Grab A Gun has one of the largest online selections of firearms and ammunition available online. The range of weapons customers can buy extends from concealed carry guns to rifles and pistols as well as air-powered weapons for all ages. Instead of solely being a gun and ammunition store, GrabAGun also provides knives and archery equipment; therefore taking away from their focus on firearms and gun accessories.

Search Function Needs Improvement

When using the search function, most of the time it does not find what is being searched for and pulls up related items instead. On many firearms, there are no images available, which those that do not know much about guns need to compare.

GrabAGun could improve search functions by providing direct search results.

Returns & Shipping

GrabAGun has a strict return policy, making it difficult for customers to return their purchased and ordered items. And for the few allowable conditions under which firearms can be returned, GrabAGun charges a 10 percent restocking fee. 

In regards to shipping, GrabAGun is standard and will charge customers a $40 hazardous shipping fee to all primer and powder orders. 

Refund Policy

As an online gun shop, GrabAGun has a strict refund policy due to the long ordering and verification process. Prices for guns fluctuate every day. GrabAGun's main goal is to provide low priced guns and ammo. The refund policy states that customers cannot get a partial refund if their item drops in price after purchase. Basically the last word in gun purchases for me. Do they always have the best deals? No. Why do I use them? Because their FFL transfers are easy. If you have a good relationship with a nearby gun and ammo supply place, this is one of the best hookups you can get. For military, this is also a very good option, because you can order through most exchange gun dealers and have it shipped in tax-free or even price-matched, depending on make and model. The interface of the website is easy and the pictures are clear and give you a good idea of what you are getting. Specs comparisons are also easy to set up on mobile devices and computers, which is HUGE for comparison shopping. The price comparison tool is also easy to use and makes your shopping easy breezy. Look no further.

first of all I have no idea what all the bad reviews are about ? Personally I had a great experience with this company Grab A Gun , there was one particular rifle I was always after and just like life will always throw you a curveball but with grab a gun I seen the rifle and I was able to finance which was absolutely awesome , all I had to do was fill out all the paperwork and once it was approved I went to my local firearms dealer so I could go through them to be able to transfer the rifle to their shop so they could do the standard background check before finalizing the sale . So I am beyond very pleased with my experience with grab a gun and also just lately I bought my diamond head hard sites and my strap them and I had no problem as a matter fact they shipped it out immediately with a tracking number , bottom line is up to you ? But personally I think they're great and I will always continue doing business with , thank you so much

If your reading this your in the market for a new gun I've used grabagun numerous times the prices are unbeatable their info and pictures are top shelf it's simple process if you haven't dont it before pick gun put in your cart pick a ffl dealer in the list ( I reccomend this because they have their info and have used them before ) or supply info you will get a tracking number go to the ffl dealer when it arrives pay the transfer ( approx 35$) after filling out a form answering simple questions simple deal saving hundreds of dollars then the suggested retail value they are top shelf I'm convincing my wife to allow me to get another gun and grabagun is my go to because I trust them to deliver what I saw in the picture

I had been reading alot of the reviews, I was skeptical about ordering from Grabagun but decided to give them a try. The firearm I purchased was the Walther PPQ Q4 Tac, it was around $100 cheaper than anywhere else online, and around $200 cheaper than any local gun store. I called Grabagun around 4 p.m. E.S.T. on Monday, to make sure they had it in stock, the person I spoke with was very friendly and assured me they had plenty in their warehouse. I finished placing the order around 5 p.m. E.S.T., I was expecting it by the end of the week with their $7.99 flat rate shipping. Would you believe I received a call from my preferred FFL dealer the next day at 11:30 saying they received my order 😲 That's less than 24 hours from my initial order!!! I went and picked it up around 1 p.m. I still can't believe the process of ordering it, then it shipping from Texas all the way to Virginia and I had it in my hands in less than 24 hours that's fantastic service! So far the best experience and fastest shipping I've ever had on a firearm, not even my local dealers could get their hands on one that fast. I'd not only definitely recommend them, but I'm definitely using them again! Steve

Got an email with the sales items and saw that the Ruger 10/22 was on sale for $169.99. Thought I should order it before they realize the mistake they did in the advertisement. I called customer service to check on the status of the rifle and make sure they didn't cancel the order for the wrong price they listed it at. He said it was still on track to be delivered when they said it was to be. Got it for my 12 year old son to enjoy and to learn to shoot with. He loves it, now i have to get a second one for me. Sure hope whoever makes up there email fliers didn't get fired for posting it so cheap. Oh hell, I don't care if he did. I got a great rifle at an AWSOME price and now get to spend time with an AWSOME kid at the range shooting rifles and acting like M'ericans together. God bless M'erica and Grab-A-Gun.

