We signed with them in 2019 in 2021 our contract was completed I contacted them and told them to cancel was told I couldn’t cancel. Since day one system didn’t work installer didn’t know what he was doing. And couldn’t get system to operate. He also damaged wall during installation . Which they did not repair. A second installer came out and again couldn’t get system to work had to get someone else to come out the 1st installer used his own password. So they were unable to get system to work . Had to intones system. We sold our home in 2022 . And still as of today they are still billing us. When I contacted them was told to pay my bill and they’ll install a system in my new home .they now have my bill at 2101.00 these people our con artists . And have multiple law suits in several states.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS. This place is filled with degenerates. Ever since I began working for this company, long term employees were quitting due to incompetent management and along the years I understood why. The managers and most service workers alike have either a disgusting criminal background, heavy history/current problems with drugs or some kind of mental disorder which is why this place is facing lawsuits like no other. The low iq managers that are rotting with this company can’t get a job anywhere else, unsurprisingly, given their lowlife backgrounds which is why the place has been going downhill and are extremely pretentious when anybody with a pair of eyes can see right through them and their scumbag business practices, a total facade. The owner does not mind hiring such bottom feeders as this allows minimum and very low wage payouts as well as little to no investment, their so called corporate office is extremely poor and dirty. There is close to no future left for this filthy company, as the state of Massachusetts is cracking the whip on them, feel free to lookup the reputation for these peasants online. Turnover rate is extremely high and incompetent bums with crackhead teeth, sweatpants, socks and sandals reign over this joke of a company with the few brain cells they have left. A company is only as good as their staff so beware of dealing with these inept fools as an potential employee or customer.

Safe Home Security is a very good alarm company. Travis installed our system over 5 years now and have no complaints. If there is an issue, they are on the phone in seconds to make sure everything is ok. I just got cameras added to my property and love them. The features of my home security system include security, cameras, doorbell camera, thermostats, locks, lighting and water detection. I love the app through Alarm.com and can see everything and control my system. Thank you Safe Home Security for protecting my home.

NO CONTRACT! When I moved my security system from a previous residence I signed up a month-to-month with a local monitoring company to install (at no cost) and monitor both fire and security $29.95mo. That company eventually sold out and my service was picked up by Safe Home Security. It has been more than 2 years now, and I am super happy with the monitoring provided. Using the Alarm.com application nothing could be easier. I initially had a problem getting signs and stickers but after a few calls all is well.

As mentioned in the profile above, their service is exceptionally good. Whenever we've set off the alarm by mistake, they are quick to respond, checking to see if we are all right. When we first had the alarm system installed, they used the equipment we already had from a previous company and we have had no problems since then. Once, when our hallway sensor went out, a service person came the next day and replaced the battery in the sensor. I think they are a much better company than where you have them rated.

Unhappy customer! I been a loyal customer since March of 2019 . Today I wanted to end my current contract due to financial crisis and I was told it automatically renewed to March of 2024 another agent told me it was renewed to 2026 WTH is going on here?? Customer service didn't want to work with me either it's basically a suck it up buttercup thing ?? My bad on my part because I didn't read the fine print but to renew it for 3 more years is crazy and ridiculous. A courtesy email would I've have prevented this situation. I have consistently made it explicitly clear that I do not wish to engage with Safe Home Security. If you want to retain customers after the initial year drop the contracts. Stuck in an out of date system and their solution is to renew with 4G for THREE YEARS! No other solution. So they get to collect another $45/month for the next 12 months and then goodbye. Do yourself a service and don't sign up with this company. They are going to run themselves out of business with old practices like multi year contracts when the competition isn't. You will get your year..and maybe two but this isn't a long-term business plan if you are going to survive. THREE YEARS of renewal??? That's your only solution..what a joke.

I am writing this explain to explain the complaint in regard to my account with Safe Home Security INC, I signed up with SHS since July 2021 and traveled overseas for health reason and had trusted in Safe Home Security to protect my house and to provide me the best service as I been promised. The equipment's installed in my house is faulty equipment's, The Alarm System is defective The equipment has been provided from independent contractor , I have cameras and alarm pad in the house all of it is faulty and bad quality , as well misrepresentation mad by your contractor unfairly lock me in long term contract, The Fees not what I been promised reached out multiple times to customer service to fix the issues didn’t get the right response, please note this is a breaching of trust As well when I reached out to the Billing Department which was very hard to reach, they explained for me that the free six months been promised is actually $4.99 so basically is not free and the monthly charges is $69.99 which this not what I agree on The billing department informed me that’s on the contract which was not represented to me or sent out, the Safe Home Security installation agents let us signed on a digital Tablet I hope someone hear my voice and honor the consumer protection act in USA, I would like to cancel the contact which been not represented to me and get refund for all the amounts I been charged since I signed up in July 2021. Note the alarm as well in my house been not alarmed for long time and that leaves my house without protection. Please respond to my review as soon possible and have the account cancel and the fees refunded

