Flyus did a bait and switch with their price for the Turkish Airlines flight to Saudi the same day. It displayed as $1500 but jumped up to $2200 when I went to pay. I was happy to find a better price for a British Airways through Student Universe and not get a surprise price change.

Phone Service was good But the website is unclear about eligibility. Unsure if you’re older than 26 and not a student if you can make a booking through your agency or not. Tickets are thousands of dollars, and it’s tricky to book if we are unsure if we are denied a seat when we go to the airport to fly.

We thought this site was great, love student pricing and all. BUT when a problem comes up, it is clear that you are on your own and this company will not resolve it or is only going to resolve it for a list of fees - cute trick. The issue that occurred at the airport that caused the missed flight was resolved over the phone with the airline and they gave a green light to rebook at no cost (thank you KLM, you’re the best), but the third party agency needed to call in, seems like a simple step… That was 9 hours ago. Divanni, who is 18 years old, was stranded for 11 hours in the airport waiting for 'an email' that has still never came, though updates were promised. There were two flights today that he could have been rebooked on. NO COMMUNICATION FROM SU. this is shockingly bad customer service, because flight cancellations and changes are obviously urgent situations, and airlines typically resolve it as quickly as possible. student universe seems perfectly fine with stranding students, young adults, in precarious situations and trying to get more fees out of a desparate situation. We called at least five times because there were no emails or return calls. Called again this evening, and immediately after we see that the reservation has been deactivated and cannot be opened. Interesting. We are keeping documentation of all of this, and will work with KLM to report this to consumer protection authorities. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL ABANDON YOU WHEN ANYTHING GOES WRONG EVEN IF IT IS EASILY REPAIRABLE.

Great price, but the day of my flight, they sent me an email about my upcoming trip. Clicked to log in, password didn't work. Reset password? Email not found, even though I was redirected from the email they sent me. Was not able to contact anyone without making an expensive call to the US or sending an email. I had a very important international flight coming up. Luckily I was able to check in directly with the airline. Well, sort of. I was able to check in with the first of two airlines, because it was through a third party...

I was somehow flagged as fraud and had to send multiple documents. This never happens with other websites. I think I took care of it but there was definitely some miscommunication. I certainly didn't like receiving a call about an email you sent half an hour ago.

I didn't like that when I canceled within 2 minutes, my one-way ticket to purchase a multi-city ticket, I was charged for the promo code discount and a rebate discount which totaled $30. Why would I be charged for a discount?? The advertisement says you can cancel without charge within 24 hours.
