This can be a good investment since Amazon offers a lot of items and has many resellers, so the inventory is endless. I'm always shopping on Amazon if I'm not shopping in stores and I was already a prime member, so I took it up a notch and figured it made sense to enjoy even more perks by using their card. I got a $60 gift card after applying and I get cashback, but be sure to read the terms and conditions because it comes off as if you can get 15% cashback which was a big factor for my applying until I saw that it was only for certain purchases in a specific category, and that changes throughout the year. Came off as a bit confusing if you don't pay attention and I wouldn't recommend it for everyone unless you're a heavy Amazon user like I am.

I signed up for this card to instantly save $200 off on a new ceiling fan. That was great. However, without asking me, Amazon instantly removed my default credit card and installed their Prime card as default payment method. I didn’t appreciate that at all. Chase bank is who runs the Amazon Prime card and when there are issues, you wind up dealing with both Chase Bank and Amazon as well. It can get complicated.

Yes, cash back is great. They also have no interest payment options for certain items. Still 25% interest is insane. I don't use it much and when I do I pay it off quick. It can come in handy and put a little cash in your hand if you are smart. Still, as with every credit card, be careful, it is real easy to lose control and end up with a crazy payment.

VERY high interest rates. I tried to use a different card for Amazon purchases, but when I use the Amazon car, merchandise always arrives more quickly. My advice is to pay the balance off every month. Otherwise, you could pay 25% interest or more!

I like my prime card but its not my go to. I only get a small credit line and have yet to ever get it raised. They say Im supposed to earn cash back but never have. I do like the finance feature and special offers at times which is usually what I use it for.

Prime offers many benefits, from watching shows to shopping. The prime discounts online are great but what I really love is the Whole Foods discounts. The downfall is that it is rather small and not on everything. More versatility is important.

They are not totally fair. They will disabled your card without notification. If you pay early the system they use will say that you were late and charge you late fees. They penalize the customer for paying early.

If you are an Amazon customer I guess it's a good thing. I tried to cancel my card and it took quite some digging to get that canceled. There are so many better cards I do not see any value in this one.
