Was able to bundle house and all vehicles under one, very cost effective, policy. Coverage is excellent. They are very service oriented, helpful and professional. Easier to reach them by phone - not thrilled with their computer, not overly user friendly. But the 'live' person is always great - and it's easy to get to a 'live' person.

We utilized USAA homeowners insurance when our home flooded due to a problem pipe in our master bathroom. USAA was prompt and we were able to have everything that was damaged repaired. I would highly recommend them for homeowners insurance.

Not always the cheapest anymore but USAA provides some pretty fantastic insurance, especially if you bundle. I did recently shop my auto coverage and State Farm offered me a substantial discount I chose not to change tho. USAA is just too hard to beat in the customer service department.

I had USAA on a previous home which I rented out after moving. My tenant did $14,000 of damage when they left. The inspector they sent to see the damage called it normal wear and tear, so they didn't cover anything. Holes in the walls, destroyed ceiling fans, crushed door handles, holes in bedroom doors, destroyed carpet (dumped oil and paint), and rotted floor from unreported water leak are not normal wear and tear.
