to get this resolved. I started this process in January of 2018.... It’s going on a year... If I could, I would give this company NO stars!!

I was given so much information on how awesome they are and all the services they would provide to secure my home. I was told they offer hard wire cameras to secure our home and state Wifi was not required. Installation on the sensors and door knob was completed but cameras I was told would be installed that Saturday. That was 3 weeks ago. I finally called yesterday and I was told they would send the technician out today, Friday 11/30/2018 at 1pm. Well, they just called that they do not have the cameras to install and that they would not come today. Why am I not surprised? Horrible company and the business they provide. Lying to get customers to fall for their false advertisement and business. Demanded they come and pick up their equipment by the end of today.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! They are not honest!! I contacted them so they can transfer the equipment to my new home, I kept hearing from them every time I called that a technician would contact me, which never happened. I had to keep calling them and by the time Someone called to schedule the transfer of equipment I had already moved out and had no possession of the keys or home where the old equipment was. They scheduled to install at new place come to find out they were only installing doors, security panel and no windows. When I questioned they claimed that since the old equipment was left in the other home they couldn't give me all the equipment and that they were only going to provide what they had offered me. What the use of home security if your windows are not secured? I told them that it was not my fault that they didn't scheduled the transfer before I moved out. They should of came out and transferred before my keys were due at the rental. If I wanted the rest of the equipment wich would cover the rest of the windows, 8 windows in my home I would have to sign another 3 year contract. BS
Which from what I remember sales guy said Any time you move and your home is bigger and need more equipment it will be installed at no extra cost. Which in my case They insist that for the 8 windows I would have to purchase the sensors, or they can install if I do another 3 year contract to cover the costs. Sales people say anything to make the sale, they lied, when I signed up with them they said equipment was free no cost with 3 year contract, now that I moved and needed my windows covered they pull this BS, That I have to purchase or agree with another 3 year contract!!
I cancelled and won't be doing business with them anymore!
STAY AWAY FROM GHS!! Dishonest and misleading info, not professional!

I was sold the system in Jan 2017, it was a neighborhood push, going door to door. I explained that we would be moving out of state in about 1 year, the sales person told me that if I moved and could not use the system, that I could return the system, and pay a nominal separation fee for ending the contract early. Being that I wanted a security system for my home, I did agree and took the system, well shame on me. I did not read the contract in full. You have to pay the full contract, no matter how long you have the service or the system. Buyer beware of GHS high pressure sales and dishonest field managers and sales staff, read your contract fully, DO NOT TRUST anything they tell you, only trust the contract. Shame on me; however, I still feel it is prudent to warn buyers to be careful. GHS also wanted me to pay the full contract, even though I was not going to be provided any service for the remaining portion of that contract. Basically they wanted all the money with no service. Also, make sure you are aware that they require a certified letter at least 30 days in advance of your contract expiration or they will auto renew for 1 year and you are liable for that year, even if you miss it by a day. The devil is in the details, so be careful, read everything. I am now paying a monthly payment for a security system that is not in service and not connected. Again, shame on me.

They are fraudulent with both their employees and customers. They are highly unethical and will do anything to get a system in a home. They load up their employees in a van and drop them off to invade the neighborhood. They say they just want to give you information, but as they're talking to you, then their team leader shows up and acts like he/she knows what he is doing and pushes to get inside your home so you have to listen to them. NONE OF THEM ARE LICENSED TO DESIGN OR PLAN A SECURITY/FIRE SYSTEM, which makes them selling an alarm system illegal. Also, their perception of security is a front door sensor, back door sensor, and a motion sensor. The reality is that if a door or a motion sensor is tripped, then they're already in your home. They lie to their employees and lie to their customers. They are a horrible company to do business with, so if you truly value your safety, choose a reputable security company, which isn't GHS

Despite what they say, it is in fact a scam, any business that makes it impossible to cancel unwanted service is a scam. Like others here, we called to cancel service in March, GHS reminded us that our 36 month contract was up in July. Fine, it's July, we call to cancel and they say they needed a written/mailed cancellation notice by July 5th, so we are automatically renewed for another year. Nowhere do they tell you this, and there's nothing they can do (right). If they would only stop to consider that money may be tight right now and that we would most likely reactivate in the future. Instead, not only would we never use GHS again, we will make sure to tell everyone we know to steer clear. *Now cue the GHS rep to remind of us of the contract we signed and give us a lesson in business...

I am upset and disappointed with this company. My cancellation letter was 8 days late( I will be done with my 3 years contract on August 16, 2017 and I needed to send my cancellation letter at least 30 days before the end of my contract. I sent the letter on July 24) so they are going to "autorenew" the contract for another year. I can understand one month but one year. this is 56 dollars every month that I will pay for service that I do not want.
Please do not do business with this company. when one has to sign a contract for 3 years, pay $56.00 and they know that is hard to remember to send this cancellation letter on time. this is setting people up for failure. One can get cheaper service with no contract with other companies. So now I am attach to GHS for one more year :(

When Mitch got us to switch from Moni he assured us the verbal contract Moni claims to have with us was not legal in California and GHS will by out the contract if there is one. Later when Moni said we owe for 26 months remaining on our contract I asked Mitch for any documentation he could get me to support his claim. He told me he would check with the GHS legal dept and get back to me. That was the last time I heard from Mitch and he stopped returning my phone calls. Then I was working with Isabel but she doesn't take or return my calls anymore either. Since then I have been bounced around between account managers with each one telling me don't worried Moni doesn't have a legal contract with you but I'm the one that keeps get billing notices from Moni. I'm the one that will get sent to collections. I'm the one who will take the credit hit. Bottom line is they will tell you anything to get you to sign but won't back it up when it counts. Now I have Moni billing me and GHS billing me I'm stuck in the middle with no help in sight. Think carefully be for you believe anything these guys tell you to get you to sign.

