Love the app and easy use of features. Only issue that I wish they would work is the ability to snooze the camera activity. For example when you are working outside or kids playing - camera is constantly whistling and pinging you. It can be very frustrating.

I like the panel and the thermostat, and the camera, however, the doorbell with camera are lacking. First it would be nice if the doorbell would hook up to the original doorbell for sound since the panel is not very loud. Also, it constantly loses connection with panel, which isn't very good for a doorbell since you do not know if someone is at the door.i also was double charged and even triple charged some months on my bill since July. Hopefully that was resolved.

Vivint has allowed my husband and I to feel safely assured to leave our teenagers to attend virtual school while we work. Having cameras all around our home and setting up virtual lock in (setting the alarm)helps my children feel safe while we're at work

I am happy to have cameras and an alarm system for peace of mind when I leave my house. Video quality on the cameras are nice and I thought the equipment and service was affordable. But, I am unhappy that our sales rep did not inform us that we needed to purchase a separate piece of equipment to be able to view the recordings of the day. So we can only view what our cameras catch, and sometimes it has not been enough. One of the main reasons I wanted the system was because my parents have the same service with Vivint and showed me that feature. When I called their customer service about the issue, I was told my only option was to pay in full for the equipment (instead of it being added onto our loan). So that was a bummer. Also, I was referred by my parents for the system and they have yet to receive any of the "referral incentives" as advertised by the company, so they aren't happy about that aspect...

I really enjoy using Vivint. I like how everything is streamlined through the app. Nothing is perfect but overall for the most part things are smooth. The only issue is have is with my doorbell camera and Vivint doesn't know how to fix it. The company just needs to make sure their app runs smooth and fix bugs and major issues with their products especially their doorbell camera. I'm considering swapping mine out for another brand because of the plethora amount of issues I have with that product.

Presentation was very good. Main reason for signing up. Installation not so much. 1)Service was rushed (due to installers trying to win a contest) Doorbell was installed on the front of the house. Prior to installing, doorbell worked for both front and back doors. 2)After installation my back door bell no longer worked. 3) cannot hear VIvinit doorbell in back bedroom. Panel is installed in kitchen. The salesperson did return for follow up; that was good. We told him of our issues and he indicated someone would get back in touch with us to rectify. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. Called salesperson and left message regarding this, NEVER HEARD BACK.

It's OK. Need to offer additional services like the keypad should be able to have a code, customers should have the option to request an aditional key pad. I cannot hear my door bell when upstairs and my mobile phone does ring to let me know someone is at the door. Only the keypaid downstairs indicates and I'm not able to see who's at the door until a quick flash on the phone if I'm near it.

We have alarm, camera and thermostat systems with y'all. I use them for our businesses and the main reason we picked Vivant was because we could see all accounts on one login. I will not recommends this system to anyone with only one house or business though. The inability to schedule the thermostats for seven unwise days is archaic technology and maddening. A $60 wifi thermostat from Home Depot allows this. I was told you used to have it, but now you have a “Wizard" and only Weekday or Weekend. We're close Sunday and Monday so for two days the thermostat just runs for nothing. We've tried the wizard, but it I've noticed, even with limits set, that is will be running when no ones in the building. Just give us seven individual day control and stop thinking you know what we need more than we do.

Excellent, vivint has the best monitoring with the best products for a security company... indoor camera design needs improvement, but the outdoor and DBC are very nice. Customer service needs to be made a higher priority, train each department how to transfer and what everyone does so customers don't go through 10 transfers

The sales rep wasn't very honest. Also i was told by the sales rep i had a 30 day free trial but he never gave me a slip verifying that luckily the technician did. He never made me aware that i had 3 days to cancel if i liked it and didn't inform me about the loan process. Didn't tell me they would take money out before the trial was over.

I love my state-of-the-art and the customer service has been good overall. however my sales representative didn't have any literature on the service when she did her sales call and she promised me the first three months free. Which were not that was a disappointment. But I have not had any trouble with my service. Hopefully this review will allow me to get those months I was promised.

Company and service have been solid ever since I signed up with them. I even had multiple incidents caught on camera which assisted in investigations with the police in capturing some people who had broken into homes in the area.