I wish you could give 0 stars. 1 star seems like too much. You sent I submitted a written and verbal request to cancel my services within the time allotted after my original contract was up. They ignored and signed me up for an additional year that I did not want. They hit my credit when I refused to pay as I was disputing the contract and had submitted a written request to cancel. Anytime I call to get an update on the status they say they will remove the credit hit if I sign up for more time with the company. Please make sure your installer is not selling to Safe Home. Their sales practices are deceptive and even customer service will try to upsell you. You will regret it if you sign up and try to get anything other than a lifetime contract.

I would like to voice my displeasure with your company , I reached out to your sales force towards the end of June about an issue we were having with not receiving notices to my email about when the system was armed and disarmed , I was notified by your sales rep Mike that the system was being updated , but also that we needed to update the usage as it was currently low and it needed to be updated and someone needed to come out to do that , but we needed to sign a new contract for 3 more years , I also inquired about getting some outdoor cameras, we signed the new contract and have paid for the cameras , to this date we have had numerous issues with install , and your company cancelling our booked appointments, now I am being told we cannot have another appointment not booked until 11/10/2020 , I advised my displeasure about this only to get a call back by mike that’s all they can do , I advised I am going to look for a company more local , I was told that we signed a contract for 3 more years and it will forced on us to buy out , now I ask you how is this fair , we have rescheduled our appointments around your schedule only yo get cancelled time in and out , we have paid for the cameras and signed the contract only to have nothing but broken appts from your company . Answer this for me , we have been a customer of your since 2014 and have paid for cameras and you have done nothing for us , when is this going to be resolved ? I want to give Negative grade! don't do any business with this company, and don't come close to them starting Feb 2020 our alarm system was getting insane charging it self when we were at home, start alarming for no reason (even when it wasn't on) and so on. we called the company to get it fixed - it took a month, they send some one who said they cannot fix it and they will send replacement after another month of false alarms we called again and again the same guy came with the same answer! at that point, he disconnect my alarm system completely. since then, after dozen call to the call center, we finally got a new system but no one came to install it!!!! it is ridiculous, we are trying to talk to some manager there, but we get no where. we are trying to get service and it will be only in a month! and they refuse to pay me for the months i got no service. i really wish i could break in the middle of my contract with them, but afraid it is illegal (if any one knows different please let me know) i never give such bad critics, but do your self a big favor - don't do anything with that company!!!!

this company SHS, is your worst nightmare ! Stay away. The committed fraud by pretending to be here to upgrade our system then admitted they were SHA and said they would make it soooo easy for us( because we are SR citizens and forgetful) by sending in a cancellation, signed by me, 2 months before our old contract expired, then they would just start servicing and charging us. They didn't cancel so our old company automatically renewed. Now they will not buyout our old contract because it has been over a year. we signed the contract in September but our service didn't start until March 2018. they never gave us a copy of our contract so I don't know how long its for. I cant afford to pay double for my alarm. Does anyone know how to fight them or put them out of business!!!!!!

Signed a contract with no termination rights for 36 months. Had one kitchen fire. They sent the alarm to the wrong town and didn't follow up with us or the fire department. The contract requires me to call them when the system requires service. I did in October. It is now January and they have still not scheduled my service call. When I told them, I was cancelling since I am beyond the 36-month period, they said I could not because I had signed a new contract which they couldn't not find, but continued to bill under. In researching the contract terms, I discovered that they had been charging me the installing fee ($54.56) each month instead of the monthly monitoring fee ($50.99).

Safe Home Security (SHS) is one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. I had ADT Security, and a representative came to my home to install new equipment which I had not asked for previously. The representative asked me to sign a contract which I did without reading it. I did not realize that (SHS) was replacing the ADT Security company that I had been using with complete satisfaction. After some time, I learned that the service SHS installed was line-line based and not able to transmit a call to my Alachua County Sheriff's Department if the phone line was cut by a burglar. So, I asked SHS to install the appropriate equipment for cellular signal monitoring through COPS Monitoring Service, a CSAA-certified central monitoring station. I was asked to sign another contract in November 2017 which I also did not read. My monthly fee increased to $42.39 per month. When I decided the monthly fee of $42.39 was too much for the service received, I decided to use SimplySafe Home Security, however I found that I was locked in a five year contract and would have to pay about 95% of the remaining more than three years of the monthly fees. That figure as of October 2019 was $1,530.28. I asked for a legal opinion from my attorney and found that the contract was completely binding. I was advised to send the required 60-day notice of my intent to terminate the contract which will expire in November 2022 by registered mail and by regular mail to be sure it was received. SHS is a predatory home security company, and I recommend that no one ever sign a contract with SHS. A dissatisfied customer in Gainesville, Florida

