Accelerated Path to Degree Completion

Achieve Test Prep offers a unique service by focusing on helping individuals bypass traditional college courses in favor of credit-by-exam options. This allows you to earn college credits more quickly and reduce the time and cost associated with completing a degree.

The Achieve Test Prep degree completion process is designed to help you pass CLEP and DSST exams for transferable college credit. The Achieve process includes the following steps:

1. Plan the path to your degree — An expert will work with you to design a path to your degree, ensuring that it will fit your schedule and budget.
2. Prepare for college exams — Online test prep courses are available for CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) and DSST exams, allowing you to test out of college courses and earn credit.
3. Pass a proficiency test — Once your test prep course is complete, schedule your CLEP or DSST exam.
4. Transfer your credits — The Achieve team will help guide you through the credit transfer process; over 2,900 accredited colleges nationwide accept CLEP and DSST exam credit.

It’s important to note that, in most cases, the Achieve process is intended to help you receive credit to attend college for further career development — the Achieve process itself doesn’t result in a degree.

Variety of Career Programs

Achieve Test Prep offers the following four programs:

• Nursing Bridge Programs — Accelerated RN pathways for associate and bachelor’s degrees. A variety of career pathways are available, such as CNA to RN, Paramedic to RN, and more.

Despite helping individuals earn college credits, Achieve Test Prep is not an accredited college or university itself and cannot grant degrees. This can sometimes lead to confusion for individuals who initially believe that Achieve offers all-in-one solutions for degree completion. It's important to understand that Achieve is a preparatory service rather than an educational institution.

Exam Fees and Additional Costs

Though Achieve Test Prep helps individuals prepare for exams, you will still be required to pay for the exams themselves, which can add to the overall cost of Achieve’s services. This isn’t always made clear upfront, leading to unexpected expenses for some individuals later in the process.
