Awful coverage. God forbid you take care of your teeth. If they aren't experiencing bone loss get ready for a major bill that they will fight to the death not to cover.

Some of their plans say they cover 100% out of network. What they really cover is 100% of is what they calculate the total cost should be for the dental care, they do not cover 100% of what you are actually billed. Recently paid $120 for a basic dental exam for my daughter and they reimbursed $42.

This company has my dentist listed as "in network" on their healthcare.gov page and stated I had coverage for my dentist, even provided a letter to my dentist's practice confirming I was covered. When bills were submitted for payment, I suddenly wasn't covered and my dentist was "out of network."

Not able to register online. Customer service is not much help. People don't speak good English. I received my first 3 deposit just fine then my next one they got my account number wrong. Took over a week to get fixed. I'm not happy at all with them. Have trouble getting any tax info from them.

They deny your claims for the most ridicules reasons. Twice the rejected my claims because the tooth was extracted before I was insured by them. In both cases my secondary insurance through my wife's insurance (Delta) paid more than half the cost. Total scam.

Absoulute scum. Scam artist of the highest degree. I went line by line and they are not even paying money out by there own rules. I went over the phone line item by line item pointing how they messsed up and the lady confirmed it and THEY still told me to file an appeal. Scummest Dental provide on the earth

I signed up with them through my job company and I’ve been waiting for my card 4 weeks to find out my dentist does not take them. I have to go to there PPO and If go to my dentist I have out of coverage. I wish I did my research before I signed up.

I wish I could give zero stars. They have wriggled out of covering anything that isn't a basic cleaning. I essentially gave them free money in the form of my monthly premium to keep while they screwed me when I expected the coverage in return for said payment. Terrible and intentionally misleading company.

I am a dental provider associated with Guardian. They have been a very negative experience dealing with. They have virtually no respect for my office as a provider. The one thing that they do well regularly is to take advantage to bolster their bottom line.

If I could leave a negative rating I would. To give this company 1 star review is going above. When calling the reps to check claim status they either do not know what they are doing, are extremely rude, or place you on permanent hold. This company is extremely unprofessional and their over seas call center need to be monitored by quality control,

Absolutely horrible dental insurance. Denied coverage for a crown a replacement crown because I had only had it for 4.5 years. If It had been over 5 years they would have covered it at 60%. I paid for the first one my self... why bother with Dental insurance.

It is a constant battle to get benefits paid. I have had to reach out to my dentist several times, and they have proof they have sent the claims to Guardian. Guardian then says they don't have the information, or give me the runaround. All of this for my husband, who is a dependent and I pay for! Terrible customer service in my opinion.

Good coverage on paper, but terrible policies that never allow you to use the full value of their benefits. By far the worst dental insurer I have ever been offered through an employer. Slow to pay providers, old crappy website, dental policies from the 1970's when silver fillings were all the rage.

One star is the lowest score I can give but way too high for this pitiful company. I have 2 claims for dental teeth cleaning going back 11 months that I have not been paid for. I have easily spent over 10 hours on the phone with nice but unhelpful customer service representatives. Easily the worst company I have ever dealt with

They are awful. We have paid for 7 months and tried to use the insurance today and they cost me half of a day of work and i couldn’t take my family to the dentist. I am very unhappy with them and honestly can’t wait until we can switch companies. If I could give zero stars I would.

I filled out the form to sign up for dental insurance. Now they don’t have any record of me signing up. The rep said to call my employer admin. My admin can’t make Guardian give me a policy number so I can see a dentist. I wish I could give ZERO stars since I am receiving zero coverage.

Guardian is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. They will deny your claim and force you to go through the appeal process. If you want your dental work covered and do not want to be worried about getting stuck with an expensive bill find a better more reputable insurance company.

They don't cover any procedures, and they have a "dentist" on staff who apparently knows more than my actual dentist. I absolutely need a deep clean as I haven't been to the dentist in an embarrassingly long amount of time, but according to Guardian, I should only be going to the dentist for a light cleaning. Yeah right. Crooks.
