The Good

  • No Contracts—Cancel Anytime
  • Personalized Attention From Credit Specialists
  • Credit Education and Tips to Help Boost Overall Score
  • Comprehensive Credit Analysis with Customized Plan
  • Monitoring and Progress Tracking

Continental Credit works with consumers to establish a customized credit repair game plan and consumer education program to improve overall credit scores.

As a full-service credit repair company, Continental Credit is best suited for individuals in need of long-term credit repair in the deletion of several inaccuracies or false information on their credit reports and who do not have the time to deal with these item details on their own.

Many benefits of this credit repair company include:

No Contracts—Cancel Anytime

The company does not force a penalty if a client decides to cancel services and no reason is required.

It seems like the Continental Credit repair program does not require months of client commitment, unlike some other credit repair companies that force clients into long-term contracts.

Personalized Attention From Credit Specialists

Each credit repair client case that comes to Continental Credit will get a dedicated credit specialist. That means each client has a specific contact and resource working on their behalf throughout the credit repair process.

Your credit will specialist will conduct an investigation utilizing the Fair Credit Reporting Act to clean up any incorrect items on your credit report, provide valuable insight on how you can best maximize your credit potential, and create a comprehensive plan with straightforward goals to help you reach your financial goals.

Credit Education and Tips to Help Boost Overall Score

Credit repair may only be one way a client can improve a credit score. However, the credit repair firm strives to provide customers with additional knowledge and understanding of the credit and financial landscape in order to help them with future money decisions.

The Continental Credit educational resources include topics like credit reporting, good credit practices, credit report items, student loans, credit card usage, credit history, and more.

Comprehensive Credit Analysis with Customized Plan

Similar to some other companies in the industry, Continental Credit gives clients a free comprehensive credit analysis that will identify all areas of credit report weakness.

Monitoring and Progress Tracking

Clients will be able to access their case results and track deletions accomplished by Continental Credit via an online client account portal.

The Bad

  • No Money-Back Guarantee
  • No Licensed Attorneys on Staff
  • No Customer Testimonials or Deletion Proof on Corporate Website
  • No Pricing Structure Offered to the Public on Website

In order to fully cancel a membership account with Continental Credit, customers will need to call the company directly and speak with a customer service representative.

If the necessary steps are not taken properly for cancellation, the consumer's account will continue to receive a monthly payment charge.

Negative concerns that have been raised by consumers regarding Continental Credit include:

No Money-Back Guarantee

If unsatisfied with the company's service, Continental Credit clients will not be able to get a full refund for any payment they have already made.

Meanwhile, several other companies within the credit repair industry offer a money-back guarantee for at least the first few days/months of service.

No Licensed Attorneys on Staff

Although some companies do have access to attorneys, Continental Credit does not.

While not required by credit repair bureaus, oftentimes having an attorney on staff who can help customers with difficult item disputes and provide legal advice is a major plus in the credit repair industry.

No Customer Testimonials or Deletion Proof on Corporate Website

The main Continental Credit website does not offer much for prospective clients to read about in terms of previous experiences clients have had with the company's credit repair program.

No Pricing Structure Offered to the Public on Website

There is a pretty large lack of transparency when it comes to how much clients will have to pay for the Continental Credit credit repair service. Those interested in credit repair services need to directly contact the company in order to obtain these important pricing details.

Potential clients should keep in mind that the majority of other credit repair firms directly offer information about monthly payments and setup fees on their main websites.

gavel

The Bottom Line

Continental Credit seems to be a legitimate credit restoration company with over nine years of experience in the financial services industry.

Consumers can receive a free credit consultation and pay for monthly credit repair plans that can be canceled at any time. Clients can also access helpful online resources to learn more about credit scores, credit history, and more.

It is important for potential clients to note that some Continental Credit consumers have sent in a complaint with billing, cancellation, and/or overall service delivery.

In comparison to other credit repair firms, Continental Credit also doesn't seem to offer information on its website regarding monthly payments or setup fees. Consumers are advised to review all policies carefully, contact the company for more information, and read Continental Credit reviews before they agree to purchase services.

Continental Credit is a Colorado based company. Not the same as "CONTINENTAL CREDIT CONTROL" based in California. Continental Credit is bad I've been paying ~$90 each month since Sept 2022 they promise to erase my debts. Today Jul 05 2023 is the fourth time I've tried to cancel their service. They have done nothing to fix my account. In fact I was paying another service ½ as much, which was doing a great job accepting my payments to pay off two negative debts. Continental Credit told me that the other service is making my credit worse. Continental told me to cancel the other company and soon my debts will be erased with Continental Credit's services. That was back in Feburary and still nothing has changed. Transunion, Experian and Equifax have sent letters to me regarding a third party claiming to have permission to work on my credit reports, but that the third party is doing suspicious illegal stuff with my accounts. I'm not going to listen to Continental's lies anymore. They insist on talking to me on the phone, which is how they manipulate me to continue paying them. The website portal doesn't show anything of importance nor do they have a cancellation section. On the telephone is the only method they use in order to keep saying they have been doing great progress with my debts, but they never show any proof and it doesn't reflect on my credit reports. To make them stop taking my money I had to cancel my bank account and open a new one. I clearly feel this company is another scam and should be investigated and they should refund every single penny that I've paid them. THE FBI AND BBB SHOULD INVESTIGATE CONTINENTAL CREDIT AND SHUT THEM DOWN. I've recently seen 100's of complaints online about this business that is SCAMMING AMERICANS OUT OF THEIR MONEY.

