Credit Innovation Group has two membership options that consumers can choose from - the Gold membership and the Platinum membership. Each membership includes a 30-minute credit consultation, access to a mobile app, helpful tools, and more. It appears that consumers can only get credit repair services through the company's Platinum membership. 

4-Step Credit Repair Process

Credit Innovation Group offers the following four-step credit repair process: 

  • Step one — The company will analyze the client’s current credit situation and look at their credit reports.
  • Step two — The company will start the electronic dispute process. 
  • Step three — The company will wait to receive dispute responses from credit bureaus and will take further action if needed. 
  • Step four — The company will continue with disputes (as long as the client maintains membership status) if the targeted items haven’t been resolved within six months. 

As mentioned above, the Credit Innovation Group credit repair program can take about six months to get the best results. Since results can vary, some clients may take longer than others to go through the company's credit repair program. The company states online that it focuses on removing inaccuracies or misleading items that make include charge-offs, collections, late payments, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and repossessions.

Credit Innovation Group also acknowledges on its main website that each credit situation is different and that it cannot guarantee that clients will reach a certain credit score after going through its credit repair process.

Helpful Tools and Services

Unlike some other companies in the credit repair industry, Credit Innovation Group members are given a few extra helpful credit tools and services.

Credit innovation charges $179 up front and $129 per month plus $19.99. If you are a couple trying to purchase a house you are paying these prices per each of you so that is $360 first time and $260 per month with an additional $40 that is $300 per month for them to do what you can do on credit karma. They NEVER EVER keep their appointments I went through three counselors in three months. When I complained about them not keeping the appointment their receptionist SCREAMED at me the first person that I spoke to who told me that I could be ready to purchase the house that I was living in within 45 days, passed away. I was so sad to hear but apparently everything that he told me was just a sales pitch. I had explained that my situation was desperate and if they could not help I understood, but he repeatedly told me that this was 100% doable. After putting up with no return calls and missed appointments they set me up with my 3rd agent , Ruben, who was wonderful. But still couldn’t guarantee to help me close when needed. I finally called rocket mortgage and got a mortgage. All of the bs that I went through was for nothing. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I am now locked into 3 self loans that I have to complete and for nothing that you cannot do on your own

I am mad as ever. This company is full of it. The terms and agreement for the 5 day if you like it or not is a waste of time because there is no change to happen in 5 days of being with them so why give your customer five days to say yes or no before the 140 comes out? Also I got ripped off. You guys agreed to take out the amount on a certain date and didn't. Then out of now where you guys take the amount finally and I immediately sent a email to my specialist to get my refund and she said I had 5 days to make that decision from the time frame of setting this up and I don't understand if the payment wasn't originally taken out that date agreed upon how is it I can't ask for the refund when the first payment wasn't taking in the time frame agreed too? I am reporting this. I can't believe the person I have as a specialist because she states the money was owed when YA'LL NEVER DID NOTHING!!!!!!! all you did was talk and analyze which wasn't worth $140.00

Once the 5 days if over, you are fully under contract with us and therefore, the $140 is due and owed for the work we performed on your file. We do much more than just pull a credit report and analyze as you say. In the initial 5 days, we set up your portal, map out your individualized goals and develop a step by step process to ensure you reach each milestone, as well as analyze your file, dispute items and go over the process with you. There is an entire team of people working behind the scenes for you during this time to ensure you're on track to achieve your credit goals. The bureaus have 30 days to process disputes, but since we use an electronic system, we often see results much faster and even within the first 5 days. Liars and scam artists!! Told me they had investors, when they didn't and they now can't find the audio where it was discussed a HUNDRED times. !! Run run as far as you can, don't trust the credit innovation man!! Seriously!! There are free credit places out there I KNEW which I told them that I knew how to fix my credit I just didn't have the money and they told me they would get me into a house! They had investors and I didn't need to worry just get my credit card debt down....ugh....if only I read the reviews and didn't let Tyler and the group trick me!!!

As previously discussed in our email with you, Credit Innovation Group does not work with investors and at no time during your conversations with us or in any correspondence between us, was it mentioned that we do. We work with people to improve their credit profile and we have preferred lenders who we refer customers to when they are ready to move forward with getting a mortgage. We take these claims very seriously and investigated each interaction between you and our company and found nothing to substantiate your claims. As you can see in our other reviews, when things are found to be substantiated, we address them internally and recognize the issue. During your time with us we met all contractual obligations and you did have positive results. We have tried to explain what is holding you back and what you need to do to get your credit profile in a situation where one of our preferred lenders would be willing to work with you, however you continue to tell us you already know about it and dismiss it. Our program has helped thousands of people get into a home, but Credit Innovation Group can not do it on their own. You have to do you part, while we do ours. We wish you all the best.

Six month's is not what it takes I've been with them one year and two months still haven't got the help i thought i would get!! The only thing i see they have done is took a few inquiries off my report i was denied on my first attempt of getting a home loan, I've had 4 specialists it's harder than hell to get a same day response sometimes it would take a week or more!!! Do some research on otjer companies before picking C.I.G

They conned me into joining when I was looking into purchasing a home. In the month that I agreed I have left 5 messages, sent 4 emails and 4 text messages and have not received one reply. I have no idea if there are even any real people "working" for this company. I cant even get ahold of anyone to cancel what membership I am stuck in so I just blocked them at my bank. Maybe they are good, maybe not, but I have no use for any company that takes your money and will not communicate with you.

We strive to provide positive experiences and outline our payment terms in our written agreements as well as discuss them multiple times when members sign up. We aim to be as transparent as possible when it comes to the payment terms. CIG is not allowed to charge customers before work is completed on their behalf, which means, that if you called to cancel the day before your payment is owed, you would still owe that payment because work was already done by us.