I've had issues with a camera at one time. That I had to call about multiple times. They were always helpful n came out asap always on time when they said they be here. As for the system I have I love it wouldnt reccomend anyone else

Vivint has an integrated solution for your video capture of the cameras. The videos are put on a hard drive and there's a phone in the base module for emergencies. The equipment all works together and there isn't any trouble with different components of the system conflicting with each other. Their sales person wasn't very honest about the equipment being purchased as part of a loan, and I don't like doing loans. Whenever I call in, they make sure I go through security questions to verify I'm the right person.

Their equipment is reliable and seems to be doing its job. I'm comfortable using the system because it hasn't had any issues. The man who came to install my system was great. He was informative and took care of everything. When I had to call in about an issue, and I wasn't pleased with how they handled the issue with my system. If you have a brand new installed system that isn't operating properly, they make you solve the problem rather than taking care of it themselves.

Vivint was in the neighborhood offering a good installation fee as well as same day installation. They installed everything professionally and everything's worked smoothly ever since. I like the fact that I can arm and disarm it from anywhere and that I can check in and see how things are going and if our dog walkers are there each day.

I was impressed with Vivint's reputation before I signed up with them. The best thing about their system is you can see who's coming to your home when you're not there. There is a notification when the door is open. I've never had a problem with this company - they are the best security company I have ever known.

It was a good move for me to switch to Vivint since I was unhappy with my previous provider. I really like the app experience where everything is in one place. I was able to integrate my nest with my current security system. I haven't had much interaction with customer service, but the initial set up was very smooth. The panels are nice and the doorbell works very well. The cameras are high quality.

I think the company has great intentions and the idea. The technology doesn't reflect the price. I've only been a vibrant customer for about 3 months and have had over 5 false alarms. Had to have my thermometers replaced because the first tech installed them wrong and cost me 100's to have the HVAC guy figure it out. My fire alarm has went off for no reason and one of my door sensors says open even when it's closed. The tech says it's fine. Maybe it's me but I feel like for the price this thing should be better. I'm not even going to go into the app. That thing is buggier than a termite log. The sales people and techs are great and listen to me complain but if the company had the issues squared away I wouldn't even need to talk to them.

I am very happy. The live camera in the doorbell is 1000 time better than when I had the Ring doorbell. The audio is much better also. What I really like is I can turn off my alarm and unlock the door when I get close to my house. No more fumbling for keys in the dark.

Wonderful. I feel much more secure with the security system. I live by myself and have access to the house through three ground floor windows. With vivint alarms on them I feel much safer. And the security system on them does work as one of my neices opened on not knowing the system was armed. She always asks now .

They’re pretty good. I had Vivint a couple of years ago so when I bought another house, I knew who I was going to go with. The best thing is the camera. The cameras show really good and the motion detector goes off every time somebody walks through the house.

Really enjoyed speaking with the salesman. He was pretty convincing. When I first got it installed, a couple of days later, they had to come back out and replace a camera, since the first was faulty but other than that I am pretty satisfied. I like that I get alerts whenever the camera detects someone.

Vivint has many features we like. The thing that we like the least is consistency. Prior to signing an agreement with Vivint, we had Ring. I dislike that Vivint cameras only record 20 second clips. If a camera begins recording because of motion, it will only record for 20 seconds instead of recording the entirety of the motion. Most often, after the camera has recorded a clip, it will not record another clip for quite a long period of time, despite repeated motion within the cameras detection area. We've had good experiences with customer service and all other features are typical of a budget home alarm system. We like the wall panel and the ability to view live, high quality video. The app also provides a lot of options for customization. But consistent recording of motion is really important to us.

Vivint has left me with a good sense of security for my home. The smart doorbell camera alerts me of when my packages arrive and warns me about suspicious activity around my front door. I had been with ADT for 10 of years and they never offered me an upgrade and my rates were going up so I switched to Vivint. I like having the app to look at my property. Customer service know how to solve a lot of issues. A lot of times when you call people they don’t know how to solve it and it takes a long time. They are trustworthy and good.

Sometimes we have weather related issues with it being a little slow. I can call the same person who sold it to be even though tis is not in my immediate city anymore and he goes above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable and straight forward. There is no hiding things.