SCAM! My mother has been with this for years. Her alarm would go of and no one would call to make sure was ok. She called in February to find out when her contract expired and was told May 2022. She was told to call back sometime in May to cancel. She called in May and was then told she had to mail in a letter to cancel. She immediately sent in the letter and called to confirm they received the letter a week later. At that point she was told that the letter was received too late and her account had been auto renewed for another year! At this point we are going to have to take legal action.

My 84 year old mother has moved to a retirement home and can not transfer the service. They do not offer to help solve the issue, only want more money to give her what she is already paying for. Clearly not a company that cares about their customers and honestly is taking advantage of an elderly woman. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

After 3 years you will auto renew for another year of service ,they will not let you cancel. You need to write a letter with details the company ask for to cancel. Advise here certify the letter track it because they will say they haven't received it. Equipment you need served, you pay for it thats what you signed. Some rare few times my fam forgot about the alarm on ,we had false alarm go off but this careless company did not care to check on the family safety. We had GHS with no complaints. If the alarm went off they were quick to call and send someone if we asked. Never an issue.
Our alarm went off April 28th and it was the first time since the acquisition. The company called and asked if we wanted to send someone. We said yes.
The lady then said, “Oh, we have no account for you. We can’t send anyone.”
We have paid by auto deduct every month since we installed the system. I will be requesting a full refund of our monthly fee dating back to the time Vio acquired GHS. This situation was unacceptable and dangerous.

I have spent SEVERAL hours on the phone speaking to different people ( which all say they will call you back and only 2 have ever done that). I was told yesterday after ALL this time that you would let me out of my contract because there was no one to fix my alarm in our area. Was told I would receive an email so I could cancel contract and of course just like everything else with your company DID NOT happen.

I have been in contact with them for over a month. My control panel does not work, so I am paying for a service I cannot use. Each time I call I am put on hold and given the run around. We will have someone call you back.....they never do. I finally just asked to cancel my contract....they can’t do that but they can take my money every month with no service. I have contacted BBB and filling out my report noticed they had an F rating. Should of done my research before signing contract. Previously had Vivint and loved it, switched to save a little money and get some cameras. Big mistake!

We are moving from AZ to WI and called to have them transfer service. They have no service in WI so they informed me I would have to pay $1,844.00 to get out of my contract. How is this fair??? I offered them $400 and they refused it. They told me they will turn me over to collections and ruin my credit. This is the worst company I have ever been involved with. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!They said the contract was for the AZ address but they were willing to move it to another address in AZ so to me that means it's not for this address!!!

They also "lose" your cancellation letter at their convince and have no recordings or paper work stating that you tried to cancel at any time. If anything the company is a complete fraud and now seeking legal actions to get all my money back from the start of the service for the stress of trying to cancel.

Listen to other reviewers...this company is a bunch of crooks. Like others have said, if the contract auto-renews, you can't get out of the contract until the end of the next year. Ours auto-renewed on November 30th of 2018, and we filled out their cancellation form as they requested on January 2nd, sent it Certified Mail, and got the receipt confirmation on January 14th. They never responded to the letter, and are still charging us in July. Do not open your doors, or your account to these crooks, they will make you pay dearly.

Don’t do it. Contract auto renews annually. They make it near impossible to cancel. They insist on billing you for the entire year no matter when you cancel. So, if you signed a contract on June 30, 2014 and you cancel on 7/1/2018, they charge you until 6/30/2019.
Their phone employees “customer service” must deal with this frequently. They’re very quick to tell you that you signed a contract and offer to send you the contract.

This alarm system is not bad for a business. They have done EVERYTHING they can to not let me out of the contract. This system does not work with our front door. Horrible customer service I have never received a return call. The system is very cheap it took him 20 minutes to install. I wish I would have read the reviews run, run, run! Ernie A was our salesperson he lied to get us to sign up. Once we let him know it didn't work he wouldn't have anything to do with us. He got his sale and ran. I am also contacting BBB.

If I could give this agency an 0 I would. They are frauds, I was told I needed to cancel by letter, after being extended one year over and over. My contract was up in February 2018. I sent letter August 2017. They claimed they did not receive it, and extended AGAIN!!!!!!. I AM CURRENTLY FIGHTING THEM, BUT SO FAR HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL. My next step is to block them at my bank to stop auto payment. I could give a damn if it is sent to collections. DO NOT, DO NOT USE THIS ALARM AGENCY!!!!

Our experience with Vio has been awful. If 0 stars was an option, that’s what they would have got. Customer service is horrible. System hasn’t worked in almost 2 months yet I can’t get anyone to fix it and they continue to draft the monthly fee for a system that is inoperable. Take your business elsewhere!

do not get them, they lie about repair time, no one to contact, did not know i had to send a letter of cancellation until 12-22-21, was never told that on 10-2-21 when i called for repair, so i called and cancelled.the company has no structure, customer service, truth about the changing
