Before I made a purchase I called and verified my interest rate. I took a cash advance which cost me 3% and when my first bill came the interest rate was 7.8% higher than what the quoted me over the phone. I called and asked for an adjustment they refused and I stopped making payments until they adjust the rate when they ask to my a one time payment I am prepared to make a reasonable payment.

Store branded retail cards, and personal loans. Excellent pay history with loans and cards backed by Citi. However, attempting to add other cards, or limit increases with this company has proven unseccessful. Customer loyalty is quite low on their list.

It is an okay card. I didn't know when signing up that it was for lower end credit folks. The card came with a 2500 dollar limit. Randomly one day they lowered that to 300 dollars from lack of use. The cool thing about the card is when you make a payment you get that credit back instantly. Otherwise pretty normal card. Just wish they hadn't lowered the limit which always dings credit if you carry any balances due to usage spikes lowering limits will cause.

Well, I used to really like Citi. It was my 2nd favorite credit card. I had a high credit limit and the double cash card had great cashback perks. All the sudden one day, without any notification or reason (no change in credit score or payment history), my credit limit was cut in half....which impacted me- in complete embarrassment- when I went to use it. Not cool, Citi, not cool. I will pay it off and let it just sit in my drawer. Citi will not get additional money/support/business from me.

Every CC company raises rates and tries to get the maximum amount of interest out of you, including citi. I avoid credit cards as much as possible, but I do have one Citi Costco card. It has been fine, but I am ready to cancel it even though it is paid off every month.

My one and only credit card is through Citi. I am still trying to pay off my credit card debt. I signed up with them without reading all the details. The interest is too much, as soon as I pay this off. I would never use credit card.

Not a big fun of the CITI Costco credit card and because of my several frustrating experiences with them, I am hesitant to get another card from them nor up my credit limit.
