Despite the account a client decides to actually go with, all will enjoy the following benefits: online banking with bill pay, online account alerts, real-person assistance through chat and callback, over 1,300 BMO Harris ATMs, and over 600 BMO Harris locations. The actual accounts are broken down as follows:- BMO Harris Everyday Checking: meeting day-to-day checking account needs. Includes a chip-enabled debit card, minimum opening deposit of $100, and a monthly maintenance fee of $12. There are also overdraft services available as well.
- BMO Harris Select Checking: earning interest and getting special discounts are all apart of this account option. It also comes with a chip-enabled debit card and minimum opening deposit of $100 and a $15 monthly maintenance fee.
- BMO Harris Portfolio Checking: earning higher interest, getting special discounts and other benefits. This account earns interest and includes a chip-enabled debit card and a monthly maintenance fee of $25.
Savings Account

The availability of the BMO Harris Bank service is a drawback. Since they do not service nationwide, that eliminates any client that does not reside in one of their states of operation. Maintenance Fees
In addition to service area questions, another negative service item that needs to be pointed out includes the charging of monthly maintenance fees. For most checking and savings accounts, there is a maintenance fee charged for traditional services and management of accounts. I really do love BMO Harris Bank but I get frustrated often because they sign me out of my system and lock it from me. I am constantly having to create new passwords. However I will say that their customer service is amazing.

I would highly suggest anyone looking for a bank please take the time to look elsewhere! Never been treated worse at a bank. The Clayton/Clarkson branch teller was overly rude. Then i tried to get a copy of a deposit ticket and after talking to a customer support person, Ray, for over 20 minutes i asked for his supervisor and then he hung up on me. Called back and talked to Jocelyn who kept asking me to verify account with everything possible including asking me for my login and password. After another 20 minutes trying to explain to her what i wanted, i asked for her supervisor. Red answered after 10 minutes on hold and said its not something they offer. so you can not see a deposit ticket after you make a deposit, totally crazy. Tell my personal banker and he didnt try to resolve the issue just told me to find a new bank, and he is a vice president! Bye BMO

If I could give a zero-star review I would. I will be writing to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for reporting incorrect facts to the three credit reporting bureaus. After several phone conversations and correspondence, BMO Harris finds great joy in citing rules & regulations. The problem is that the numbers and facts are totally incorrect. Horrible customer service. I'll also be writing to an ombudsman. BMO headquarters is in Montreal Canada. They could care less about their customers or facts.