I received an outrageous bill they said they fixed it. I paid my bill today which I pay every months so I shouldn’t have a bill til March but they said feb that don’t add up. So I asked to speak to a manager the lady laughed and said she wasn’t there she was delayed because of the snow. Never received that phone call. And my sensors keep coming off due to that double sided sick paper they use. I’m so disappointed in this company and service. So right now my front door isn’t secure thank God I have a security door up. I keep running into billing problems and equipment failure. Oh the phone rang almost 3 minutes before I got an answer the lady said on her end it was only 48 seconds. I can’t even write anymore that’s how sick I’m tired I am.

BUYER BEWARE!! BUYER BEWARE!! Horrible. I switched from Monotronics to Safehome. Worst decision ever! I contacted their 'service' number to explore cancelling my account. Turns out that I'm stuck this contract - from which there is no exit--unless I pay $1,488 (for the remaining years left on my contract). So basically, I'm stuck in this contract until June 2022. The customer service department couldn't even tell me what - if anything - they are "monitoring." I called because my smoke detector was going off for 10 minutes and I didn't receive any kind of call like I did when I was with Monitronics. They tell me they don't monitor the smoke detectors and don't monitor the carbon monoxide detectors. The customer service rep couldn't even tell me if they monitor the windows or doors. What the Haiti am I paying for? I now have a service call in and someone is supposed to come out this coming Saturday to address the many issues I have with this "alarm" system. I am not confident in their abilities to monitor my home and to address the issues. "Safehome" my foot! I am now extremely afraid to leave my teenage grandchildren in my home alone as this security system appears to be no more than a digital clock on the wall.

As a retiree on a fixed income, I've found myself with a need to trim extraneous expenses. With that idea in mind, upon receiving my quarterly statement in September of 2019, I contacted their 'service' number to explore cancelling my account. Turns out that I'm stuck in a marathon, 5-year contract from which there is no exit--save paying for services NOT rendered, in full, for its duration (another 3 years). Every check I'll send them from now through 2022 will show, on the check's comments line, "TERMINATE 09/2022." To the extent that word-of-mouth can be impactful, ANYONE who contacts me for my opinion--2 potential clients thus far, but it's only been one month--regarding SHADY HOME SECURITY will be enthusiastically and emphatically recommended to look elsewhere.

I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY(which also included Anthem Alarm)!!!! It is not the alarm installation, but the COMPANY THAT MAKES PROMISES, LIES, IS IRRESPONSIBLE, & UNCARING...I can go on and on. In May of 2018, they installed my alarm system. Inasmuch as I was with another company and had a balance of a contract I was responsible for, THEY AGREED TO PAY OFF MY FORMER ALARM company balance. It would take me pages and pages of chapters to tell you all the correspondence, calls, and communications I have had with this company........after a year and 2 months THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT GIVE ME A RUNAROUND!!! I have an attorney working with me on this and HE IS BUFFALOED BY THEIR POOR DEMEANOR IS HONORING CLIENTS WITH PROMISES THEY MADE. My next choice may be to contact the local news channel and/or the Better Business Bureau. Presently my "efforts" have not cost much, but if I need to pursue it further........it could become very expensive.....funds of which I don't have!! PLEASE< PLEASE

Been a paying customer since 2008 yet, I want to cancel my service with this company since I am moving to another home. They said I had to send them a copy of my closing letter to them to verify that fact. Honestly, why do they need that to terminate service? They didn't need a mortgage statement to install it!! The worse experience with this company. They add a small piece to the system because their parts are old and outdated, they feel the need to charge a fee. They make it hard to terminate and keep renewing fee though you are not made aware of until you receive statement! Can't wait to move on to a more reputable company!

I received a phone call from someone who seemed to know of my account with my satelite TV service. He said that if I would sign up with their home security co., Safe Home Securities, I would receive $50 off a month for 3 years off my TV service. I signed up, but when I got my bill for the TV service the $50 discount was not there. I called them and they said they do not have any arrangement with ANY security company. It was a lie. So I filled out the cancellation for with SHS and told my bank to cancel the auto draft from my account to this company that uses fraud to obtain customers. When their collections department called me and I told her on the phone what had happened, she immediately said, "well, you signed the contract." Her quick response told me what I needed to know. She KNOWS this fraud is happening, and doesn't care. Am filing a complaint with the Alarm Systems Contractors Board, a comprehensive online regulating system. This one is Tennessee, but I'm sure other states have the same type of Board. I typed in www.core.TN.gov Try your own state's initials.