I sent Skyler W on 02/18 to cancel and he emailed me back on 02/19 saying he would cancel my account but they bill in arrears so I would be charged on 03/02 which I understood. I was then charged again on 04/02 so I called and explained what happened and was told I would get refunded. I still never received it so reached out again and was told the same thing. Today I get a call from someone wanting to "check in" I explained what happened, he was rude and said he had to go off of what he had and was basically calling me a liar. I offered to forward him the email and he didn't want them, I then asked for a supervisor and he said he was on so I asked for his and he said they weren't available. I ended up telling him to keep the money I was done dealing with it. I do not recommend this company and will never recommend them to any of my clients or anyone at all.

Broken promises and no follow through. We were referred to CC by our lender and what a let down it has been. They charge a monthly fee but after 4 months we have yet to see any progress or even a phone call from anyone. I have to call them and ask them for updates and I'm always given the same line "It takes time." To say the least I am not impressed with this program, the money I'm paying them to represent us I could apply to my debts. The same debts that they told us not to pay on. I feel I have wasted these past months and my money. I do not recommend this company at all. I'm going to cancel our account and from the reviews I see it's going to be difficult to do.

My Credit Score has dropped approximately 100 points in the 4-5 months I've been using and paying Continental Credit. Both mine and my girlfriends. I was promised a "progress report" the first of this month which I have yet to see on the 9th. I paid for someone elses credit to be cleaned through Continental as well only to see their credit drop a number of points also. What's Continental Great at? Customer Service... Great at making you feel like they are working and to get you to keep paying. What are they not Good at at all? Credit Repair. So if you'd like to pay hundreds of dollars over time to see your credit destroyed... (multiple cases here - both mine and my girlfriends. crushed our chance of getting a house anytime soon, feel free to apply)

Sadly, I typically take the time to write POSITIVE reviews since so few do so-yet FINALLY had to share how DISSAPOINTING the investment made not only personally, but also embarrassed myself by referring 2 of my clients. Bottom line, CC gets an A+ for sharing what they can do, along w/ never missing a monthly automatic payment/"service" deduction, yet causing no improvements to individuals credit....in my personal case, actually caused more issues/problems by allowing/trusting CC w/ their services. Beyond frustrating & a waist of 6 months of time & money. If I can help one person avoid the experience/frustration I went through by avoiding CC's "services"....I did my job per review.

When I first signed up for this service I was told up front that it would take no more than 6-9 months and my score would be raised by a minimum of 50-150 points even with the negative hits that I had, most of which were my ex-wives and on accounts that were opened after my divorce, they understood that fact and said they would be able to completely erase all the negative hits. I had to to contact continental every month after the first two months to get any updates, they said it would take time and I said OK, well after 1 year they they kept stringing me along with unfulfilled promises, saying just one more month with little to no increase in my score. then after 2 years I was going to purchase a new home. I along with my wife and a family friend did more in 1 month than these people had done in over 2 years, when I called to cancel they gave me the run around and when I told them I was going on record to cancel they kept removing money from my account until I went to my bank to put a stop on the withdraws, now for the last week I have received phone calls from their accounting department saying i owed more money, I'm not going to pay one more dime to this rip off company. I will be contacting consumer affairs, and the BBB. I will let anyone I know to not use this business, they would get a F rating from me, I would advise anyone looking to repair their credit to only use a local company that you can directly work with a person face to face.

After working with continental credit repair for over 8 mo I had recieved nooo contact from them about my file or what they were doing(only the initial call to start up)...no letter...no call...just a debit monthly. After many months of no contact i freeze the monthly payment...low and behold I get a call. This call was for money so I expressed my concern of no contact. I was told it takes time and they are not a call center so they are not equipped to call all there customers. This upset me so I asked "surely in 8 mo's you call call me at least once. She said sorry so I said well I don't want to continue doing business with you please cancel my account. She said I cannot cancel because there is a payment due. I told her to cancel the account and send me a itemized bill. This woman declined so I asked her does she intend to strong arm rob me for money moving forward. She said the account will continue to bill you until you pay. So I defunded the account on record and sent a paper and email request to close the account. About 3 weeks later they attempted to take money from said account on a different day then the payment day. After dealing with them I really feel like they are scam artist and they prey on the folks already needing help and that's just cold. We will see what happens because I am considering legal action especially seeing so many other online with simular issues with them

