I own a 2008 Ford Explorer. Transmission went out at 186000. Toco refused the claim because they say there was supposed to be a transmission fluid change and filter replaced at 180,000 miles. The schedule in the truck doesn't even go up to 180,000 miles. Update: Toco did finally agree to pay a portion of the cost to have the transmission repaired. Still not worth the hassle.

Great advice! Toco has partnered with Aamco and Pepboys as preferred repair providers. If you go to one of those groups, your deductible may be cut in half or even eliminated. Anytime you need to submit a claim, give us a ring and we will look for a preferred facility in your area.

Worst experience ever! They fought me on a my first claim, trying to find ways to deny claim. They ended up prolonging the repair claim process for 2 months, getting 2 more monthly payments from me, and then denying the claim. When I asked for the denial reasons on paper or document, they claimed I had to go through another procedure to get that request. IM STILL WAITING. BIG SCAM..SAVE YOUR MONEY..READ OTHER PEOPLES REVIEWS!

The list of coverage should tell you exactly what is covered. If it's on the list, it's covered. If it is not, then it is not. There should be no grey areas.
