The Good

  • Compact, Portable Blender
  • BBB Accredited Business
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Compact, Portable Blender

Unlike other personal blenders on the market, BlendJet has a compact and portable design that makes nutritious smoothies and protein shakes on the go achievable. Measuring at 3x3x9 inches, the BlendJet blender can easily fit in cup holders and a variety of bags. Recharging the blender is also convenient by using any USB port available in a relatively short time frame of one to three hours. Each charge can make up to 8 or 12 cups of blended drinks.

The BlendJet is an all-in-one blender: the consumer can drink the smoothie or protein shake directly from the cup, minimizing extra pieces. Although the BlendJet is not dishwasher safe, it can be easily cleaned on the go by adding water, a drop of soap, and running the blender.

BBB Accredited Business

Businesses that are accredited by the Better Business Bureau must maintain transparency, advertise honestly, and commit to making a good faith effort to resolve complaints. To be accredited with the BBB, businesses must pay a fee to be reviewed and continually monitored. This accreditation may give clients peace of mind that BlendJet prioritizes maintaining a reputable business.

BlendJet has an A- out of an A+ BBB rating. The reason listed for the slightly lower rating is the length of time the company has been operating. BlendJet is a relatively new company, operating since 2017.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

BlendJet values customer satisfaction and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Customers who are not satisfied with the BlendJet can return the blender within 30 days from the order date for a full refund.

The Bad

  • Short Time in Business
  • Warranty Information Undisclosed
  • Less Powerful Than Other Personal Blenders

Short Time in Business

BlendJet has been in operation since December 2017, giving the company just over two years in the blender business. Although the company has only been in business for two years, it has reached nearly 1,000,000 customers in 195 countries. The BlendJet has a five-star average rating from over 10,000 customer reviews on its website, and a four-star average rating from 176 customer reviews on the Better Business Bureau website.

Warranty Information Undisclosed

Although BlendJet offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, it is unclear if there is a warranty for the blender because warranty information is undisclosed on its website. When buying a blender, consumers may look at the warranty to have a general indication of how long the blender may last. This may help consumers weigh cost options for more budget-friendly blenders versus expensive blenders.

Less Powerful Than Other Personal Blenders

The BlendJet portable blender is not as powerful as other counter personal blenders from competitors such as NutriBullet, Vitamix, and Ninja. With a smaller 12-ounce capacity, it may be easier to overload the blender. This may be a problem when trying to blend drinks with ice or frozen fruit. BlendJet suggests cutting ingredients into small pieces or flipping the blender upside down before blending to maintain a smooth performance.

The Bottom Line

For consumers who make smoothies or protein shakes regularly and are looking for more convenience, BlendJet is a good option. For more complicated drink recipes that may overload the BlendJet with ingredients, we do not recommend the BlendJet as a replacement for more powerful countertop or personal blenders. We also recommend asking the company for warranty information before purchasing so consumers may weigh costs.

They refused to cancel an item I discovered was on backorder they were shipping 2 weeks after my payment that I didn't even know was coming until I saw what appeared to be an overcharge on my statement. They had shipped my desired items USPS, but this other one UPS, so it wasn't going to succeed in getting to my post office address even if I did want it, and they shipped several days after I asked them to NOT send it.  Also new information to me, there is NO PASSWORD option to log in, hence I can't get in to delete my card or change snything.  Nothing honest about this company buyer beware.  I had (unsuccessfully) tried to delete these two items from my saved cart before ordering but the ability was not there so I did a different cart minus those two items.   They manually added them back in and I had no idea they were still coming.  When the first extra item arrived late I said nothing thinking I had just failed to delete it from my cart, but when I learned my total charged was the cost of the original order I didn't place, I found out they were sending a Happy Viking Vanilla, one can, when I had already subscribed directly thru Happy Viking for 2 cans.  Blendjet managed to cancel THAT order which wasn't even through their store, after I had told them no, leave that order alone, cancel the one YOU are sending.  I have emails from them to prove this was no honest mistake.  Now they put it on me to go to UPS to find out what happened to that shipment that I didn't want so I can pick it up and send it back for a refund, but UPS hours would require me to take time off work and take a drive which would all cost more thsn tha $50 they charged for it.  I also found out this was manually added back to my order after I had checked out without it.  And I guess this is why the 'extra' items got sent UPS instead of USPS.  Through a this I was so distressed I haven't tried to use my blender yet.  I am going to use it and won't contact that company again whether it works good or not, but felt I had to speak up about their practices.  Maybe if I had a subscription order with them I could have passworded and accessed my account, but my $149 order, 2/3 of which I thought I had not made, isn't enough to warrant access to my own account information.

Bought 2 different blenders, couple years apart, sent both back. Broke within days, and misleading ads for their capabilities led to the breakages
