The Good

  • Variety of Plans
  • Ski and Golf
  • Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

Variety of Plans

As a travel insurance provider, Seven Corners really does have some of the widest-reaching coverage options in the insurance market. The company offers the following different types of travel and trip insurance plans:

  • Annual Evacuation and Repatriation plans for Visa Holders abroad
  • Annual Plans via the Wander Frequent Traveler Plan
  • Group Travel Plans
  • Liaison Trips: Cover international travelers with policies from 5 days to 3 years
  • RoundTrip plans for U.S. and non-U.S. residents
  • Single-Trip Policies
  • Student Plans
  • Visitor and Immigrant insurance for non-U.S. citizens looking for medical coverage

Ski and Golf

Seven Corners plans offer add-on benefits for ski and golf trips, including covered expenses pre-paid equipment rentals if you do end up missing your game or snow trip.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

The Roundtrip Choice and RoundTrip Elite plans cover pre-existing conditions at no additional charge if your plan is purchased within 20 days of your first trip payment.

While some other travel insurance providers look back over 100 days for a pre-existing medical condition, the lookback period for Seven Corners is only 60 days.

The Bad

  • Extreme Sports

Extreme Sports

Seven Corners doesn't offer any insurance coverage for extreme sports or hazardous sporting activities. It suggests going through Dogtag for any adventure coverage.

The Bottom Line

Travel medical and trip protection for short and long trips is available for U.S. and non-U.S.-residents. This company has some of the widest-reaching plan options of any travel insurance provider that we researched. It doesn’t just offer standardized single trip plans for U.S. residents, but a selection of offerings for a variety of business and leisure travelers.

However, customers looking for coverage for hazardous sports and adventure activities will have to look elsewhere.

bad Experience Winter Garden, FL

For almost 12 months i have been in contact with this company for a $300-400 hospital bill. Part of my claim was rejected because their travel insurance doesn’t cover really any losses or costs (taxi, hotel, ticket modification etc) related to an illness during your trip (which would be the definition of a travel insurance), but they only cover medical expenses. But my hospital bill is still not refunded, I don’t get real answers from their customer service, and i cannot even access my account anymore online to see progresses, documents, anything. Please asap advise when you refund the hospital bill (i have sent all requested documents moths ago)