I ordered two guns, an extra magazine, and a holster. The order shipped on Monday and on Tuesday, my FFL called to say it was ready for me to pick up. That's Texas to Florida. Everything was securely packed and arrived in great condition. Fifteen minutes with my FFL and walking out the door. This was my first on-line purchase and it was flawless. I checked multiple sites prior to ordering and Grab A Gun had the best prices by far. The shipping cost was covered by the state sales taxes I saved. Check around with your local FFL's (see Grab A Gun's list of your local FFL's) and you may save a couple of bucks. Long story short, this was a great experience. Grab A Gun has done their homework and I will be back. But until then, I recommend them to my friends.

Wow. I got a Springfield 1911 Range Officer .45 ACP for just $732, minimal shipping that went 2nd day air, avoided the BS Crook, er Cook County firearm tax, and paid only the $50 transfer fee. I shopped several local dealers, and online sales and NOBODY was even close to this price. Now, putting this into perspective this is a 1911 with match grade slide, barrel, bushing, and frame, fully adjustable rear sights, WITH a checkered flat mainspring housing! I spend a few bucks for 8 round magazines, ambidextrous safety, mag well extension, extended slide stop and magazine release and BAM! A perfect handgun for limited/tactical class 3-gun competition.

This was my first firearm purchase on-line and honestly, I was a little apprehensive. After reviewing several on-line sources, I had decided on another site to purchase the firearm I was looking for. However, to my angst in a 24 hour period, they jacked the price up over $300. Needless to say, this didn't sit well, and I doubt I will ever go back to that particular site. Then I took a hard look at GrabAGun. They had the firearm priced around $125 cheaper than the other site, so I placed the order. In the process, I screwed up the payment and had to call Brandon to straighten it out. I have to tell you he was one of the most pleasant, understanding and helpful people I have come across. He straightened the problem out and I was able to place the order. It's posted on the order form that shipping could take as long as 5-7 days. No big deal as I wasn't in a big hurry. However, the order shipped 36-38 hours after placing the order and arrived on time and in excellent shape. As this was my first experience buying a firearm on-line, I was extremely pleased with the outcome and highly recommend this organization for firearm related purchases. Just received my order of 30rd Magpul AR mags. Delivery was timely and packaging was very secure. Grab A Gun has some of the best prices on the web for ammo, accessories and guns. All of my gun purchases for the past three years for instance, have come from them because of their good price points, good shipping intervals and ease of using their website to make to the purchases. I often recommend this site to others. Many of my friends have had a difficult time in getting away from the brick and mortars for their gun purchases, but they are slowly converting. Once they make that first purchase from Grabagun.com, they are hooked.

Untill i started Searching for a Savage Recon, i never heard of Grab a Gun before. I must admit being new to MSR's / AR chassis. I had 2 questions before buying. I was greeted buy a knowledgeable sales person who was able to walk me through the entire process of buying on line. Their customer service and knowledge of product was second to none. The free shipping code would not work so with a second phone call to another knowledgeable sales person was made. I was given a new code and the rest went as explained. 1 week later my new gun arrived in a well packaged box in a box system. This is a first rate company to deal with. I will be using them again and again in the future.

I was totally surprised by my Grab A Gun experience, after solid/good, but not exceptional, reviews. Online sales don't always run smoothly with websites and local FFL, but this was a breeze. My FFL of choice was on file, so I never had to speak with anyone...all email and online ordering. Grab A Gun promotes 2-Day shipping for $7.99 but actually shipped my handgun overnight to my surprise...it was ready for pickup before I was back in town to actually pick it up. As for my handgun, I purchased a new Remington 1911. To my benefit it was listed on clearance and was priced $200 less than big box stores and $100 less than other websites. Price and convenience will definitely ensure I shop at Grab A Gun again.

