Several years I had Allstate Insurance Co. for my vehicle. I had a great insurance agent, and I would give him 5 Stars. The reason I rated Allstate 4 Stars here is because their premiums can often be beat. On the other hand, Allstate is a large and reputable company that pays customers' claims. Overall, you won't go wrong with Allstate.

I really loved the rate I got on my insurance, it was the lowest in the state. And after having them for a year my rates dropped for safe driving. So the policy itself is great. But when an issue came up on the insurances side they threw me under the bus. The staff was extremely rude to my loan officer, the bank branch manager and myself. We were all very shocked at the experience. It my rates weren't so low, I would've dropped then in that moment.

I have had Allstate for over 20 years and have been mostly satisfied. Their prices do seem higher than some other insurance companies, but I guess you get what you pay for. Why do I not change insurance you ask, well it's a hassle and I know what I am getting with Allstate. I have had my claims processed timely and paid well.

Allstate had very competitive rates when I was looking for a quote. An agent called me and did a very good job of reducing my quote rate due to information they were able to collect from my over the phone. I definitely recommend talking to an agent over the phone after submitting an online quote if you are going to All State.

I do wish the premiums weren't so high especially we have been loyal customers with good driving records. I've looked at other insurance companies but the bundled pricing with home insurance is a decent deal.

I was insured through Allstate for about 6 months and while I have no major issues with the way things were ran over there, the pricing was a bit steep. This may have been due to me being of a younger age but in all they weren't bad. The customer service reps were helpful and informative.

If you are covered by Allstate, they have very good lawyers to make sure you don't have to pay much if you get in an accident. If you get hit by someone who is insured by Allstate, you are screwed. I have never dealt with such a rude and unforgiving insurance company. And quite frankly, if I was the person that seriously injured someone else and my insurance company gave them nothing, I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

I was rear ended buy a party who was insured and admitted responsibility. They made me photograph the damage prior to opening the claim in spite of my telling them that I am disabled. They sent me a check based on an estimate based on those photos minus my deductible.

Not reliable, after 3 years of marriage to my new wife they NEVER could get it together enough to get her name right after repeated request verbally and in writing. Unprofessional, not honest, when I had complaints about our agent the number I was given by that agent to their "corporate office" and what I could find online sent me back to my agents office that I had a complaint about, very shady they police themselves. We moved on to another Insurer and now getting much better service, better coverage at a lower premium rate.

When i was in an accident they failed to provide me with any information or updates on my claim. I had to do all the leg work myself plus call them pretty much everyday for 3 1/2 months just to make sure they knew what was going on, info that they should have been letting me know not the other way around.

I have been unfortunate enough to experience car accidents with them. Their "discounts" make up more than 60% of your monthly payments. Due to an accident I have been fighting for my innocence. They haven't backed me and doubled my monthly payment. I have no accidents nor tickets on my record. I went in front of a judge about the responsibility of the accident and he found me not at fault. Allstate won't investigate anymore nor back me up on my claims.

I had Allstate for a few years however, they were always unpredictable. The rates change like crazy! They were always adding fees, giving this reason or that. I like simple and consistent What I love is their brick and mortar branches. The people are very friendly and helpful. We ended up changing.

I made the mistake of going to Allstate (Steve P) , bad move! Gave me a quote, a month later it was different and higher. When I cancelled, I sent a cancellation letter for both my home and vehicles, they owed me over 2 months refund, sent a check for $2 and change. I've made several attempts to get this corrected, Steve will never call back and Mercedes (the assistant???) was just as unconcerned. I even called the headquarters to no avail. Stay away from Allstate or at least the one in Brooklyn or LI City, not sure which; if the name is Steve P, run. Trust me, I don't believe in bashing a business; but this one, I'm giving fair warning!!!!

I was a customer a few years ago. Their customer service is good but their service in general not so much, too expensive, your policy increases every time (I’m in FL). The drivewise program is an insult to their customers, it should be called the “don’tdrive” program. Not the worse company though, I stayed with them for about 10 years.
