For starters! The rep. came to the door and asked if we had the newest alarm model. He then said that Vivint (who we were through) was there brother company, And that our contract was up with them so he would like to give us a security camera for the front door , and street for free for being a loyal customer. We of course agreed since my husband wanted a camera for a while no. He said he would cancel our Vivint account for us as well ( no worries ma'am). So they installed everything, And signing was a little weird, ( I signed an I-Pad, No paperwork) . So the forst of the month rolls around , And I notice that I am being charged still from Vivint, then a week later, ADT. I called both companies and got no where :/.. I finally got sent to a vivint customer care person who told me that we still are under there contract until 2020 . SO NOW! I am being charges=d for noth , And can't get anyone to work with me on this. Vivint told me to cancel all payment from bank for ADT, And send a registered letter to them (who has that kind of money) UUUGH! I talked to ADT safestreets again and they said that someone would contact me ASAP, I have heard nothing since :(.. DO I call again, And be all day on the phone trying to explain all of this again? I am disabled, my brain does not work well under stress. Sorry for the rant.

I have had my SS system for just over a year so I have enough info now to write a review. I gave them only three stars, but only for very good support and response time. The alarm has trigger twice since I've had it, once because a door blew open and the other may have been an actual attempted burglary which was unsuccessful. Response time is better than Vector or ADT (I've had both) although it is outsources like most. Now we come to the hardware, which is junk. I give it a two stars out of five. First, the chime volume on the keypad is not adjustable and is so faint, we can barely hear it coming in the back door from 15 feet away-I've set the alarm off twice for that reason, and my hearing tests fine. Then the chime went mute, so I had them send me a new keypad, which was no better, so that component is nowhere near the quality of my Simon system I had with Vector. In addition, the "siren" on the base unit wouldn't scare a mouse away. I even bought the "super loud" outdoor siren and it is so wimpy, you can barely hear it from inside of the house. In contrast, the outdoor siren that my ADT and Vector systems would wake the dead, so while my SS system does dial the authorities, the most important feature is to scare away the bad guys, which this system will likely not do. Now, I have a smoke alarm that won't quit chirping the "low battery" tone, even though I have now put three batteries in it, so it's going to have to be replaced. I paid $500 for this system (components are actually worth about $150 wholesale), but I wonder how long this junk will last once the warranty is up. If this is only going to be a "break even" for the difference in cost of a fully warranted ADT or Vector system, it's no bargain.

It had been used by the person who previously lived in the house we got, so we kept it. Customer service has always been very responsive when I call. Their systems are very user friendly too. The local technician that they sent out to the house for the installation was excellent. They all seem like great people.

I wanted my wife to feel safe since she's at home all the time. Customer support has been pretty good so far. They have reacted promptly the two times that the alarm sounded. The equipment has also been working pretty well, haven't had any problems with it so far. It's very safe and at $53 I think it's also affordable.

The system was already in place with the house and since a friend had ADT we decided to stay with it. The person that came in to do the installation did everything they had to do. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and knew their stuff well.

I went with them since they were a reputable company. I really haven't had that much interaction with their customer service outside of the installation. The system and equipment are ok and they serve their purpose, though it would be nice if the units and batteries were rechargeable and if the things were a bit smaller and more discrete.

We saw that people around the neighborhood had it so we decided to go with them. The installation people came in and put everything in its place. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The equipment is also not bulky, it's just there.

I think I went with them just because they were well known. I really haven't had any issues with them, just a few with the guy that did the installation. He still did a good job though and was very informational. Everything seems to check out with the equipment and it has worked well when we tested it.

I had seen it advertised on T.V. so I decided to get it. I think it's very good and I'm happy, though I really don't know how it's going to turn out. I'm expecting it to be good though. Their equipment is up to date and their people are pretty much on the ball, very helpful. I was very happy with them and the people that installed it.

I haven't run into any issues with them though. Their equipment is user friendly, clean, small, and very intuitive.

Dennis S came out to my house to install a home security alarm unit on March 14, 2017. He was very professional. He let me know of all the equipment available and explained the purpose of each equipment. He was not pushy which I liked that. Most importantly, he patiently explained the alarm system to me. I rate Dennis a 10.

