Wescom Credit Union has seen great changes throughout its history. After struggling to find a financial institution that could be fully trusted and meet their needs, a group of coworkers founded the credit union in 1934. Since then, Wescom has grown exponentially in terms of both membership and services offered. Currently, there are more than 200,000 members and 22 branches, and customers can take advantage of account, loan, investment, credit card, and insurance services.
Many credit card companies require customers to pay an annual fee in order to hold a card. Fortunately, Wescom Credit Union does not charge any annual fees for its credit cards. This is fairly uncommon in the industry and can save cardholders hundreds of dollars each year.
Rewards Options
Wescom Credit Union provides a number of rewards options that allow customers to earn cash back, travel miles, and gift cards when they use their credit card. Cardholders get to choose with rewards sound most appealing to them.
High Credit Limits
Wescom Credit Union offers cards with spending limits up to $50,000, which gives customers the freedom to make larger purchases on their credit card if they so choose. Not many companies in the industry offer this high of a spending limit.

The Bad
No free credit score tracking
Lack of options
No Free Credit Score Tracking
Some credit card companies provide free credit score monitoring to help their cardholders stay on top of their credit. Unfortunately, Wescom Credit Union does not offer this service.
Lack of Options
Wescom Credit Union only offers one credit card-the Visa Rewards card. Although this card includes a variety of features, it may not be the best option for every individual. Consumers who would like to select from a variety of credit cards may have better luck with a different company.

The Bottom Line
Wescom Credit Union does not charge any annual fees and offers high credit limits and rewards options. However, the company does not provide free credit score tracking and only offers one card.