-Order (S&W9 M2.0) arrived at my pick up site 2 days(!!!) before my three day wait was up! Very great service. (I know grabagun has had bad reviews about service) -Love the short barrel and recoil is clean. (Only 200 rounds so far) Idk why so many people complain about the trigger... It works great. I'm probably gonna buy an Apex trigger just to see what all the fuss is about. Thinking about getting some glow in the dark sights. The grips are fantastic, no sweaty palms will interfere with your shooting! The mag release works wonderful! The mags will fully eject when you twist the handle to parallel with the floor. -This is my first Smith & Wesson and I can see why that name is so powerful. Will be getting a Shield very soon!

The Ruger LCR 9mm is a great 'gun. Don't know why someone would complain about the recoil, my 120 lb. wife who has trouble racking the slide on most autos had no problem shooting the gun. All her hits were center mass at seven yards on standard law enforcement training target. At rate of fire of five rounds in four seconds. The star clips are some of the best I ever used. No hassle at all loading and on loading, You should try any rounds you use in the gun since one cheaper brand of ammo did jump the crimp. But much to my surprise the cheap aluminum cased Federal and Perfecta worked fine. Trigger was smoother and more comfortable grip angle than the J frame Smiths. Gun handled 124 grain and 147 grain hollow point ammo without jumping the crimp, including plus p. Service from Grab a Gun was first rate, on like the palm tree company.

I'm not sure how it is that Grab a Gun(gag) got mostly negative reviews while Bass pro was the #1 ranked gun seller by users?! Mostly old people who don't know how to use the internet so they pay MSRP+10% at Bass pro? Who knows....Here's the deal...You buy a gun online, make sure of what u are buying....It's not a phone charger u can return to Amazon easily. Make a smart purchase. In the end...The only positive to buying at a place like Bass pro is getting your gun in the store when you buy it. But...Then you pay taxes. So you overpay, and pay taxes. Places like CTD, GAG, and primary are as cheap and with the best selection and service you can find. I have to wonder if the few bad reviews are morons who made a mistake and were pissed they had a restocking fee because they weren't paying attention. Either way, online will almost always be cheaper even with FFL fee and shipping you can save a ton of money. And as online shops go, GaG ranks among the top!

I live nearby so it helps but I did "Grabaquote" and they sent me back a very competitive price plus I had a $20 discount code. I picked up the gun a couple of days later in person from their facility with no extra fees, etc. They are friendly but also very busy. I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. I have used them many times for ammo and even have friends outside of Texas that use them. No issues.

Grabagun is a great site. I was worried by the weird name at first. They have an area on their site where u can locate an FFL near you. Then call that person to ask their fee. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they say the gun is in stock but after purchase u wait for shipping email and u ask when it will be shipped and they say usually within 5 business days. 5 business days to ship one item??? That’s not great. They need to work on that time. I did have to call there and ask a question and the guy was very nice and answered every dumb question I had even though I know they were busy. I’ve used them twice and will use again if I feel like waiting 5 days. I did save about $160 on my first purchase and about $95 on my 2nd purchase compared to Bass Pro prices

I’ve ordered several items from Grabagun and they’ve been good to their word on all of them. They have pretty much the best prices on the internet. I’m very impatient so if something doesn’t ship right now I call; I always treat them with respect on the phone and they treat me likewise! When something ships it’s usually here WITHIN 24hours! They spare nothing on the shipping! I recommend them to my friends and family! Hands down some of the best prices on items and the best customer service I've ever had. I had some issues with ffl information and grabagun getting the info they needed from my choice of FFL dealer. They were extremely helpful and patent as I figured out what they needed as this was my first time ordering online and having to ship to a FFL. Once that was figured out, the item shipped out the next day and was at the FFL in 2 days complete with all packaging, manuals, extra grips and all. Best customer service I have ever had! Will definitely be ordering more from them!

Ive done a few firearms transactions via website, but these guys have it dialed in. I was very excited to see the rifle I was looking for, was also at the best price, but was in low stock; the day before I ordered there was a notice that my rifle was out of stock, but later that day a couple came in and I got my "back in stock" email (which is a nice service). I wrote and verified that it was in stock, and that I wasn't likely to miss out. The ordering process was quick, efficient and easy, and their shipping was faster than I'd experienced with other companies. When the need to buy another firearm arises, Grabagun will be my first pick.