Originally my fiancé thought we were getting a contract with ADT...needless to say some guy with a broken down looking Honda and a shirt that says safestreets shows up to install. We were supposed to get our whole house, every window and door with sensors and 2 cameras as well as the glass breaking things to cover the house and 2 keyphobs for $69 a month...nope now they're saying $205 a month for faulty equipment that doesn't work. It goes off for no reason and doesn't go off when you would think it needs to by testing it yourself. Trying to cancel and they're giving my fiancé the run around as well as the last guy that was here as well as the first took all the boxes to the equipment with him. The last cameras they put up have QR codes you're supposed to save so that they're easily installed again or on my phone too because I was not present for the second guy coming out and putting up different cameras because the first ones were faulty. Now I can't even get access to the system whatsoever. Only my fiancé can and for whatever reason we had to go from using ADT's app to Google home but when I search for the device my phone can't find any of them and they have given us no help whatsoever and after reading the reviews I would haveade sure we never had anything to do with them. It sounds to me like they're total scammers everywhere. That is illegal and I am going to talk to a lawyer about what we can do because now we feel even more unsafe than we ever have! They are just not right! Don't use them, you will for sure be in a bad not to mention overpriced, faulty system situation. In my opinion everyone that has had this happen needs to get them shut down, taken to court and sewed! They don't care about who they are servicing. Alarms going off. They don't even send anyone to check to make sure everything is okay! It was nothing but the point being is that my fiance had a broken phone and they just called and left a message and nothing else. I want the equipment removed and all of our money back! I will do everything in my power to make sure these scammers can't scam anyone else.

We had the most terrible experience I have ever had with any company, and continue to a year later. We were pushed to get every feature available, we were sold old and dated equipment while being told it was “new and the best of the best”. The installer profiled us, we put our trust in him as he was an ex police officer and he took advantage of us. We were also overcharged for equipment we did not receive. We were charged $4,300 for terrible cameras that never work. Every time we try to get assistance, Safe Streets tells us ADT bought our contract and they are liable. ADT has made it clear that Safestreets did not even install our cameras correctly to begin with. ADT has said Safe Streets needs to collect our equipment and issue our refund. Safestreets has completely ruined our experience and finances when it comes to additional safety for our family and home. On top of it all, it is only $1,069 to get the top tier brand new ADT system. AGAIN, we were charged almost $5,000 by SAFESTREETS for terrible equipment that constantly fails our family!!!! This jeopardizes our safety and security. I recommend going to ADT directly! We have never been treated or scammed like this with any other company. We expected better, SAFESTREETS…

We had to cancel due to unprofessional people. Took a week for them to take out equipment, leaving us with many holes in walls and ceilings. After taking off work twice ($400 off my paycheck) they “forgot” to call and notify me (after I had to call supervisor) since I’m no longer a customer there not responsible to fix anything or put back anything, and that the supervisor “ will not answer any more questions nor am I allowed to speak to anyone higher nor will my calls be taken”. I will never recommend nor use Safe street or ADT companies. And I will be discussing my experience with EVERY person who signed up in my neighborhood :)

Great monitoring system, however, ADT continues to raise their prices annually, even without receiving any upgrades. I've been with them since 2005 and have not received any upgrades but prices keep going up. Talked to a representative and he tried to blame it on taxes. In 2006 cost was $32.00 + and through the years continually rising to now in 2021 is at $53. Again this is for the basic service, no upgrades. I'm also a Senior Citizen.

This Company has been the worst one I have ever dealt with. First of all, I paid for all of the equipment, and they still locked me into a 3 yr contract. Then after installing the equipment that I had to buy 800.00 the camera does not work. someone disconnected it. they told me that they would charge 101.00 plus 45 dollars to have a technician come out. this is cheating and taking advantage of people in order to have a security system. Now an agent tells me I have to go outside and unplug the camera. I will let everyone know that this company is not good to work with and BEWARE of all of the money and charges that they give to you. it's not worth it.

There was a promotional offer with them so I went and got it. I really haven't had any problems so far, but I haven't really tested them either. Still, their equipment is good. It has a lot of features on the panel that are very customer friendly, plus there's not a lot of wires so it's not an invasive things. I am a bit frustrated though since I did not receive a copy of my contract. There was something in it about me sending a $100 dollar rebate, but since I didn't have a copy I couldn't send it.
