Several years ago, I switched to GEICO for my home insurance policy. They were able to save me over a thousand dollars on my premiums. Also, I appreciate getting discounts on having home security/fire alarm coverage. Being able to manage my policies via the GEICO app has made things easy when I need to download policy documents. Additionally, GEICO customer service is always available to help me make changes to my policies or if I need help with a claim. I have always found their customer service to be excellent in every aspect.

The best part dealing with Geico is their customer care. Representatives are easily available and they give enough time to listen to the issues. Even the chat bot is quite good with only required amount of AI. I always talk to the customer care and end up with best deals possible. I took home insurance through Geico and the CC representative spent time in finding the best quote for my house. Geico provide the option for customers to purchase homeowners insurance through its website and agents. Geico functions as a broker and matches customers with third-party home insurers through the Geico Insurance Agency. As of now i do not have anything which i do not like about Gieco.

As a result, we recently got a motorcycle policy and went through State Farm because we couldnt figure out how to do our iwn policy online. I had GEICO for almost 20 years before we purchased a house. They claimed to include their homeowner's insurance with their car insurance to make everything easier. It was FAR from easy after that. They use an outside source for homeowner insurance, NOT GEICO. The outside policy holder NEVER bothered to attach our escrow account to the insurance plan. So, every year we had to make phone calls to get the coverage. Worst of all, when we called GEICO the customer service people said oh we don't handle homeowner insurance you have to call the other company. Even though, for home insurance the phone # was the same for both policies. It was all day affair dealing with policy issues. The insurance even sent a notice to cancel the homeowner's insurance because it wasn't paid on time, even though it was an automatic deduction from the escrow account. Nope, it was a mistake to add our home owner's insurance to GEICO and dealing with dead ends and robots on the phone, we dropped both policies with GEICO. Be warned. Never again.

Fairly new to Geico and haven't had any accident claims yet, however, we did have a truck throw a huge rock that hit our windshield causing a long deep crack and instead of being free we will have to pay $500 to get the windshield replaced! Not at all happy about this! Never heard of this before! I've had to have another car's windshield replaced about 6 years ago and it was free of charge with AllState! Wish this crack had happened when we still had them! Seriously dissapointed!