I'm stuck in this 5 year contract .....which is the only way this company "home safe"...REALLY CALLED "ALLIANCE SECURITY"IS ABLE TO KEEP ANY CUSTOMERS!!!Home Safe is clueless unless they go through Alliance! Your on hold for up to 45min. My alarm is Beoke! It jams! It doesn't work! The batteries in my sensors wear out in a matter of weeks! Im being charged for a door camera which I asked for 2months ago!!!! They say its coming?? Whattttt? Really??? I've been through 4 representatives in this 2 months!! They all guarantee they will resolve this!!! Wheres my🤬door camera?

The service was fine but make sure you read the contract carefully before you sign it. I was late with my cancellation notice so they did a one year extension and then if I did not pay they would automatically renew it every year. What the customer wants is not a concern for them.

I'd give this Co. -5 stars if possible. Most horrible people I've ever dealt with in my life. My husband fell for high pressure door to door salesmen. Had to sign a 5 yr contract. After a while system said "system failure". Called customer service & they kept telling us that it was working. Couldn't get it thru their head that a system failure means it's not working. After calling about same issue several time (while they were taking money out if acct for a non-working system, BTW) they finally said they would send someone out. They said they didn't have anyone in my state (KY) & would have someone call within 3 days. After 2 weeks & not hearing a peep we called them back. Believe it or not, they very rudely informed us since we called them back we would have to start the 3 day call for appt again!!! My husband got very upset & told them to take their alarm out of our wall after being on the phone for over 2 hours trying to resolve issue. They were extremely rude & I could hear them yelling at my husband from across the room! No one ever came out to fix. Finally had to block payment from bank. Kept getting harrassed & told them we weren't paying for something that doesn't work. All they had to do was fix it. Husband signed contract before we got married so it was in his name only. Well husband passed away during contract & I let them know he was deceased & asked them if they wanted copy of death certificate, they said no. About 6 months later they started harrassing me again. Finally sent to collection agency. Explained situation & haven't heard anything since. Guess they dropped it. I'd rather die before I'd give them a penny. This review doesn't even begin to cover all the harrassment received from this company. I'd have to write a novel for that. They have the worst & rudest customer service I've ever seen in my life. Plus they don't even have techs in state to service.RUN AWAY.

I had to spend almost $100 to replace the battery after 3 years of using the system. You must sign a 5 year contract. I could not wait until the contract expired because the cost was so expensive. Once my 5 years was up, I called to cancel and was told ok. I received a bill for 2 more months which I refused to pay because my 5 year term was up. Because I refused to pay, I was then told that I owed for another year because I did not cancel 2 months before the end of the contract. I now have calls coming from a collection agent who works at the company. I told him that hell will freeze over before I pay them and he said that he is going to keep calling me until I pay because they can. By the way, the salesmen leave out a lot of information when they are roping you into a contract.

I was referred by my mortgage company to Safe Home. Salesman very nice. The problem with this company is that once they have you-they won't let go. Two years after moving into my home I found I was going to have to move. I informed Safe Home and was told that I need to take my alarm system with me. Well, the apartment I was moving to wouldn't allow it. I begged Safe Home to come and take the unit out. Instead, every Thursday morning at 4am THEY set my alarm off!!!. This went on for weeks. I finally after calling them several times, pulled the entire unit out of the wall. Well, they took me to court and instead of the total of $2000 something for the unit and the service over a period of time. The price has gone up to over $4,000. HOW???? This is a terrible company.

We had this service installed in 2011; had problems with them from the beginning--starting with their promise that they would provide an interface with our iPhones. Never came. Then the alternate keypad in the Master bedroom was inoperable. Contract required us to arrange service through an SHS authorized repair facility. Calls to local services required approval by SHS. Never came. we continued to be billed for services. Finally had to demand a stop in the service by notifying our credit card service to stop payment. SHS continued to submit requests for payment by changing merchant ID. Still no repair. Our complaints were being sent by registered mail. One was referred to the VP of Sales who concluded that the company had no obligations to resolve the matter. Finally wrote letters to the Chairman, President and Treasurer of SHS (Connecticut demands that all officers note their personal addresses on corporate filings) and it finally stopped..but not until after a credit bureau had been contacted by SHS to collect over 1200 dollars in back fees (during the time our keypad was inoperable) It was good riddance to bad rubbish. The credit collection agency realized after receiving copies of our many registered letters and telephone requests that there was no fault at our end. They simply dropped it. During the time that our system was down, we had a theft in the home in which we lost merchandise in excess of $10,000. Later I learned that the BBB has over 7000 complaints on file for this merchant, alone.