Ordered a Walther PPS M2 LE. Delivery was quick (ordered Wednesday and picked up on Friday). Everything was as promised and available sooner than the date they committed. Email tracking was awesome. Prices were so good that I was initially concerned that Grab A Gun might be less than reputable. I read a few reviews on line that were not positive as well. Regardless, I decided to give them a chance. So far I have purchased four pistols, a handful of magazines and ammo. All have been delivered quickly and in perfect condition. I just received the Springfield M1A that I ordered from Grab A Gun, and I am still amazed how easy the purchase was to complete and how quickly I received my new rifle. I have dealt with other online gun retailers, one that has smart-ass jagoffs working in customer service, and one that charges much more for shipping than it actually costs them, both of these things have always bothered me. I've purchase many guns from GrabaGun.com - they're my first choice for purchasing online. my only complaint would be the item description wasn't super detailed or clear. I had pretty good idea of what I was buying as I had done extensive research on it. Details like the over all length, whether it came with a muzzle brake or not. (the picture showed it with one). I know the pictures don't always represent the exact configuration, but the description should reflect it. I'll continue to purchase from Grabagun

Nothing short of outstanding, 2nd purchase from these guys. Pricing is great, saw the gun I wanted on the site and just happened to be at the local Academy Sports shortly there after. The gun was 50 dollars more and I asked if they did price matching and they said they did, then I mentioned grabagun, they do not match grabagun pricing and mentioned sales were taking a hit because of gag pricing. Ordered the gun at 6:45 PM and it was ready for pickup at 9:40 the next day ( I live locally). Have some buddies buying there now

I'd been looking at 1911s for awhile with an eye to purchase something in the future when I received one of grabagun.com's email blasts advertising a Remington R1 for $399 with factory rebate. After checking other sources online and local gun shops I found nothing even close to that price, so I pulled the trigger (so to speak) and ordered. I placed my order on Sunday evening and picked it up at my local dealer on Tuesday, one day before promised delivery! I'm super happy with my new gun, and with the experience of buying from grabagun.com.

I am very satisfied with my recent purchase from Grabagun of a Remington R1 Enhanced 1911. So far I have put 50 rounds each of 230gr ball and 230gr flatpoint cartridges without any failures at all. This review is regarding a recent purchase of a Mossberg 500 Tactical .20 ga shotgun. I could not be more pleased with the purchase. The price was considerably lower than anyone else on the net, the shipment went out in 24 hrs after the order was placed, shipping charges were $7.99 and it arrived well packaged. My M&P 9mm Shield was shipped Fast..... Same day I received it, I took it to the range to try out. The trigger pull is smooth and easy on the finger. Perceived recoil is much less than my Sig Sauer 9mm. The thin profile makes it easy to conceal. The price was lower than all of the other on-line gun stores. With the $75 rebate, the price will be $240. A bargain!

The advertising was weak, did not know exactly what I was getting [there are so many options] however, I did not care what color the gun was - but if color was important then it could have been an issue. I had done a lot of looking so I was familiar with what should come in the box. But my familiarity was based on the GOOD job other websites had done. Vendors need to understand that the internet lets us buy our toys when there is nothing else to do [I bought this gun on Memorial Day] NO opportunity to use a phone for clarification. Delivery went without a hitch, When a NEW gun is being sold then I think the seller needs to be on the hook - I was very nervous reading the reviews, since this was my first time. The gun arrived in NEW condition, BUT I had the FFL check it out before we did the transfer. My FFL lives 45 miles away; we live in Big Sky Country, so things do not happen instantly. When people are pushing me to hurry it makes me suspicious...

This was also my 1st time doing an FFL through them, and they had my purchase shipped extremely fast and not a single issue. The Canik Elite S has been everything I was hoping it would be. I made the decision after loving my 2 other Caniks and absolutely loving them, and decided to get a 3rd and go with the Elite. I actually sold one of my Glocks to purchase this and had a good bit left over to get some other stuff.

The 6.5 grendel complete upper looks amazing, however the bolt was for a .223 so it wouldn't extract from the chamber. Not grabagun's fault. It was sent from Radical firearms that way and they are happily taking care of the issue under warranty. Grabagun shipped fast and helped me contact the manufacturer for the issue I was having. Great company, great customer service, and I'm sure I will be doing business again with them soon!

I normally do not write reviews but I feel Grab A Gun deserves one. Just purchased a Ruger Mark IV from them and had it in three business days. This is my 3rd gun purchase from them and all have been excellent experiences. Buying ammo has been also been great. I highly recommend that if you need anything firearms related you give them a shot.

