I am 70 years old and have been a customer of the Walmart Vision Center in whichever store in my city I have lived in as long as I can remember. I used to go to the larger eye frame stores that I am sure many of you are familiar with. However, I quickly found out that the Walmart Vision Center had a great selection to choose from, and many name brands that the other name brand stores carried, but at a much lesser cost. Recently, I went in to our Walmart Vision Center and purchased over the glasses clip on 🕶️ sunglasses which worked so much better than trying to wear a regular pair of sunglasses over my glasses. If you have never visited the Walmart Vision Center, the next time you’re in Walmart, just step in, look around and see the really nice men, women and children’s eye ware their store carries. I think you will be impressed!

Absolutely ridiculous. Some stores take Caresource great right! NOPE. My son had 6 pairs of frame to chose fro. They were all cheesy. So I ended up paying for frames and warranty obviously because Caresource was. NOt going to cover. Then we were talking about lenses no option there either. Plastic yep you heard me PLASTIC. I said excuse me. I said I can't have plastic frames. I have to have the poly because I pay out of pocket for them to have the thinning option. They said no we don't do any add on its specifically what Caresource covers. I said we'll I can't get glasses here. So we canceled my order I still had to come out of pocket for my wasted eye exam that neither me nor my son needed because we both had one less then 6 months and I let them know that.but I still had to have the ex am to move it along just to find out I still paid for half of what my sons glasses cost and I didn't and couldn't get a pair for myself. They said they have a co tract with caresource to not allow add-ons. So Insteady of allowing add-ons to make extra money they force you into eye exam even if not needed. I had me and my sons prescription with us. And the Lady was rude. And they had the notification set up to notify me when both pairs came in. I said corrected that before I left. And after a month of no notice I called and they said your other pair has not came in I said what other pair. There is no other set of glasses. So you were just going to keep the glasses I paid for and not notify me. So went down to pick up the following weekend and as I'm getting my sons glasses she informs me that mi e still haven't came in. I said again WHAT GLASSES I never ordered any. Then no joke as I'm writing this my sons brings over his glasses and the arm is about to break. He'd had them 6 months. Yeah great job walmart.

I absolutely love Walmart Vision Center! I have children and it makes sense that we all go in at one time. No other vision center would allow my children in the room. All doctors but one at Walmart would allow my boys in and would rotate us . All but one were very friendly. The prices are amazing and the return for your glasses were amazing! The selection are in comparison with all other centers.

Used this service once. Nothing bad about it as to why I did not return, but also nothing super amazing either. They take insurance, the prices are good, and these centers are conveniently located in Walmart Supercenters. The variety of frames is not great and quality is not great, however I feel for kids this is a good option because they tend to lose or break glasses quite easily and frequently.

Weird customer service and experience in my local Walmart vision center. The eye exam was good but I had to wait over two hours because the doctor was in a meeting. The frame selection is good and the prices are fair. I do feel that the lenses were not as high-quality as other places that I have previously shopped. Customer service was good but for some reason even inside the vision center you feel like you’re inside a Walmart store that is just trying to sell you glasses. It does not feel like a Medical Experience.

I went to Walmart, got my eyes checked and waited for my eye prescription. I was called in 2 weeks later , went and tried them on, the it was wrong. I really needed my glasses. Walmart apologized, we did it again , and once again it was the wrong prescription. I'm done with Walmart vision center.

I have used Walmart vision center in the past before. Their service is below average at best. Their optometrists lack experience with diverse health situations that can affect vision. I would not recommend Walmart if you have any complications with your vision.

Reasonable prices, using insurance sometimes is rather convoluted. Not sure if its Walmart or the insurance carrier. Glasses have several up charges so you walk in expecting one price, but get the onslaught of up grades.

I've used Walmart to replace lenses in glasses I already own. The service is quick, and unlike other chains they will replace lenses in frames they did not sell. I did have a problems with one prescription being filled backwards. Walmart was quick to remedy the problem, new lenses were there in two days.

These employees are not all licensed optometrists. They have regular Walmart employees working in the eye center. While they are nice and knowledgeable that does not mean they are trained properly.
