How does the 60-day money-back guarantee work?

How do I choose my equipment?
We offer three levels of protection to accommodate the unique needs of our customers:
Level 1 — Basic Protection
We suggest you order sensors for your exterior doors and the main areas of your home. You accomplish this by using door sensors, motion sensors and/or glass breaks. This level of protection is a great starting point, and everyone can afford it. Remember, you can always order more sensors later and add to your protection over time.
Level 2 — Intermediate Protection
Purchase sensors for all your exterior doors and the main areas of your home. We suggest covering all ground-level windows with window sensors or glass breaks detectors for windows that don't open. We also encourage considering flood sensors, carbon monoxide detectors, medical pendants, and fire detectors for additional life safety. These sensors can help prevent damages and tragedies that could otherwise be life-altering. Keep in mind, some home insurance companies offer additional discounts for monitoring fire and flood in your home.
Level 3 — Advanced Protection
Cover every entry point (doors and windows on all levels) to the home with at least one sensor. Sometimes having more than one sensor covering a vulnerable entry point can help act as a redundancy. For example, sliding glass doors can either be forced open (door sensor would protect this) or shattered (glass break sensor would protect this). Purchase motion sensors for all the main areas of your home. Include all life safety sensors and make sure you have at least one Smoke/Heat/Freeze sensor per level (floor) of the home.
What is Cove InstaText?
Cove InstaText is a revolutionary way to notify you and those you trust if an alarm is triggered.
When our monitoring station receives an alarm from your system, InstaText is the first means of communication. InstaTex will send you a text message with a link where you can either dismiss the alarm or dispatch emergency responders. If we do not get a response in 15 seconds, we will attempt to reach you through the panel and via phone call. If you confirm your emergency, dispatchers will be contacted immediately. If you dismiss the emergency, you will be asked for your password.
You have the option to add emergency contacts when you set up your system. Your emergency contacts will also be contacted via InstaText if your alarm goes off. You can edit or add emergency contacts at any time by emailing our support team.

The system arrived fast and was easy to install. I did have an installation issue which resolved with a quick phone call. Installation was straight forward and easy to follow instructions. The first couple of days in use I set the alarm and forgot to tell my husband the code...here come the police!! It works! Customer service is helpful and courteous. The base station is very substantial and very easy to use and add new monitors . I could not be more satisfied and glad I tried the new guy on the block. The reviews were very positive. Our experience with Cove has been overall very good. Only complaint we had was when our alarm was accidentally triggered it took over 10 minutes for the monitor center to call. A lot can go wrong in 10 minutes, when I asked the rep about it she ignored the question and disconnected; otherwise, would be a five star review. Had to call Customer Service when we first got the system and they were amazing!!!

Our experience with Cove is going well! We had a slight connectivity issue with our window sensors, but as soon as we called customer service they starting working. I mention this as the rep stayed on the phone with us and tested all our sensors to be safe and gave us a few tips. We did see off the alarm by accident the first day; however realized we needed to adjust the lapse time of the response team to reach us/for the alarm to go off. The Cove Dispatch person was right on it and did a nice job understanding we were new to their system.

It's been amazing! From the setup, which was surprisingly easy (My younger siblings could absolutely set this system up)! To the functions of the daily arming and disarming is basically flawless! We've had a couple accidents forgetting to disarm the system and as soon as the alarm goes off, not even 30 seconds later, Cove calls to make sure everything is alright. If I just so happen to not answer, a police is at my door in about 10 minutes. I love Cove!

It’s been great. Wish Cove would carry there own camera system for indoor and outdoor. I also think they should have there own smart locks and doorbell. This would be the topping on the cake. I have all of the equipment I mentioned and it’s just a pain in a butt too have 5 different products versus just one.

First I want to say, their response time to alarms is FAST, too fast. When you cancel an alarm, they still call. I thought I'd give COVE a try since they were a new company. I ordered their Home Al arm System (door/window sensors, Glass break and motion sensors). The first time I tested the system in 'AWAY" mode, the motion sensors wouldn't work. Cove replaced the entire system but, for some odd reason, we could not figure out, the motion sensors still would not work in our home. I had been working with the manager, who was very patience and helpful with trying to make sure the system worked for us. We tried for hours without any luck. My theory is, I think our outdoor security cameras were interfering with their motion sensors transmission because they were all installed on exterior corner walls that had security camera installed on the outside. When we disarmed the security cameras, we got them to work most of the time. The ONLY location in our home they appeared to work was the hallway. Being that you cannot install the motion sensors in front of windows and the rooms all had 2 windows, exterior walls was the only location we could use. Next, I wanted to test the Glass breaks. The glass break sensors should activate within 15 feet of a window or glass door. We installed one at approximately 11 1/2 feet from a large window, we tested it by actually breaking glass at 15 feet, 11 feet, 10 feet, and 6 feet and it NEVER went off. I contacted their technical support and was told to try testing them using a recorded sound of glass breaking, so I did a live video using several glass break effect sounds from Youtube, using my BOSE speakers with the sensors at 6 feet away from the speakers. They DID NOT go off, one did go off at approxiamately 4 feet but with several test they would only go off if the sensors were right in front of the speakers. The issue was they wouldn't trigger properly as shown in the video. The door and window sensors worked fine during both 'STAY' and 'AWAY' mode test. We also had issues with the panel. It would start counting down at night in 'STAY' mode for some odd reason and we had to get up to disarm it and arm it again. It you are going to have a Home Security System to secure your home both at home and away from home, you need a reliable and dependable system that works 100% of the time. Cove's call dispatch center appears to be reliable with responding to alarms but that's not enough, I need the alarm system to be as reliable to protect my home and my family from intruders. If it can't do that, what's the purpose of paying for the service? I have notified Cove that we wish to return the system. Hopefully we can find a system that actually work for us and one we can rely on to work for us. I suggest anyone with a Cove security system, test all their devices in both 'STAY' and 'AWAY' modes to assure they work properly.