My AR arrived before the "ships in 3-7 day period" got going. I placed the order on a Thursday and picked up the piece on Monday. Went to the range a few days after I got the rifle and ran everything through it without a hiccup. It ate brass, steel, FMJ, HP, 55gn to 70gn, all combinations out of a variety of metal and plastic mags. This AR doesn't cost a lot, but it isn't cheap. Will make a good back-up or first AR-15.

I've purchased multiple times from GAG and have never had any issues. They are quick to respond to questions and ship quickly as well. My only and I mean only complaint is I wish the items for more clearly described. For example I purchases a black MI rail the other day and realized after I purchased that the item was actually FDE. There was not mention of this on the main item page. Once I clicked over to "additional information i noticed "FDE" in the sku. Not a huge deal as I'll be cerakoting anyway but.... On to the Springfield XD Sub-compact 9mm Gen 2. Excellent looking firearm. Fits my had perfect. Solid build/feel. Should be a great CCW. Only thing I've noticed that seems a bit off is the mag release is tough to operate from the other side of the weapon. It's tight...have to really use some force to operate the mag drop from my opposite side.

Grab a Gun had the best price on The Smith&Wesson Model 617. I purchased the gun on a Monday, Shipped out Tuesday, Received it Wednesday at my FFL. I was at the target range Thursday shooting it. The gun shoot real nice and accurate. Grab a Gun then sent me a email thanking me for my purchase. What a great place to follow up after a sale . The purchase of the Remington 1911R1stainless pistol from Grab A Gun went flawless, had it shipped to a gun dealer here, the dealer called and picked it up and all in 2 days from order date, just can't beat that service. I fired 100 rounds through this gun and had no jam ups no hiccups, it performed wonderfully. I definitely will do business with Grab A Gun again. The price was great as well and will also get a rebate from Remington.

Rifle was at my FFL in a couple of days. Best price I found on this one. Great rifle, I like it better than any AR I've shot. I blew a couple hundred rounds through it pretty fast and it got very hot pretty quick. It stayed accurate even though it was a little harder to hold. I really like this rifle and I look forward to many enjoyable sessions with it. Great service, will definitely use Grabagun in the future.

This was my first experience with Grab A Gun. They had what I needed at a very reasonable price, which most other dealers fell short on one point or the other. I was able to pick up the lower for my Kriss at their store in Coppell just a couple days after placing the order. I did the paperwork and was out in about 10 minutes. You can't beat that. They will get more of my business going forward.

I've bought handguns, rifles, mags, and accessories from here bought out right and used their shoot now pay later program every single experience is excellent. GAG beats out nearly every online gun store I've come across. I've bought 2 guns from other places only because they were not in stock and those other places could not even come close to the price of GAG! Processing and ship times are fast and notifications of when items ship. Grabagun is the first site I go to when pricing a firearm and almost always the last place to purchase it.

I would've gave Grab a Gun a 10 but, I ordered a front sight for a revolver and they sent out the wrong sight, I know this is minor, but I called customer service and the guy said I had to take pictures of the sight and package and send it to the Support Dept and they would investigate and they would email me. that afternoon I got 2 emails from 2 different Support reps, 1 rep name was Joe, said that I needed to email pictures of the sight and package to see if both items were suitable to resale and I could exchange the sight for another or I could get a refund, but either way they were going to charge me 15% restock fee. I told him that I emailed 5 pictures of the sight and package, The 2nd email I got from Noah, he stated that Grab a Gun was responsible for sending the wrong item that I did ordered the right sight and regretted that I received the wrong item, that he was sending me a Return Authorization number and a shipping label to ship wrong item back and once Grab A Gun receives the wrong sight, he was going to ship out the right sight no charge. It is easy to order on Grab a Gun website and their Prices beats all the other web stores that sale guns or gun accessories. I have decided if I ever do need any more gun stuff I'll get it from Grab A gun, seeing they made it right on the wrong item.

They gave themselves two weeks to ship (which I thought was long, but whatever) When they didn't ship on time I asked them when it would ship I got no response for four days, until I told them to cancel the order. I ordered from GrabAGun, it shipped a few days later in time for when I needed. I'm very happy with GrabAGun and will keep using them in the future.
