The kitchenaid food processor is absolute garbage. It is sold as something that can chop food, slice things, etc. It does not. It has a blunt edge and just beats up your food. It is garbage and they should do better. Their new machines also have lousy motors, our 55 year old machine will outwork the new one. Shameful

We got a KitchenAid blender as a gift and one time while blending a drink the black rubber gasket deteriorated into the drink. Thankfully it was a light colored drink so we could see what happened. I can't imagine if it was a darker drink and we actually drank plastic! I would not buy another KitchenAid blender due to this experience.