I would not recommend this company. I paid $15K from outstanding collections (credit cards, lien, hospital bills, etc) due to an economic downturn resulting in a loss of employment for 2 1/2 years. Now that employment flourished, I was able to pay down my bills and ready to begin the process of buying a home. My contract obligation was for $793 for 9 months of service. My mortgage lender suggested I use this company to help improve my credit score. Unfortunately, the work performed to improve my credit score was minimal. Customer service was very poor from rude customer service to people who don't know anything to no one ever returning my phone call whenever I asked for a return phone call. I was sold the contract under false pretense. When my credit score did not reach the goal score, under which my initial reason for signing the contract, didn't happen, I called in to complain. They will do EVERYTHING in their power to keep you including lying to you. In the end, I completed my part of the bargain and have learned my lesson... The truth of the matter is... Do NOT turn to credit repairing companies..It's a waste of time and money.

I normally don"t leave bad reviews for companies but this one had to be done...It was a waste of money with this company... I don't like how they will still continue to debit money out of your account every month even after u cancel with them... i had to call my bank for them to stop taking money out of my account every month..they are so quick to sign you up and take your money but when you Want to cancel ... they will ignore your call and will not get back to you for days. ..do not waste your time and money with this company!!!! You don't need to pay them 59.00 a month for them to tell you to open a credit card and stay under credit utilize of 30%.....this company is all bad.....

Don't bother with Continental credit. Those that saw any score improvement probably received new credit by applying for the cap one card that they recommend. This is by far the easiest and fastest way to achieve 80-100 point increase. The dispute process does little to help unless the accounts are actually deleted. You can do this on your own for free. I spent over $800 with Continental and only saw improvement after I applied for and used the cap one credit card. The first 4 months saw no improvement with the dispute process. Save your money, apply for a medium-risk credit card, call your creditors directly, and don't believe the hype with these repair companies.

My experience with continental credit was terrible. They promised to have negative items removed from my credit report and it "Did Not Happen". I was with this fly-by-night company for over a year and did not see the results I was promised. I called to cancel the service and was told that it was canceled, but months later I discovered they were still taking money from my account. I called to cancel again, and they charged me again saying that the accounts are billed in the rears. This is a scam!

I've been paying them for months with absolutely No changes from their "Investigations". I call monthly and tell them they've made no affective change. They tell me "but your score has improved" while true, it is because of impeccable payment history. The items I hired them to remove are still there. Their "Investigation" consists of me paying $79.00 dollars a month for them to mail letters I have no proof of..

Don't use this place it is a scam. After we canceled this serviced they still tried to pull payments from our account. When we told them we had canceled the service and mailed it certified Continental Credit then claimed because my spouse did not have the same last name the accounts were not linked. I found this odd because monthly payments for us both were pulled from the same account. This place is a joke! Good luck trying to get what you paid for and canceling this service.

I was told when I wanted to cancel due to my budget that they would give me a month free. I agreed and when that month came so did the charge I inquired and was told it was a internal issue. I was charged banking fees because I was not expecting the money to come out of the bank when I asked what they would do, they finally said whats your address we will send you refund, cant you put that on my card you took it from? finally I kept getting calls from them and they said how about we just credit the month that you didn't want service.

Continental Credit did nothing for us but take our money every month. Not only have they taken us for hundreds of dollars they did nothing to help our score. In fact our scores dropped 40 points we started with 598 and now we are at 530. The customer service sucks!! We were passed around to 5 different reps and could never get a straight answer from any of them. Mostly lies and promises that things will improve by the end of the month.

Do not resort to this company. Their advertising says they fix credit errors and mistakes. Also careful with giving them a card because they will keep on file and charge you without notice. Another issue is they will start challenging everything on your report and that will awaken any dormant accounts that in turn they will start to report again and damage your credit even worse...STAY AWAY...we spent over 560 dollars and have worse scores now and old accounts hunting us again..

And when you go to call to complain about it to billing they say I only been in the system for two months a total joke save your money I got better things to do in my life I just wanted to get this out there so no other sucker falls in the situation I fell into

I used them two times and left after a few months. I did not enjoy using them and spend about $500 after mortgage lenders referred me to them. If you plan on spending about a year with them then its worth your money but if you only have 6 grand in debt, just do that. If someone was in huge debt and didn't want to pay off the individuals they owe money to then it may be worth it and paying someone to clean up your junk but if you owe the money they can keep putting it back on and the process is pretty ridiculous.

I have been working with Continental Credit since January 2013. I was given a direct email and ext to a specialist Brittany, who was overseeing my case. I was told I would be given monthly updates. My first update came Feb, 15 2013 after I had to email a request to be updated. It's been six months and that is the only update I was given. All calls and email requests for information are ignored. False promises were given for increased Fisco scores needed to obtain a mortgage. I cancelled my services and was still charged on my credit card after numerous requests to cancel.
