The wireless window and door sensors have a discreet design and a lot of power. They communicate with your Guardian security panel and help protect your home’s critical entry and exit points. They come with PowerG wireless intrusion technology, providing more secure encryption, longer range and reliability, and better battery life. Video surveillance from security cameras is only available on more advanced packages.

And although Guardian Protection monitors systems in all 50 states, the company only provides new systems in the following areas: Delaware, Washington D.C., Florida, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.

In addition, the company doesn't provide services to apartment renters (house renters are fine). However, this is not uncommon for home security companies. 

Limited Sensors

In addition, Guardian Protection only provides three PowerG door/window sensors with most of its packages. Even small homes often require more than three door/window sensors, meaning most customers should account for additional out-of-pocket costs on sensors if they want a cheaper plan. 

However, the Family First, Protect My Parents, and The Works packages all have 5 door/window sensors. If you like the extra equipment in these packages, these might be good choices for you.

Lengthy/Hidden Terms in Customer Agreement

They have the lowest prices. The equipment is pretty good. If there is an issue or you lose connection, they cally ou up and let you know that the system is failed or the wifi bluetooth is dropped.

The people who install the cameras have not been calling me on time. They're supposed to call. We scheduled I think Friday or Saturday and they're supposed to call me back and they never did. Their keypad is simple to use. Make sure your people clean up after themselves.

The biggest interaction we had with customer support was setting up the install and having the guy come out and install it and all of that went really smoothly. Nothing has gone wrong with the equipment so I know that everything is effective. I like that it's integrated with the apps and you can activate or deactivate your alarm. I find that really useful and it's a pretty reasonable price.

Every time we called them they're very responsive and take care of the issues right on the spot. Billing was a question and they answered it. We've paid and it's good, everything is good.The system is very modern. Love the home screen and the clarity of the cameras and the sound reception is good. Love the ease of access. I would like to see the ring doorbell system alert me vs just sending me a text.

I like that you're able to see and operate everything off of your mobile devices. I would say that there needs to be more adequate training when installing a thermosstat that they might need a little bit of training. When we were installing the thermostat, it was switched from the heating and cooling so after the tech left, the heater was on when it was supposed to be the air conditioning so we had to call each company back both times to fix that.

I've had a couple of issues with power loss. They've contacted me to let me know what was going on so they're very good at that and any questions that I have, I call them and they take care of it. No suggestions, no feedback, so far great job, keep it up.

I feel safe with it. It takes pictures of sombeody on the camera and I love that. It lets you know when the door is open or closed. They keep in contact to make sure that everything is okay. If I leave the door open or whatever, they check to make sure that it's legit and that nobody is breaking in or anything.

I was told that I can get certain features with this and then come to find out I have to spend more money for those certain things that made me actually want to come and use Guardian. When you sell a piece of equipment, you lay everything out that comes with the equipment. No hidden fees, put everything upfront so a person can make and form a decision based on that.

I enjoyed Guardian Protection when I was waiting for my lawn to be installed and I was out of town. So I simply used my front door ring doorbell and my app to check in periodically to see if anytyhing was happening in the front yard and I was able to know when they began the work and take pictures as they were working. I had a complete diary of what had gone on prior to my arriving back home so if the endor tried to pull a fast one in any way I would kno wthe difference. I appreciate the comfort of knowing that no one can infiltrate our home or even come to the front door without our knowledge. We have found the equipment to be very reliable and the app exceptionally easy to use. When the system was initially installed, I had a number of questions on changing settings and they were extremely helpful and responsive to the point they even called me back to make sure I was happy with the information they provided us and it was working well.

It seems to be operating properly. I can walk in the door and set the alarm from the app and it works fine every time. Any time I wasn't able to turn the alarm off from my phone, I can unlock the door manually and the panel gave me a twenty second disarm warning so I was able to go over to the panel and shut off the alarm manually before it went off. It's a pretty good price for it, for the full monitoring and all the sensors and stuff.

I love my camera system and I am able to adjust the view then I can edit the way I see and get alerts. They did a great job to install and answer any questions. They gave me the tools to be able to get everything done that I needed to.
