Founded in 1998, Wells Fargo specializes in banking and financial services. Although the company does not offer home insurance, it does have helpful information on what kind of coverage it requires its mortgage clients to have until their mortgage is paid off.

If one of its clients does not carry full repair and replacement coverage on the building, it will purchase its own policy and add the premium to the monthly mortgage payment. These lender-issued policies typically have higher rates and only cover the home's structure.

If you're a Wells Fargo mortgage client, be sure you have the right amount of coverage on your home. If your insurance coverage lapsed and you have a lender-issued policy, you can get the lender-issued policy cancelled by buying qualifying coverage and working with Wells Fargo to remove the policy.

Using Wells Fargo for my Home associated with my Mortgage. They work seamlessly together with no issue. Reps have contacted me yearly to check in and make sure I am happy with my service. I was given options to lower rates a few different times. During Covid they pause my payments for a couple months until I was able to get back on my feet. Good service and Customer care.

Got my first home loan through Wells Fargo & was pleased with the apr, loan & how they handle it. I did a jumbo loan so a put a lot of money down to get the mortgage payment down to an affordable month to month payment. My credit score was over 620, so I qualified for other good loans but decided with the jumbo loan.

Wells Fargo is a good overall company. We've been with them for a long time. They did get a bad reputation recently and for good reason but they did reach out to us and tried to make it right so I give them a little credit. We will watch our accounts a little closer now tho.

i opened a free checking account. all of a sudden every month i was paying an account fee. i didnt understand but assumed that i must pay it because its a bank and they wouldnt make any mistakes. it turns out they were scaming their customers. big banks are scum. all they want to do is rip you off. i was never repaid for all those months of paying an "account fee" for a free account

I tried Wells Fargo's rental insurance for a month or two before I canceled it Because their online portal is confusing and difficult to use and whenever I needed to get a hold of somebody to actually use my policy it was harder than calling the president

I'm not a fan. They take your money but aren't willing to deliver when you need them. Their customer service is poor and a few times, I've been put into some scheme of theirs (savings scheme) when I didn't even agree to it.

Wells Fargo was the first insurance company I ever had as a new homeowner years and years ago. We didn’t realize that we were supposed to pick our own insurance and instead Wells Fargo provided insurance for our mortgage since they held that title. We never had to file any claims but I didn’t feel like they were on the higher end home insurance policies pricing wise. In hindsight it is probably because we did not shop around and they were instead appointed to us which probably came with a higher price tag. The good news is getting a hold of somebody in customer service was never an issue.