Unfortunately my service was bought by this company from Toll Brothers. I did not ask for them to renew or charge me. For me to cancel it requires me to send a formal letter. The ridiculous part of this company is if I cancel today they stated they will charge me again in 6 months even with my service cancelled. This is deceptive tactics and takes advantage of people.

Trust me, DONT don't waste your time and money with SHS, they are ridiculous , terrible. My system was down to 6 months and they did not fix it. Sent 3 times with wrong parts. Even their own technician says that the company do not have brain. Just charge $200 on 11/5 and promise me to fix the issues on 11/7, and then nothing happened, problem still here. Shameless and the Toll Brothers who sold my contract to SHS, also should be shame on that too.

Monitoring is good, until you have a problem! Customer service and getting a service tech to fix a problem is terrible. We had the same experience twice with repeated service appointments cancelled, rescheduled or no one shows up 4-5 times. No matter how long your system is out of service, they would only give one month credit.

They have been trying to get me to buy a piece of equipment from them, and then they will send out a service rep. The rep has been flaking on his appointment since May! They convinced me to buy the service package....What can I say....I'm an idiot! Fool me once. This company is the worst! Please learn from my lesson!

Deplorable customer service! BEWARE of their contracts!! I called for a simple issue on my panel and a month later I am still frustrated, annoyed and a very unhappy customer! They are duplicitous, rude and condescending. I have exchanged emails with them and they either don't read, or refuse to understand that there is nothing that will fix the horrible service I have received from them! Counting the days until my contract expires and I can be rid of them!

Now that she has moved out of her house and living with her son, they want to charge her 90 percent of her contract. No stars for this money hungry company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is terrible. After calling in past for non working system, the appointment was cancelled multiple times. Upon canceling the system and calling over 6 times, they wanted to lock me into a cancelation cost. I wrote a Google review in December of 2019 and they ask me to remove it if I wanted to cancel the contract. I re,over the review and now 7 months later they are charging me for the 7 months. My system has not been working anfd the system has been disconnected. Terrible, non reliable security system! You are better off with a reputable company

We were lied to again and again by them. 1st was when they told us the rates would never go up. 2nd was I wasn't sure if I should re-sign with them because we were going to sell the house. I was told that I would just have to let them know that the house sold and the contract would be cancelled. NOW they say that even when the house sells we still owe them 90% of our contract. 3rd I was told it was a 2 year contract, today i was told it was a 3 year contract. I have no idea how I became involved with Safe Home and so far they have not provided a copy of my contract. I called and attempted to terminate service and was told it would only be possible if I paid for 66 months at $55.00 per month. Why would I commit to Safe home when I have had good service with Vivint for 20 years? They are rip off artists. Scammers. Run, don;t walk. I only gave these crooks one star because I had to. My actual rating would be -5 stars.

A very high pressure saleman came to my door claiming he could save me over $100/month on SHS and internet, phone and satellite TV. Everything he told me about prices turned out to be lies. Once I realized what a scammer he was on all he was selling I sent by certified mail a notice of cancellation on the third business day which the contract states and I'm still trying to get it cancelled. They took money out of my bank account anyway so I revoked authorization through my bank and now SHS is sending threatening letters about that.

i have this company and i will cancel after contract has ended.. if you have a problem , they charge you to fix their equipment and only have 1 certain/day time they can come with no exceptions, too bad for people that work, ours still blinks that it needs service , all i get is don't worry about it, the signal works, we set if off every day and no one calls us, but they say it works,,, it has bad customer service, can't trouble shoot by phone you get passed form one to another with no resolution. so who knows if it works or not.

I was a first time homeowner and searched for a home security system. I accepted safe. On the 24th of December after moving into my home I and my daughter went shopping in Bowie Town center . Left home around 7 pm , returned around 10pm and my home had been broken into. My front door was wide open and all of the lights in my home was on. I was concerned about my dog. I called the police and was told not to enter until they arrive. After the entire incident the police told me to call my security system office, they stated that they did not receive a signal. " Blah! That's just reckless , I said. And canceled my contract. I will not recommend this company.

They never told me they were signing me up for 5 more years. This is elder abuse and I am planning a law suit. Does any one want to join me?
